It must be something different from the usual undead fortitude because I rolled 25 damage, which means he would have have to hit a DC30 to survive...I don't even know how his death save succeeded at 23. And who knows what the wisdom roll was for. I hope someone took knowledge religion....maybe they cant be killed normally in vicinity of the statue?))
Leaves only grumbled as the gator seemingly kept moving despite losing its head. This wasn't fair!
"There's some trickery going on here! He should be dead...er!"
(If i'm reading it right 3 crocodiles are near Leaves and Erich?)
Tak would fly over group of crocodiles and land between them and his comrades transforming into a large brown bear. Tak will attempt to bite one and claw another.
Bite: Attack: 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Venetia concentrates for a moment then enunciates a series of arcane words. Immediately a spectral hand emerges from the stone floor and reaches out toward one of the crocodile.
Chill Touch: attack- 25
dmg- 3
If you hit an undead target, it also has disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of your next turn
"Lets see you handle this..." Leaves grumbled, stringing her bow for another shot. Clearly she had to cleave the middle of the spinal column...maybe these things were animated by something beyond normal physics? It wasn't her area of expertise!
Action: Fire another arrow at any surviving gator closest to our group! Preferring wounded targets.

(Perhaps I got something wrong here. I was under the impression that the saving throw DC only takes into account the attack that drops the creature to 0 HP, not all of the attacks combined.)

Tak tears through two of the undead crocodiles, scattering rotting meat across the corridor. Jevyn unleashes a fire bolt, but the magical projectile whistles over the heads of the crocodiles and hits the statue in the midsection, melting the stone and creating a smoldering crater. Leaves and Venetia combine to slow the crocodiles, but the undead reptiles are far from down. Snapping and thrashing with terrifying speed, they attack.
Venetia Attack: 20 Damage: 7 (On a hit you are Grappled, escape DC 12)
Tak Attack: 17 Damage: 9 (On a hit you are Grappled, escape DC 12)
Jevyn Attack: 17 Damage: 9 (On a hit you are Grappled, escape DC 12)

((Seems that is the right way to read it, actually. I found a clarification.
Humm those are annoying to put down...especially when we don't know which ones are damaged. We need to concentrate our damage on one at a time. Preferably the most wounded ones-I know I would have taken one down to 1 hp at least. I wanted to attack a wounded one last turn, not waste my attack...
Moving forward, can we get a simple list of how many alligators there are and how much health they have? Like, Zombie A, Zombie B etc...))

[I have two alternate actions, depending on whether Croc A dies or not.]
If Croc A Dies:
Jevyn nodded his thanks to Erich, and turned his attention to the crocodile attacking Tak. "Let's see if I can get you out of there." Breathing in slowly, he steadied his aim and let loose another fire bolt.
Fire Bolt against Croc B: 7(+4 from Saving Face) for 4 fire damage.
If Croc A Survives:
Jevyn's nose wrinkled in disgust as he saw the crocodile begin to reform and move again. "Haven't you ever heard of resting in peace? Or I suppose in your case, it's going to have to be pieces!" Drawing his dagger, Jevyn sent a pulse of magic down the blade as he thrust it down towards the crocodile.
Booming Blade with a dagger against Croc A: 11 for 4 piercing damage. If Croc A willingly moves from its space before the start of Jevyn's next turn, it takes 3 thunder damage.
Esme's Turn (Initiative Count 7):
The raven turned her attention from helping Tak to helping Venetia take on the weakest crocodile.
[Depending on which action occurs, I'll mark the use of Saving Face.]

(wow 3 ones)
Jevyn let out an annoyed tsk as he conjured a small flame in his hand. Thrusting it forward, he called out to Esme, "Help Tak!"
Fire Bolt against Undead Crocodile: 18 for 3 fire damage.
Esme's turn (Initiative count 7): Esme will fly over to Tak, taking the Help to assist Tak on his next attack.
[I figured it'd be easier for me to add Esme's turn here than post twice.]
