Forty minutes into your rest, the dwarves stop by. Their backpacks are full of supplies, and the two apprentices are sweating a bit under the additional weight of the two blanket-wrapped adventurer's bodies. "We are going to head back now. It might take us a little longer than you four to get back to town. Your elf-friend Theren said he will accompany us. Just repeat the steps you got here, in reverse: 2 hours march east, 1 hour to the northeast, and you'll reach the bay shore and be able to see the lights from town. You have the time to finish your healing break, but if want to get to the town bridge before sunset, don't dally too long... Thanks again for your work, and stop by the shop anytime we are open, when you are ready for the rest of your payment. With these supplies, I'll be able to finish my delayed work assignments and the money situation will improve."
After twenty more minutes, you are finished resting. You are patched up, took short naps, got a bite to eat, etc.It is mid-afternoon. As you are getting ready to march back to town, your group notices that there is a breeze from deeper in the cave. It has that same briny smell from when you were traveling near the bay... Those harpies set up their home in this cave, but you suspect they had another way of getting in this cave.

Further back in the cave, you see that a passageway opens up and continues going north through the hill. (It was hidden by a stalagmite and the natural curve of the cave.) The amount of harpy feathers and poop on the floor means the harpies used the passageway often. Froskan temporarily turns off his gem of brightness and you can see a faint dot of light (the light at the end of the tunnel). The passageway is uneven (easier to fly over instead of marching), and it takes half an hour to reach the other end.
Your group emerges from underground. There are tall trees and thick vegetation around you, obscuring your sight. This exit is in the side of a hill, facing north. The ground slopes downwards to the north, and you can hear waves crashing on rocks nearby (within a few hundred feet).
(OOC: You are well off the path the dwarves took to this cave, over a mile north from the other entrance. But if you can reach the bay, you know that you can follow the coastline east, and eventually you will reach town.)

(Sorry for the confusion. In post 1212, when I said the discovered passageway takes half an hour to reach the other side... your group went to the other side. I will add a map drawing, if that helps. The two "X"s are the cave entrances. The southern one is where you went in (and fought the harpies), and the northern one is where the party has just popped out.)
