Devin is just in range as Meiva is lying on the bridge close to the gap. Is Healing Word a bonus action, if not does Devin want it to be his action in Round 8?
The Battle of Nightstone - Top of the Eighth - {Vark, Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Grumpy, Njorman, Toruun, Jaylen, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin, Beedo, D.O.R.K., Gentle, Orcs, Tiny, Kella & Guards} 1) At some point in the last five seconds as Meiva lies on the bridge she suddenly feels a warming radiance wash over her (Devin's Healing Word spell which restores her to 7 hit points) that makes her feel ready to get up and continue the fight. 2) At the beginning of this round, there is one Orc remaining on the Bridge, and ten (10) about to enter the Moat from the Western Bank. 3) If Vark keeps running (i.e. Dash) he will be up in the Watch Tower where Beedo is already ensconced at the end of the round. 4) Jaylen will return with reinforcements (the four Guards) this round. 5) Happy - a second Death Save is required for you. 6) Meiva you're up followed by Sleepy and Grumpy (still running as fast as his little Halfling legs can carry him).
The Battle of Nightstone - Middle of the Eighth - {Vark, Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Grumpy, Njorman, Toruun, Jaylen, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin, Beedo, D.O.R.K., Gentle, Orcs, Tiny, Kella & Guards} 1)The remaining Orc on the Bridge's saving throw or not (DC 14 - Dice system not working so did it the old fashioned way and generated a '2'). The last Orc's face goes blue as the flesh in its neck starts to rot making it unable to breathe and clutching its neck it pitches into the Moat. 2) Sleepy you're up.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sleepy flies to within 80 feet range of the orcs on the western bank and fires at them with his crossbow. If there is an obvious leader he'll shoot at that one.
1) Sleepy only has a flying speed of 30 feet and is 110 feet from the group when he lets fly with his crossbow bolt which sails into the moat. Given all that he can see is a bunch of heads it is difficult to pick out which one is the leader. 2) Njorman starts to run (Dash ) down from Windmill Hill towards the Bridge hoping to get a clear shot. 3) Toruun you're up followed by Jaylen

Vark continues to chase(Dash) after Beedo, and wonder if the goblin's speed was the result of D.O.R.K's healing other. If so, he was /so/ calling Beedo out on it later! Assuming they both survive the day. Again...
Having sprinted for all he was worth a while back, Beedo starts taking shots at any wounded Orcs among his original targets. "Wha-hooo~ It's ya boy, Beedo Big Nose! 'member me?!" Beedo lets out a cackle. "Swim all ya want, ya wannabe Dire Goblins! Just wait till the Boss catches up to ya! Then ye'll be sorry!"He tries sliding down the ladder using the rest of his movement(if possible).
D.O.R.K shall continue her swim onto land, and upon reaching it, immediately Dash for it. All the while mutely enduring an endless stream of mental beratement for the oh so poor planning.
She should've taken proper command... She should've accounted for the water slowing her down... She should've maintained her position... She should've... not been so arrogant...
At any other time such an impulse would've been squashed before it could bloom into action. A flaw in her design that only now -- in /real/, proper combat felt more of a blessing. One she ignored like some foolhardy son of Tempus...
(@Grant Also, didn't One kill one of his friends? And at least another was taken out by the arrows already? o_O)

Xolkin pulls a potion out of his belt and offers it to Kella. "Take this, but don't drink it until they're upon us," he says, sounding uncharacteristically concerned.

Devin looks to Fiddles. "It seems we are no longer in a position of advantage. But I think they will be back in range, at least for me, in a bit. Maybe even now they are in range."
Devin tries to eyeball the distance to the orcs.
"I do rather enjoy lobbing fireballs at orcs. I hope they are in range."
After looking for a moment he shrugs.
"I don't think they are in range. I say we wait for them to get closer."
Fiddles take no action
Devin readies a Fire Bolt to launch when the orcs come into range of 120ft. The blue ball of flame swirls around his hand eager to launch.
(Do you mean Tiny or Gentle? Tiny has not posted in some time? Or are you referring to post #579 needing to be changed?)
Kella cries out and attempts to avenge the injury against her, stabbing repeatedly with her shortswords.
Attack: 16 Damage: 6 Should be a 3, was giving her a +2 to damage rolls until this one
Attack: 19 Damage: 7
And that's all I have to say about that.
(I don't set Meiva on the map. But I thought she was on the bridge to the keep)
Devin was a little too caught up in launching fireballs at orcs and didn't realize Meiva was on the ground injured. He then casts Healing Word on her.
Healing 7
Devin is just in range as Meiva is lying on the bridge close to the gap. Is Healing Word a bonus action, if not does Devin want it to be his action in Round 8?
DM - Stopping a god in his tracks
OOC: Its a bonus action.
I meant Tiny as he was second last in the initiative order.
DM - Stopping a god in his tracks
Not being able to engage the final Orc, tiny drops his Great-sword and redraws his heavy crossbow, firing a shot at the Orc.
Attack: 9 Damage: 1
The Battle of Nightstone - Top of the Eighth - {Vark, Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Grumpy, Njorman, Toruun, Jaylen, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin, Beedo, D.O.R.K., Gentle, Orcs, Tiny, Kella & Guards}

4) Jaylen will return with reinforcements (the four Guards) this round.
5) Happy - a second Death Save is required for you.
6) Meiva you're up followed by Sleepy and Grumpy (still running as fast as his little Halfling legs can carry him).

Happy's Death Save: 16
Meiva leaps to her feet, swaying unsteadily. She scans the battlefield, then casts Healing Word on Happy and Toll the Dead on the closest Orc.
"Silvanus, grant this protector of the peace vitality, and," Meiva prays, glaring at the remaining orc, "diminish the vitality of this disruptor!"
Happy gains 8 hitpoints. The orc must make a DC 14 Wisdom save or take 6 necrotic damage.
And that's all I have to say about that.
The Battle of Nightstone - Middle of the Eighth - {Vark, Happy, Meiva, Sleepy, Grumpy, Njorman, Toruun, Jaylen, Fiddles, Devin, Xolkin, Beedo, D.O.R.K., Gentle, Orcs, Tiny, Kella & Guards}
1) The remaining Orc on the Bridge's saving throw or not (DC 14 - Dice system not working so did it the old fashioned way and generated a '2'). The last Orc's face goes blue as the flesh in its neck starts to rot making it unable to breathe and clutching its neck it pitches into the Moat.
2) Sleepy you're up.

Sleepy Crossbow

Of the original 11 in the western Horde one was killed by its mates. The others are all still extant but several are bearing wounds.

(You can ready a firebolt/shot for if they move into range?)
Jaylen you're up. Everybody else after Jaylen if you have not posted please do so. Then I will do the Guards.

Excellent idea.
DM, I have edited my post to reflect this most excellent suggestion.
