"Seems like a good time to burn some stuff. Scorch!" While rushing towards the larger butterflies Garth holds his sword in front to burn any of the smaller butterflies that get too close.
(Assuming the larger butterflies are close enough to attack)
(Garth's attack is at disadvantage, so another roll here for that 20 and if it hits, he gets the +1 fire damage from his blazing sword)
Garth's blade is wreathed in flame and comes down right next to the Blue butterfly. His swing misses, unfortunately, but it cuts down about a hundred smaller butterflies that were caught in the path of the sword.
Rad, overwhelmed by the enemies on all sides, shouted "HERE COMES THE BOOM!" and cast Thunderwave by banging his warhammer on his shield. (6 damage on a failed save, half on a success.) A thunderous boom was heard throughout the whole manor.
All of the small butterflies were blown away in a ten foot circle around him along with the blue and yellow large butterflies. The small butterflies no longer moved, but all three large butterflies were still moving. The blue and yellow butterflies were just barely moving.

All three of the remaining butterflies swarmed Rad after seeing the effect his spell had and battered him. Only one attack made it through his defenses, however. A leg caught Rad to the side of the face, tearing open a gash on his cheek. (5 damage)

"They're floating like butterflies and stinging like bees!" the large cleric shouted.
Both remaining butterflies began attacking Rad again, but only the red one hit him, dealing 3 damage. As soon as it did, however, a bolt of lightning arced out of the big cleric and fried it to a crisp. It fell to the ground, smoking and very, very dead.

Garth sees a rectangular room, about 25 feet by 20 feet. It’s filled with two ornate divans, several chairs, and a few tables. The walls of the room are entirely covered with pins where butterflies used to be. Sitting on one of the tables is a jar which had previously contained a large golden yellow gemstone and three live butterflies. It now sat empty.
After a few moments of walking around, Stabby extinguishes.
"I wonder what would happen if I put that yellow gem back on that pedestal?" Garth pulls out the yellow gem and puts it back on the pedestal to see if it would gain back the luster it previously had.
"Hey Twig, let's see if the orb you picked up upstairs does anything when we put it on the pedestal." He picks up the gem and puts it back in his pack.

Twig attempts to place the orb in the jar. (Unsure it will fit)
Twig then looks through her pack and pulls out the silver leaf she had saved from the Crystal Tree in Brightwood Forest, and places that in the jar, to see what happens.
She also looks under the divans, chairs and tables. She examines the tables for hidden drawers. She lays down on the divan like a cat might.
The jar is just barely too small for the orb, but the leaf seems to glow brighter and more delicate and ornate while in the jar. (More of a glass case, really. But eh.)
Twig, while searching under the cushion of one of the divans, finds an ornately carved wand made of something that seemed like ivory but was pitch black.

Twig eyes widen at the find. “Oh, this is lovely!“ she immediately places the wand in the jar, to see the effect. After admiring it, she very carefully stows it in her pack, wrapped in cloth to keep it separate and protected from other items.
“Perhaps we should keep this glass jar. It makes things more interesting “ she says to Garth.
Twig heads back into the kitchen to make her way upstairs when she notices the abnormally colored apples on the table. Feeling emboldened by the fact that they were still alive, she walks over and picks up the red apple.
The wand seems to get blacker, shinier, and almost let off an anti-glow, darkening the air around it while it's in the glass jar.
Twig picks up the red apple and, as soon she touches it, she sees her fur immediately turn bright red. On her entire body. Twig is now a bright red Tabaxi.

Twig is torn between delighted and mortified. I wonder how long this will last.....
Twig takes the blue apple and sets to experimenting with it. She sets it on the counter, and watches to see if the counter changes color. She sets it in a jar of rice, and on a sock. She tests it on leather. She tests it on some living grass outside, and then on a handful of grass torn from the soil. The rubs it on the soil. She waves jovially at the Rhino outside. Twig returns inside and tests the apple in water.
Twig then has a new idea. She puts the red apple on the counter and then the blue. She grabs them both at the same moment.
Nothing she touches with the apple changes color, but the grass that she touches to the apple changes color.
Twig grabbed for both red and blue apples at the same time, but was just barely off and flashed red for a fraction of a second before returning to blue.
