Illezenya boosts Ebonitus up and he places the small statuette of the multi-coloured winged serpent in the serving platter sized hands of the Frost Giant - which hand exactly?
Before placing the statuette, Ebonitus inspects both hands. If there are no distinguishing features, he first place the statuette in the left hand. If that has no effect, he places it in the right hand. If that has no effect, he brings the statuette back down and returns it to Mullo, saying "Keep this safe, it may be needed later."

Having been momentarily side-tracked looking to the northern door, the construct was slow to respond to Ebonitus. But had softly apologized by the time the earth genasi had finished his business with the statue, her having eventually processed the request.
"So that is that then. Shall we proceed on?"D.O.R.K remarks requested calmly, though hardly waited more than for the first sign of acceptance prior to leading the way to the northern room and its stone giant. "It is quite curious." She commented while taking the time to study the giant more closely from the ground, noting if it had any weapons in hand as well, if any. "But more data required before making further speculation." Her attention then turned to towards the stairs, but any that follow her are given at least a quick side-eye. "It is advised that you follow me, but proceed with caution. If you would however wish to further study the immediate area, I would recommend that Acolyte Devin stay to provide any necessary light." She then stands at attention, seeming to wait for permission this time prior to advancing up the stairs to begin searching the walkway while gradually proceeding to whatever level or landing awaited her.

The half-drow prefers the darkness, but understands that his colleagues aren't. He casts dancing lights and keeps the magical light circled around those who need them. Ilezenya will stay at the edge of the light as they explore this next room. (Ilezenya will maintain concentration on this spell and recast as needed.)
"Let's check out this large room to make sure there is no threat, and then go up these stairs."
As the party stands on the landing Illezenya can see - with his enhanced darkvision - that the room stretches off into the darkness. On the party's level there appear to be doorways every 60 feet on both sides of the corridor.
Devin watches as Ebonitus tries the shaman's statuette in the frost giants hands. "An interesting idea but I think the issues with statuette is that we killed the shaman. It was one thing to kill the leader, but another to kill the shaman. As for this frost giant, I think it is missing its weapon, as all of the others have them. Perhaps we will find it somewhere nearby."
He then moves up behind D. "Let me scout with the Arcane Eye and see what is down this hallway before we enter." He says moving the eye into the hallway and looking into the rooms.
D.O.R.K simply bows and offers in a polite gesture for Devin to proceed with his plan. "By your leave, Acolyte Devin. Do keep us updated in case there is something we need act with greater haste."She requests formally, then shifted to look towards the passage at full attention. "We will remain on guard here until your examination is complete."

It takes 40 rounds – about five minutes – for Devin to send his Arcane Eye thoroughly throughout this part of the complex. It appears to be some sort of dormitory complex. A 60-foot-high hall stretches northward. The hall is inclined at a slight angle, so that the floor in the north end of the hall is higher than in the south end. Fourteen 30-foot-tall archways spaced along the west and east walls lead to 60-foot-square chambers furnished with frost-covered stone couches that serve as beds. Some of these beds have tattered furs atop them. All of the chambers are the same with the exception of the fourth one on the west side which has a crack in the back (West) wall.
"The spell is done, the Eye is gone. Of what I saw behind the the crack were tunnels that are about 10-foot-high, 5-foot-wide cracks in the mountain rock which appear to have been caused by earth tremors. Perhaps another way out of the temple could be found that way but no giants would likely fit in them."
D.O.R.K is nothing if not patient with Devin, figuring quickly over time some of the unspoken limits in terms of mobility where it came to the magic eye. In the meantime, she is completely silent and steadfastly focused on keeping her head on a swivel until the full report is delivered by Devin.
"Agreed. It is also unlikely that we would find our 'weapon' as through there as well. But, it is a possible avenue of exploration all the same. So, perhaps after exploring the southern door and finding nothing, we can reconsider trying the crack." She said. "Before then, it might be a good idea to link back up with Harshnag and take a short rest prior to continuing further explorations. We can then ask him if not already asked what might be a gift of a weapon a frost giant might present."

The party makes their way back out of the complex to the portico where Harshnag had set up camp. When D.O.R.K. asks "what gift of a weapon a frost giant might present?" Harshnag shakes his head and then looks carefully at each party member as if assessing them before answering "and the Gods chose you lot as their champions - must of been scrapping the bottom of the barrel if you ask me" before pointing to his jagged axe which is propped up against the wall within easy - for a giant that is arm's reach - "an axe of course!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
D.O.R.K puts forth no rebuttal to Harsnag's claim; but rather, she simply looks to the axe, and then back at the giant and nods. "Understood. Search parameters going forward shall be narrowed to seek out an axe." She then wordlessly sought out a spot nearby, pulled out some tolls, and would quietly begin work making repairs over the next hour of respite. Or so she intended to at least. But after it is done, she would have words for the giant.

Any sign of recent habitation?
The furs look pretty old and their preservation is probably due to the cold.
