"Is this the Oracle?" Devin asks aloud at the same time that D.O.R.K. wonders if the ghost may in fact be "the spirit of a giant that failed a trial perhaps?"
To both of these questions the apparition responds "no I'm not the Oracle - in fact you could say I'm the result of the Oracle's advice."
Dork nods and says calmly, "A grave warning then." She bowed her head in thought for a moment, before then continuing in the same tone if only instill a measure of the same feeling in others. Something she'd never consciously tried to do so. But now...
"What is your name? No... Who are you? And would you care to elaborate more on your statement? We would seek an audience with the Oracle, but would understand the dangers that entails first and foremost. In exchange, mayhaps we can help you, if only in finding your rest should that suffice as repayment."

We would seek an audience with the Oracle, but would understand the dangers that entails first and foremost. The apparition responds "my name is Eigeron. My father Blagothkus and I came to the Eye of Annam seeking wisdom. My father was interested in knowing what was his future and asked the first question. I wont bore you with all the details but in essence the oracle told us that a great upheaval would soon upset the balance of power in the world, giving all giants the opportunity to win the respect of their gods and bring glory to their race. My father was most excited about this but then the oracle told him that he could never impress the gods enough to earn their favor. This made him angry but to make matters worse the oracle then commanded that I step out from my father's “dark shadow.” As I was trying to understand what this meant my father attacked me in a great rage. I fought back but his first blow - which caught me completely by surprise - twin lightning bolts was too much and I was soon defeated."
The apparition pauses and then continues "to seek the oracle's advice you must stand in the circle and then ask your question or questions."From her place on Haetone's back, Mullo can make out the circle that the apparition mentions.
"As the silver moon waxes and wanes, so too does all life." Ilezenya intones in a ritualistic manner. He then continues to the spirit, "Are you bound to this place, or this shell of your body? Do you seek release?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Ilezenya speaks, Mullo encourages Haetone forward a little to get a better look at the circle, but she does not allow the pegasus to step into the circle.
D.O.R.K bowed her head at the news of the spirit's fate. But as she looked up initially curious in hearing an answer to the Dusk Warden's question, it is Ebonitus and Devin her attention shifts almost immediately to after which with a plainly stated, "It seems that my misgivings of a trail were unfounded. Though interpreting any response correctly may yet be a trail in and of itself... Be that as it may, One of you two or perhaps both of you should ask the most pertinent questions first."

Devin's mind raced as he considered the questions that he might ask. He wasn't sure how many he would get or how long this would last so he tried to come up with what seemed most important right now. They already knew about the breaking of the Ordning and who had done it and pretty much why. But what is next? And who is the blue dragon from the dreams? He also remembered something about King Hekaton of the Storm Giants and his wife being killed. On an island! His dream! Things were coming together in his mind.He knew he had his questions and stepped into the circle.
"Oracle of the All-Father!" He called out in Giant. "What can be done to stop the giants and set things right again?" "Who is the blue dragon that seems to be involved?" "What is happening with King Hekaton?" "Who killed his wife?" "Where is the island that she died on?"
"Are you bound to this place, or this shell of your body? Do you seek release?"Illezenya asks the apparition. To which it replies “I do not know if I’m bound to this place or not as I’ve not tried to leave! However, release from this undeath would be appreciated."
As the apparition and Illezenya finish their conversation, Devin steps into the ring and asks:
"What can be done to stop the giants and set things right again?"
As he finishes the question one of the statues that of the Fire Giant, is no longer lit up. A voice then thunders out “YOU MUST FIND A MAGIC CONCH OF THE STORM GIANT KING, HEKATON AND USE IT TO REACH HIS COURT. ONCE THERE YOU MUST ROOT OUT THE EVIL THEREIN.
Devin ponders this answer before asking
"Who is the blue dragon that seems to be involved?"
As he finishes the question one of the statues that of the Cloud Giant, is no longer lit up. The voice then thunders out “ITS NAME IS IYMRITH!”
With this answer, Devin turns to the party and shrugs his shoulders as if to say what next.
(OOC: I thought I’d give Devin a chance to revise his questions if he wants)
At the pause in questioning, rather than speak, D.O.R.K instead looked between the spirit and Ilnezya, then back to Devin. "An optional request, as there are many. Another being the conch's location as well. Though perhaps a needless one."She said to him, then looked to the statues. "But limited our questions it would seem." She bows her head in thought for a moment before finally turning and regarding Harshnag and the Spirit as best as she could from her vantage.
"Har.... Warrior Harshnag and Eigeron, Son of Cruel Blagothkus. Would either of you know anything about this magic conch or its whereabouts? Given its significance, I imagine it is an item of great renown even outside the Storm King's Court."
"Har.... Warrior Harshnag and Eigeron, Son of Cruel Blagothkus. Would either of you know anything about this magic conch or its whereabouts? Given its significance, I imagine it is an item of great renown even outside the Storm King's Court."D.O.R.K asks them both.
"Never heard of it lass"Harshnag answers and if a ghost can shrug its shoulders then this is what the apparition does as it replies "I'm unaware of it as well."
"Where can we find the magical conch?" Devin asks. As he does so the statue of the storm giant goes dark.
The voice responds "THERE IS NOT JUST ONE MAGICAL CONCH BUT TO GET ONE YOU MUST PROVE YOURSELF! WHEN HUMAN BARBARIANS CAME TO THESE LANDS, THEY FOUGHT OUR KIND AND STOLE OUR RELICS, BURYING THEM IN THE GROUND. THE HUMANS BUILT ALTARS TO UTHGAR, THEIR GOD-KING, ATOP THESE RELICS AND SURROUNDED THEIR ALTARS WITH BURIAL MOUNDS. GO TO THESE MOUNDS, RETRIEVE ONE OR MORE OF OUR LOST RELICS, AND BRING THEM HERE AS TRIBUTE. DO THIS, AND YOUR PATH WILL BE MADE CLEAR. THERE ARE MANY PATHS YOU CAN TAKE. THE MORE RELICS YOU DELIVER, THE MORE PATHS YOU WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE FROM. SEVERAL EVIL GIANT LORDS STAND READY TO OPPOSE YOU. YOU CAN RUIN ALL OF THEIR PLANS BY DEFEATING JUST ONE OF THEM. WHICH ONE THAT IS REMAINS TO BE SEEN.”
Hearing the news, D.O.R.K could not help but look to Mullo; both to gauge her reaction, and if need be, possibly move to help ease any anger at the voice's declaration. If nothing is forthcoming from the shaman within the first few moments, be it in some bold statement or otherwise, then she nods once in perhaps appreciation acknowledgement of Mullo's restraint before turning towards Devin. "A moment, Devin."She requests, only to then look to Harshnag and Mullo.
"Given Harshnag's reaction following events at the entrance, and your own ties, Shaman Mullo, do either of you know of any of these mounds or where they may be located? And... how we may set about retrieving at least one of these relics?"

Although no expert in the body language (if that even exists) of the apparition Mullo believes that its words are sincere.
