Custom Campaign - Cold Cash

After dropping passengers off at the shore, Kabarr says “Tell the locals that there are several boats out in distress.  Also tell them about the Ice elves attack.”  After saying that he says to Flayr “ you up to go assist the boats?”  As soon as he agrees, Kabarr sails out to the farthest boat to help pull as many towards the shore as possible.  “Hey Flayr... do you think we will ever be thought of as heroes?   Imagine that coming from where we have been.”

As soon as we make it to the shore, Rolen starts helping the survivors out of the life boat and onto land.

Rolen: (to Tirana) "Where is the place we can stay at?"

Flayr immediately agrees to assist the remaining boats in returning to shore.

 "Heroes? If we don't become bloody legends after this, some bard is going to get a fist to the face."

After arriving at the shore, Kaimos approaches Kabarr.     “We didn’t get off to a good start, but I saw what you did fighting the attackers and rescuing the people from the casino boat, not to mention helping tow us back to shore. Thank you.”

"Oy! It wasn't all Kabarr. Quite frankly, he doesn't have the brains to do all that by himself." Flayr interrupts.

Tentatively Kabarr extends his hand to Kaimos, “I have a tendency to over react.  I have had some bad experiences from your kind of people.  Sorry that I wanted to set you on fire.  Kind of comes natural to me. You are welcome.”

Kaimos chuckles at Flayr's comment, then shakes the genasi's hand.  "Fortunately we had friends around with more level heads than ourselves, since I was just as quick to try to fight back."

Flayr is clearly pleased with the compliment.

 "Well," He says modestly, " My mother was a water genasi, after all. "

The patrons rush off for safety, comfort, and assistance.  It isn't long before every survivor was secure.  Tirana refers to a district just past the market, where a few nice restaurants could be found.  "I'd have to show you." She adds.

(Sorry I was quiet so long!  Got super sick for a week, not an experience I recommend.  I miss anything important?)

With a slight yelp, Pang awakens in a slightly delirious state.  "HUH?  What happened?  Where are we?  Did anybody get my sword?"

Rolen: (to Pang) "did you fall asleep while we were rowing back to shore? i didn't see any sword, but i was in a hurry and panic to leave the ship i can't say i was paying attention for any loose swords.

Rolen: (to Kaimos) "You coming with us? or you gonna hang out with your new friends?"

Rolen: (to Tirana) "If you could wait a moment, i just want to make sure everyone is ready to go."

Kaimos rejoins Rolen and Tirana. “Yah, I’m ready to go.”

"Well, my fine friends!" Flayr declares, throwing an arm over the shoulder of Kabarr and missing Gnook entirely, " Where to from here? "

(Does anyone else find it funny how we just split into two groups even though we are technically one party?)

(it is indeed funny, hopefully a situation will come that will get us to formally create the party, my guess is this is not the last time we'll see that extremist group.)

(I can run both groups, so don't worry if you split.  Also no spoilers, lol.)

(I blame Kabarr!  If he hadn’t tried to attack me we could have all been friends and worked together all along!!!! :p)

( I blame Kabarr also.... oh wait that’s me.... I also blame him for defeating the Ice elves with Flayr.)

Kabarr turns to Flayr and says “I want to sell this ship and get us fully equipped.  I don’t really want to be in possession of it when the Ice elves come looking for it.  They will probably be better prepared for us.”

Kabarr searches every part of the ship for anything valuable.

"A splendid plan!" Cries Flayr. He proceeds to strip the ship of valuables.

(Flayr, can you roll that again, I can't see the results.  Though if someone else can see them, just let me know instead. Lol.)

Kabarr, you find several sets of tool's below deck.  (Make a list of whichever toolsets that you think you'd find, and I'll probably okay all of them.)
