Azrael looked around, taking it all in, before he noticed that several people seemed to be starting to mess with things, so he felt it necessary to remind them I hate to sound like a nagging nanny, but only one of us should be taking this risk.. I doubt there's a deathtrap in here. But consider if there is some form of mind control magic here.. the fewer of us if effects, the better. As we see depictions of the dwarf atop the barrel, perhaps one of our esteemed friends should try that, among other things. If nothing happens? perhaps we can have someone try the tap. if that proves safe? Then I will let down my guard, and let us all enjoy some much deserved rest.
In fact, as I'm being overly cautious today... if a dwarf standing atop a barrel proves to be harmless or otherwise have no effect, I will take the risk of the first sip.

I no longer am a Dungeon Master, for various reasons.
Azrael had no idea what Evrik meant by his statement but assumed it was a Dwarven thing, and left it at that. He took another look around the room with a slight sigh Unfortunate... However.. this place seems like a good a place to rest as any... Regardless of ale, or lacktherof. Perhaps if there is space, once everyone is ready, we can close the door we came through, barricade it.. just in case, and take a load off our weary feet? he would offer.
Then, walking over to Allesandra, walking slowly as he finally realized his dash had winded him just slightly. And perhaps you, I, and Evrik.. when he's done playing a game, can get together, and we can all pray? It seems I have things I require help for as well, so why not kill two birds with one stone? But I must admit, even if you were not needed, I am still disappointed you failed to join us. I.. understand you have your issues.. and I also understand you feel so many endless encounters would be tedious... but the deeper we go, i feel the more often, and.. more dangerous they will become.

Evrik turns from the door toward Az and the others and points back at the picture, "I just assumed that perhaps a dwarf on each side of this door, standing on a barrel, like the one in the picture there, might be of use. But uhm..."
Walking back toward the group he says, "But some time in prayer would be most welcome. And the rest would do me good."

Alessandra had been busy studying the four walls in this room (not three, four!) when Azrael had approached her. She gave him a look of slight unease at his proposal to pray here in all places, especially when he's around. It wasn't like she was standing in a church where he would stay away from her, he would be there, hovering over her like a predator to it's prey, and the simple thought of it made her want to throw up in fear.
If she surrounded herself with good people, would he refrain?
Alessandra sucked in a breath, trying to calm her nerves. "Sorry to leave you disappointed," She wasn't sure if she meant it, honestly, it was seven people against two enemies, the advantage was obvious, and for another two people to spill more blood? Pointless. Maybe at the lower levels she would participate more. "And I..." She sighs and lowers her head, slightly embarrassed at the next few words she was about to whisper. "I don't know how to pray."

Kinda hard for you to do wrong, Lyth. ;) There is a long hallway leading down to the next room towards the west. You can only go single file. Who’s leading you rugrats?

Evrik approaches the west wall and carefully examines one of old barrels to the left of the doors. (Investigation: 13)
He looks over at Lyth then at the picture on the doors and asks "Shall we play a game?"
