The missed shot by the first Kenku alerts you all to the presence of the four enemies. They all have bows out and shortswords on their hips.
The room is about 40 feet wide and 200 feet long, with what seems to be another large portion out of site on the other side of the staircase to the north west (the room makes an upside down capital L). A large amount of overturned and broken furniture block you from the Kenku, and you will have to go around and skirt the wall 40 feet away to get around to them.
The order is Whit and Kaivus, then Odrith and Chalk, then the Kenku.
As the bolt whizzes by, Whit lets out a startled cry and dashes towards cover, and fires a shot back towards the Kenku with his crossbow. "Cousins of yours Chalk?"
The shot hits one of the kenku in the shoulder, the bolt sinking in deep as it cries out in a squawk of pain. It staggers, blood pouring from its shoulder, heavily wounded but still standing.

Kaivius watches chaos descend around her. One kenku lets off a frightened shot, but it misses everyone. Whit quickly fires back with his crossbow which wounds a kenku, most likely mortally.
"Did it ever occur to you that these creatures might know something about what happened here?" She turns to the kenku. "Friends, please lay down your weapons. We are trying to find someone who was kidnapped and our trail led us here. I beg peace, or else I'm afraid of the bloodshed that will ensue"
The Kenku scream out an angry squawk all together, but Kaivius does notice a hint of a tremor in one of their voices. It seems one of them might not be as keen to give their life to whatever cause as the others...

"Yes, blood shed will ensure." Odrith bellows, followed by a dragon born roar. "Lay down your arms and you will be allowed to flee this location; stay and I will crush your skulls under my flail!. Intimidate 7
2 of the kenku yell out together, eerily in Odrith's own voice "CRUSH YOUR SKULLS, CRUSH YOUR SKULLS, CRUSH YOUR SKULLS", seemingly unphased by the large dragonborn's threats. The 2 other Kenku, however, blanch at the threat and lower their weapons temporarily (they'll have disadvantage on their attack rolls).
Chalk surveys the other Kenku. Could they be from her home? The chants of skull crushing implied they weren't. Plus their plumage wasn't heavy enough. Still she doesn't want to injure them too badly. They could be useful as Kavius said. She pinches some sand from her pouch and tosses it in the air, scattering it towards the collection of Kenku. Maybe they'd be a bit more cooperative after a nap.
Cast Sleep. 18 HP of creatures fall asleep in 20' radius of the injured Kenku.
Three of the kenku pause, inhaling the sparkling sand as it blows across the room. One of them seems to seize up, before lifting her shortbow and firing at Chalk. The injured Kenku and one of the Kenku intimidated by Odrith crumple to the ground, out cold. The other Kenku, still focused on the Dragonborn, fires at him.
The Kenku firing at Chalk is still scared of Odrith, and fires straight into the ground, nearly hitting her own claw, scaring herself even more (she'll have disadvantage on the next roll too)
The Kenku firing at Odrith pulls back the bow with all his strength, and lets fly, hitting him straight in the chest above his shield.
Attack at Chalk: Critical miss
Attack at Odrith: Critical hit, 10 damage
After seeing their two friends down, the two remaining Kenku start to flee out of site to the back room to the left.
Whit pokes his head out, "Did we get them all?" Looking and seeing the state of his friend, "Odrith!" Whit exclaims and runs to him, crossbow still in hand and mutters "By the Traveler's many faces, Kaivius you have to help him!"
Once again, it's up to Kaivius to clean up the mess. Her friends went into the warehouse with bows blazing, and now Odrith has an arrow in his chest. It appeared to drive fairly deeply into his flesh, possibly nicking a vital vessel.
Serves him right, Kaivius thinks, maybe next time he'll listen to me before he tries to kill something.
Already she's making her way over to Odrith to examine the wound more closely. Somehow, the bolt had found a nick in Odrith's armor. Had that been there before? It was a pretty serious wound, but Kaivius was confident she could fix it.
"Whit, Chalk, make sure those kenku don't do anything while I'm sewing this dumb lizard up." She then begins working the arrow out of Odrith's chest while applying pressure with bandages.
Seeing that Kaivius has Odrith under control, Whit sets his jaw and creeps to peer around the broken furniture down the hall past the unconscious Kenku. Checking to see if the coast is clear before handling the bags of feathers of the floor.
While Whit was off watching for wayward Kenku, Chalk tries to deal with the two closer ones. They would wake up soon enough and she didn't want them to wake up and start shooting. The bows are kicked away. She would tie them up but there hadn't really thought about bringing any rope so she just settles for putting on a scowl until they come to. Chiming in with Odrith's, "Lay down your weapons," before shifting to Whit with, "Any idea what happened?"
Kaivus is none-too gentle with Odrith, pulling the bolt out a little more harshly than usual. The already long day made longer by his near fatal wound, she isn't happy with where the day went. Regardless, Odrith feels strength surging into him from Kaivus' warm, caring touch. He knows her scolding is more motherly than vicious, despite her doglike growls.
As whit peers around the corner, he sees more piles of broken furniture, but hears a door slam and quick footsteps receding somewhere outside. He notices this side of the room is also wrecked and the floor is slick with cold blood. While the kenku were found at the scene of the crime, he doesn't think they were the ones that did the killing, they were scared and fled too quickly. The two sets of guildmembers seem to have done each other in, and the kenku were sent to clean up.
As Chalk lifts her spell, the kenku wake and cower on the floor, despite the small bird's almost cute appearance. They hold their wings above their faces, shivering with fear and shouting above one another in different voices: In a deep voice with an orcish accent: “Xanathar sends its regards.”
In a thin, nasally voice: “Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!” and “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.”
In a scratchy voice: “No time to loot the place. Just get him to the boss.”

Everything had went better than expected. Chalk was glad these kenku were as talkative as she was sometimes. They'd been very helpful....if only she knew what exactly they were on about. "Nothing to see here," she says gesturing to the kenku, "Guild business." They were involved but only tangentially after all. "Xanthar" "Zhentarim" And then some nice slashing noises, gesturing to the bodies. "Follow the yellow signs in the sewers." She thinks on it for a moment before looking around. "Loot the place."
"Loot? nah, I think I am just going to lay here a little while longer, I'm hurting all over." Odrith says as he lays his own down on the ground. "Warn me if anyone else shows up." The words coming out muffled as Odrith lays the shield over his face.
