You continue along the road, which leads you slightly away from the shore. The cliffs are replaced by steep slopes and as you travel the wind that was keeping you warm starts to chill.
After a short moment, those on the camels reach a smaller, less defined path leading down a slope. Sharply to your left, not connected by a road, is the tower that had a light source atop of it. Now the tower is wrapped in darkness, standing silently about 90ft away from you. From the backs of the camels you can make out a barely visible light source, which quickly disappears at the bottom of the slope. The small path seems to lead in the direction of the light.
Kamos, Dhara, you are about 40ft behind the rest of the group. You can see the tower to your left, but due to the terrain, you can’t see the small path.
(Halhace, you need to attune to it, so you would need a short rest for that. But if you just concentrate on it now, since your camel is following Jaylens, and don’t do anything else, you can do it. Although you should be having a long rest soon which will also work – either way, you’ll have the stats for the next day.)
To the party "We could seek shelter in theater Tower, or we could follow this path here *Jaylen points in the direction of the path. There seems to be some sort of light source down there. What say you?"
(When the group on the camels stops, Kamos and Dhara wouldn’t take long to catch up. You are now caught up and can see the small path leading downwards, but there is no light source there now.)
Meep looks at the tower and then the path below, then back to the tower. "Tower is a lot closer. Meep need to eat. Meep not need to sleep. Meep watch you sleep.
"That us very brave little one. But you deserve a chance to rest too I think. We can take turns. If you watch us sleep, we can watch you sleep after. We should set a watch schedule and we can all rotate out and get some sleep."
"If it is safe it will be a much better place to rest then somewhere out in the cold." Halhace says from his camel. "Once we head in into that tower I would recomend that those who first go inside be ready for combat."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jaylen rides his camel to the tower, following the others. "Now stay here please. Who's a good girl" *rubbing the Camel's chin*

He will then dismount and draw his quarterstaff, casting Shillalegh on it, and wait for the others to either signal for assistance or that the coast is clear.
Going off the road, the camels are only a bit faster than walking, having to take the long way around certain holes and other slopes too steep for them to walk safely across. You get to the tower structure and dismount the camels. Jaylens’ mount lies down and lets him get off easily. The other two camels follow slowly and lie down as well, allowing Halhace and Meep to get off.
Jaylen, after you talk to it and rub its chin, the camel slowly gets back up again and starts grazing on the little dry grass there is nearby.
The tower is about 25ft tall with an open, but roofed, area on top. What seems to be a door is in front of you. It has been barred from the outside and it’s covered in cloth and leaves, all kept in place by dried mud and clay. Leaning on the right side of the tower is a ladder, leading all the way up to the open part.
Meep, as you get close to the tower, you can feel something heavy in the air, coming out of the cracks in the barred door. Barely noticeable, but something you would rather avoid. You have encountered it before in the deepest tunnels near your home. Whenever someone found it, you would close off the tunnels as best as you could so air would not pass through.
After dismounting from the camel, Meep barely made it to the tower before stopping himself short and simply staring off into his thoughts.
"Meep find nothing. Meep think town is best. We go now. Yes." The kobold would offer as he grabs for any kind of mud in his tiny hands to put against the door, then moves back to his camel
Halhace will slide off the camel and step towards the tower as he readies magic to be used as he quickly steps forward. "Still be prepared either way..."
Halhace will ride the camel now that is moving, aimply glad it had been docile enough to not throw him off when he rather clumsily climbed onto it.
(If he has time Halshce would finally like to study the staff enough to consider attuning to it.)
Jaylen sings a hymn of his faith as they travel. A song about how the weave brings life to all things, and we all return to it when we die.

(Yeah I'll have Halhace do that. If it is to much trouble on the camel he will do it before they take a long rest.)

(did kamos catch up with the rest of the group?)

Kamos starts walking towards the tower.

"Meep, you seem worried my friend. Is it just anxiety about the Hobgoblins we killed, or is something else the matter?"
Meep would turn to look at the human, "Not hobgoblin's. This way closed. Not safe to go.
