(the guy said we would get 200g a piece... so 1200 gold if my math is right... so is it 1200g or 12,000g.... 200g might not be enough to get Shiv to risk killing good guys... 2000g on the other hand might..)

My mistake, I meant 1200. You will get 200 gp apiece.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"May we have a moment to discuss this among ourselves?" Jevyn waved the group in for a huddle. Checking to make sure that their potential employers weren't listening in, he whispered, "This seems fishy. I don't know much about Lithmir, and I can't confirm if it's a poison or not. I'd personally prefer more information on this Cazanarro guild. The pay is good- I'm certain that one person's share from this job is more than what we all have combined. All in all, it's a good job. What do you all think?"
“What if we ask for 12 hours to decide, since the job won’t take place for 2 days, and we can rest then inquire about the guild for a few hours before coming to a final decision. I’m not opposed to the job as it stands though. “ Tak whispers.
Shiv will look to the others... "So I am not willing to blow up a shipment of orphans heading to church just so these guys can knock down the empty orphanage and build a sweet new tavern... 200g is nice but I would have a really hard time sleeping at night... even if I was sleeping on a really nice bed..." The green Viashino would say to the others...
"What if it is a shipment of poison being sent to the city watch to kill werewolves terrorizing a retirement community... " Shiv will say, lowering his voice... "Look, we cannot believe anything these guys are saying... They could be lying about the shipment... they could be lying about who has the shipment... they could be lying about the purpose of the shipment... unless you have a zone of truth you wanna throw down on this guy and so he can tell me that these "bad guys" we are supposed to kill are actually "bad guys".. I am not buying it... I mean look at the people in this place.. why couldn't they take care of this shipment" Shiv will lean in a little farther and lower his voice a little bit more. "I will tell you why... it is so that when Bahamut comes looking for his neiphews dragon eggs that were lost in fire when his shipment was raided... they can point their fingers at us!"
Tak cocks his head at shiv and pulls out a few pieces of venison jerky. "Here eat this. You're burning a lot of energy talking and thinking, this will help."

"Yes, assume there's layers and layers of things we don't know about. Does it matter? It's something to do. And eventually someone will betray us anyway...and we'll have to show them what happens, hmm? It's all part of the business, scaley." Leaves commented, cracking some nuts she had taken from the tavern and tossing the shells on the floor.
"Locke, you have yet to speak. I wish to hear your thoughts before I make my decision," Jevyn said to his human companion, cocking an eyebrow as he realized he was still doing mental math.
"My thoughts Jevyn?"Locke says as he turns away from the would be business partners and towards his traveling companions. "I think we should do it." Locke sends quick nod and a subtle wink to his friends before turning back to Corpse and Lazarus.
"Then I am in agreement as well," Jevyn nodded as the group broke to address their employers. "I believe we are all in agreement to take the job you have described to us. If it turns out that what you have told us is false, then the deal is off. Is that a good enough set of terms for you?"
In response, the tiefling merely says "We will meet back here one hour before the heist to discuss last minute details. Until then, farewell." He bows, and Slaine, Corpse, and the two bodyguards exit the room.
The tiefing shrugs. "With 12,000 gold pieces on the line, I believe you can afford to take a risk."
As far as Tak and Shiv can discern, the tiefling is telling the truth.

History (for Lithmir information): 16
Jevyn recalls from his perusing of dusty tomes that Lithmir is indeed a poison, and a potently lethal one at that.

“That’s a big leap but if the shipment turns out to be orphans I think we should be able to handle our 4 chaperones and change our minds.” Tak says.
Atlas gives a thoughtful nod "I would not be comfortable blowing up orphans either. That would be, as you say, a deal breaker"
“Our agreement is for a shipment of poison. If it turns out to be anything different then we don’t have to hold up our end of the deal.” Tak says.
OOC: I think Tak and Shiv would think he's telling the truth from our insight checks.

Shiv gobbles up the jerky, it is great and he loves it.
"We await your decision with trepidation," Corpse comments.
