Isk sees the stone and shouts, "Run for the stone, I'll cover our cover our retreat!" Isk will position himself 60 feet from the stone (if he isn't already that close or closer) and begin firing off Eldritch Blasts into the horde of skulks. Once the last of the party reaches the stone, he'll use Misty Step to teleport back to the group.
(OOC: No check needed. When there is a lot of stuff going on, I want to put in a break, in case the players decide to do something I wasn't expecting. Running for the landing spot and activating the return crystal is fine.)
Once the entire party is on the slab, inside the teleport circle drawn on the stone, Reverie pulls out the hand-sized rod of clear quartz. She repeats 3 times: "There is no place like home."
Nothing happens. The skulks have circled the group and continue charging towards you... Reverie smacks the crystal a few times, and repeats the chant. This time, darkness swirls around the party, and after a few seconds, you are all back in the temple of Oghma.
Bishop Theo (the high elf, last seen in post 2850) is there, and pleased to see you. "My dear friends, I am glad to see you safely back from that dark place. I trust the mission went well? Doing the work of Oghma is demanding, but rewarding."

Froskan lets out a sigh of relief as they appear back in the temple, then collapses to the floor and just lies there breathing heavily for a few moments.
As soon as she sees Theo, Reverie flops onto the floor and catches her breathe but still holding her scimitars on both of her hands. "Surely, we are EMENSIVELY glad that we got here." She speaks as she looks around her friends. "Are you all right, Froskan?"

Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
Free from the Shadowfell, Isk seems to relax for a moment. He face softens and breathes a sigh of relief seeming to feel better.
Then his eye twitches and the corner of his mouth pulls back into a grimace. He brings a shaking hand to the side of his head as he shuts his eyes tight to try and stop of involuntary spasms pulling at them.
"It is great to be back, " he says between the pain spasms, "but I really need to rest. I am still feeling the effects of...of whatever the sages did to me."
Everyone give me a check, either an Insight or Arcana.

"I am not entirely sure. They said my glaive had a history, a dark power behind it. Not evil, per se, but hard to control. They let that power out and I am still feeling the aftershocks of that." Isk says and wipes a bead of sweat from his brow, "I believe I'll be ok after I get some rest."
Reverie frowns at the sight of Iskander’s condition, and then looks back at Theo. “Would you be able to show some kindness for us to rest here? Everyone just got out from the Shadowfell and one of us is definitely showing the aftershocks. We could go back to our place but it would be better for us to rest a little before we go.” A pause, “Or would you be able to check on our friend’s condition?”

Theo: "But of course, my friends. If you follow me this way, there is a private room where you can rest, and the healers can take care of you. And you can tell me all about your heroic feats." He steps to a doorway at the side of the chamber, and motions for the party to join him.
Spoiler for Reverie and Jack only, please:
Iskander is still suffering some short-term madness in the form of tremors and sweating, but maybe a night's rest will fix that.
On the other hand, is Theo drunk? Before you left, all he cared about was the book, and treated your party like something he stepped in with his good shoes. But now that you are back, he hasn't asked once about the book, and he is suddenly your best buddy.
Spoiler only for Trimyrai (since he tried) and Froskan:
Froskan had his magic lantern closed. How did you see all those Skulks coming at you?

After a glance to Jack (giving him a look of ‘suspicious about Theo’) she looks back at Froskan and Iskander. “Come on, we should let you all rest for a night,” she says as she helps Froskan to stand on his feet and then follows Theo.
