Custom Campaign - Cold Cash

Kaimos smiles back.  "I'm glad you're coming with as well."

Kabarr looks over the armor.  First he checks to see if any might provide extra protection and or stealth.  Investigation check 5.  Next he tries to discern the ownership and history of the finer pieces.  History check 12.  Lastly he just looks for any pieces that might honor his father “the burning blade”.

Flayr jerks violently. "A hundred... Let me see that." He inspects the price tag carefully.

"Well, have you found anything that might fit me?"

Kaimos and Tirana continue down the street, passing places familiar to them both.  She points out a cafe; "This place makes the best choco." She says with a smile.

Kabarr, the armors appear to be built in traditional Genasi style and construction.  These pieces should provide the resistance to heat and fire that Qixallia armor has become known for.  Though elegantly made, they do appear to be mainland knockoffs; but very good ones.  A particular pattern along the blackened steel on one piece catches your eye.

Technically the pricetag says; '10pp', but the amount is the same.  That staff, you hate to admit, did feel worth a hundred gold.

"Oh no, Mr. Gnome sir.  I'm just getting your measurements to see which pieces we have that will fit you." The Tabaxi says, continuing to measure you.  He just put the tape at your ankle, and his other hand is getting dangerously close to your inner thigh.

Kabarr looks over the blackened steel one and asks “how much for this one?”  He patiently awaits an answer.

Flayr grits his teeth and pays up. "This better be worth it." He mutters.

Kaimos eyes the cafe as Tirana points it out.  "Maybe we should stop and get some on the way back when we're done getting supplies.  Doubt we'll have many opportunities for choco once we leave."

"That piece is 500gp; 1000gp if you want full Fire Immunity." Fivin replies to Kabarr.

Though the cost is high, after Flayr picks up the staff again, you feel that you made the right choice.

Tirana nods.  

It isn't long before Kaimos and her are approaching his home.

"Many thanks." Flayr chokes out, exiting the shop. He weighs the staff in his hand and balances it on his palm, before slinging it across his back, satisfied. He joins his two companions in the armorers.

The big guy remembers, before you leave, the free staff sheath that comes with the weapon; a soft leather holster that you can barely feel.  

Kaimos looks almost a bit embarrassed as they reach his home.  "It isn't much," he says, "But it has everything I need.  Monks aren't exactly encouraged to live lavish lifestyles."  He grins wryly as he says the last bit, then moves quickly through the house to gather the things he had ready for the trip.

Tirana looks around; impressed a bit by the simplicity of the set up around your place.

Kabarr says to Fivin “1000 is too rich for me..... (pauses to look closer). Would you take 450 and this set I am wearing (gestures to the 500 gp set)?”

"Planning on doing something needing Fire Immunity?" Fivin asks, with hidden intent.
