"GREAT WORK, ANNE AND RICHARD!" Gotta-go shouted as he scrambled up. Seeing Richard's intent, he rushes to follow Richard to the oil spill, making noises to get the ox's attention. Almost slipping on the oil spill himself, Gotta-go then casts a Minor Illusion of a large waving red flag, hoping to entice the ox to charge toward the oil spill.

Capitalizing onthe falling Ox Zombie, Richard and Gotta-go both make an attack against it. Richard significantly damage the creature's legs. You are sure even if it manages to stand up again it wont be able to make another powerful charge.
The Ox Zombie spend its turn tries to break from the rope!
As Anne is now the only one who is holding the rope, make a Strength check to contests the Ox's check of 6. If the Ox is higher he breaks free from the rope.
Anne manages to hold the beast in check for another few seconds. Richard uses this opportunity to land another powerful attack to the Ox Zombie. The large zombie knocked to the side, not moving, laying on the ground.
....for few seconds.....then its body shake, and a surge of green light comes from its eyes and cracks in its body, and flies into the temple.
Gotta-Go's jaw drops seeing Richard's suave move. With his mouth still hanging open, Gotta-go slowly raises his hands and begins to clap loudly. "Bravo, sir!" Excitedly, he runs to catch up with Richard, heading to the temple.

Well what you'd like to do now? You help Adric and the two diggers, but they don't seem to wake up shortly, while the temple in front of you continues to loom with negative energy.
"At least we know where the hell Erve is, it's just whether or not i can punch her in the face or not right now. Let them rest, and we will do the rest." (no pun intended)
Even tho Richard had failed to look cool with dual wield crossbow shots, and his oil trap failed, at least he can walk proudly again after the oil slide.
Richard proceed to the temple without worrying Aldric and the diggers.

Richard approached the Ox, hit it with rapier and sneak attack as a bonus, and use cunning action to dash backward right beside the pool of oil.

damage roll (1d8 + 3) + sneak attack (1d6) : 7 + 5
edit : the target is the leg Anne already hit before. I don't know if 10 hit roll is a hit or miss anyway...
