Such is the strength of the half orc that the iron door showers sparks as it grinds open. 20 feet away from you, in the southern region of a large rectangular room, five figures turn to regard you, alerted by the screeching sound of iron on stone as well as Dagons primal roar. A hulking tiefling barbarian wielding a ponderous greatsword, a sorcerer in the process of casting a spell, an aaracrokra monk, staff in hand, and a bard at the northern end of the room are engaged in battle with a grim beholder, half of its eyes locked on its current foes, the other half turned to contemplate these newest enemies.
If you wish to enter the battle please roll initiative.

"I believe this may be out of our realm of strength." Kic says as he looks through the open doorway. "But if we fight we fight together." readying himself for whatever the group does next.
As you watch, the sorcerer wraps the beholder in magical flames and it implodes, releasing a toxic gas into the room. It is no beholder at all, but a shape-changing gas spore, and the fumes just released by it could prove lethal. Three of the adventurers are caught in the thick of it, but the bard remains outside the area, and her expression is grim as she gazes upon you.

Dagon quickly hands the crowbar back to Humphry as the door bursts open, and hefting his greataxe the warrior looks into the room and surveys the battle at hand. The sight brings the half-orc's blood to a boil and his eyes widen alarmingly, wild with aggression. He quickly inhales a breath of the still fresh air around him, causing his chest to swell and his shoulders to square back, and with a terrifying menace in his countenance the marauder bellows a roar into the room that eclipses all previous cries he's loosed. Accustomed to throwing his challenge across the wide open expanses of deep woodlands and mountain ranges, Dagon's savage call embodies all of the untamed and ferocious aspects of the uncivilized world. In that moment he is truly a predatory creature, and his hungry eyes have just landed on wounded prey.

As the sparks start to fly, the cantrip in Humphry's hands twitching to be released finds its mark. The gnome spots his target, the large demonkin. Humphry releases Chill Touch with a yell, and a skeletal hand apparates in front of the tiefling and reaches out toward them.
Spell Attack roll 13
Potential Damage 8(if the spell hits, the creature hit cannot regain any hit points until the start of my next turn)
Initiative 4
(Redact my attack if you feel like I shouldn't have been able to ready the cantrip and just join the initiative)
The tiefling has already fallen after inhaling the gas, and the hand, unsure of what to do, collides with the wall. The aaracrokra monk has risen to his feet and turns to face you, unharmed by the toxic fumes.
The room has a width of 25 feet and a length of 55 feet. Your opponents are at the southern end except for the bard, who is on the northern end. You have entered through the eastern route.
DM: Do we have a visible initiative order for all combatants, or are we gonna wait for your go-ahead? Either way is fine, just asking for clarity's sake.
I have created an initiative tracker which includes the initiative rolls of both groups, and I will call up each player when it is their turn. Right now we are waiting for the opposing bard to take her action.

The gas momentarily blocks your vision, so if you want to make your attack do it with disadvantage.

Are any of the other group close together?
After re-reading the posts I think the remaining three others are further than 5 feet apart.
Initiative: 17
The door bursting open, Perry would file into the room with the rest of his group, quarter staff in hand.
(Humphry remains undercover by the fountain where he was before the door opened)
They are roughly five feet apart, aside from the bard.

Oh well in that case... Kic would fly through the doorway up in the air within 60ft of the 3 clustered together and cast Ice Knife on the Monk.
Ranged attack: 18
Damage: 6
Ice explosion damage to everyone within 5 ft of target including target (Dex 13): 7
If there is any remaining movement (50ft flying) Kic would fly further away from the other group.
The human bard on the opposing team is the first to act in initiative order.

I will use that attack of yours when it is your turn in the initiative order.

Cool thanks. Also about how long and wide is the room?
