You wake up the morning of the 1st of Winter Firstmoon. The dining room is rather empty, as pretty much all the patrons are outside sampling from street vendors and food carts. It is a warm 45 F, but you notice that everyone else is carrying along more layers of clothing (hats, gloves, extra coat), so you do as well.
The food carts are still mostly local recipes (heavy on products from the bay: fish, snake, scallops, marsh vegetables), but there are dishes from the northern Squall Mountains (wild game) and vegetable dishes from the south (Brokentooth Forest and the city of Nunkreet).
Around 11 am, you cross the river and climb to the top of a broad hill. You can feel a colder breeze coming from the south. The sky is clear, but you can see a mass of clouds (the same size as the width of your hand if you hold your arm straight out) over where Nunkreet should be. It is getting visibly wider and thicker. (Can't see the city at this distance, due to the curvature of the ground.) You overhear parents telling their children about Snowfall. The druids and clerics in Nunkreet appeal to the weather gods for 3 days of snow, starting at noon today. This weather pattern will also cover Greensville. This leads to 3 days of games, feasting, and celebration of the start of winter.
At the top of the hill are several make-shift ferris-wheel-type rides, 100' high, made from immovable rods, gondolas, iron cables, and cranked by stone golems. People are paying 2 SP to get high enough to see the city of Nunkreet from this distance, and to watch the gods-controlled snow falling (after noon).

“Sounds like fun, no?” Jack pulls out his drums and, for some reason, is wearing his armor to the festival. He holds up his drums.. “Can never be too careful. Either way, maybe I can finally break this bad boy out.”
Iskandar's face look quite different than it usually does. Usually, he has a serious look softened by his celestial heritage, but here in the festival, surrounded by all kinds of food, games, and merriment, he face is practically shining with excitement. "I love festivals!" He says, "We should start with the food, always good to try a bunch of food early, so that you are ready to try a bunch more food later."
Reverie laughs a little as she sees some excitement from her companions. "Are you sure you'd wear an armor, Jack? It's a festival." Then she pauses. "Too many foods wouldn't always be so good, but I think trying a food first wouldn't be so bad before finding a contest or a game."

Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
Jack seems less active than the rest of the party, moving slower and needing to stop frequently for rest. Even though he will have to sit out a few games/rides to catch his breath, he still makes it through the day without keeling over.
The air temperature is just below freezing now, but the lack of wind makes it feel a bit warmer. The clouds in the sky are impressive, as they rapidly spread out from the south over the city and move over Greensville. (Think about movies where they do time-lapse of storm clouds to emphasize the movement. And now imagine seeing the time-lapse images occurring in real time.) By noon, you can see bright sunlight in the distance to the west, north, and east. but overhead are thick, dark storm clouds. The snow comes down, heavy enough to accumulate on the ground but not enough to stop people from moving around. Within the first hour, the surrounding land is already covered with a blanket of white. (The walkways are occasionally cleared by Unseen Servants or similar magic.)
Your group skips the make-shift ferris wheel (you have travelled more than most of the townsfolk anyways), and have concentrated on sampling as many different foodstuffs and beverages as your stomachs allow. You also try a few simple carnival game booths (ball toss into cups, strings on sticks to fish tiny wooden chests out of a "pirate" water tank, "bingo", and so forth). There are also rides, like the carousel. A popular one is the drop tower, where the riding car gets feather fall just before reaching the ground.
As the day goes on, these simple games, while amusing, also get your competitive juices going. Don't they have more serious games? You find a larger tent with sign-up sheets for different competitions and activities, which will occur the morning and afternoon of the next day of the festival. Looking over the offerings, Iskander, Reverie, and Trimyrai find activities they want to try, and plunk down 10 GP apiece. Froskan and Jack look interested, but are spending more time looking over the various sheets.

Froskan and Jack find contests they want to try, and sign up... Your group enjoys various offerings for dinner, and then go inside the inn for beverages. The snow continued throughout the day, and is getting heavier after dusk.
You wake up at dawn of the 2nd of Winter Firstmoon. The sky is mostly clear, the snow has stopped, and the temperature is just at freezing. The ground is covered by a thick, heavy blanket of snow, averaging about 2-3' thick. Your party travels as a group to the festival grounds south of the river, but then split up for the five different competitions you've signed up for. The games take up the rest of the morning, and (after a brief lunch break) most of the afternoon. As the sun gets is closer to the horizon, your party has gathered again at the inn restaurant/bar. With hot meals before you and pitchers of various beverages on the table, you listen with interest as each person tells how their day went.
(Go in any order you like. When thinking about the length, remember that other members of the party have to read your posts. If you think of fun questions that might add some spice to someone else's story, this is a collaborative improv session. The party is up!)

Reverie chuckles sheepishly. "I played about four games of Dragonchess in the preliminary round. I wasn't enough to end up in the top four, unfortunately." Then she shrugs. "Well, to be quite honest, I haven't played the Dragonchess since I was a kid. I was more likely to want to become the Shieldmaidens of our family. But, it was fun for me. "Sounds like you guys did better than me," Froskan says, a bit glumly at hearing how well Jack and Trim did in their contests, though not actually upset at his own performance. "I joined the Ice Sculpting competition. Figured I should do well working with ice," he says with a grin, waving a hand at himself. "Turns out my nature and abilities were quite helpful - not needing to worry about coats or gloves and the like is quite useful for ice sculpting as it happens; and I was able to fix a few minor mistakes. Unfortunately, I'm not all that familiar with the actual tools used to create the sculptures. Nor am I really all that artistic. I managed to make it to the finals with the sculpture I created of a dragon, but a couple of the others were simply more skilled at the art. And, ya know, more practiced," he adds with a wry grin. "I did win my entry fee back at least"
Isk claps his hand on Froskan's shoulder. "It's ok, I didn't do well either. I wanted to partake the parade and so I volunteered to help the local orphanage's float team. They were just kids so the decorations were, well, I mean, they were ok. Pretty good for kids. I got the wagon looking pretty good, and I drove it in perfect formation with the other floats, but the judges weren't too keen on the kids' design. Heartless bastards, can't even give the orphans a break."
