An arrogant high elf glares down his nose at you and Zaroc, as he polishes a mug in no hurry to assist you.
"Two prime rib with loaded baked potato on the side and 4 gallons of ale eh? I see... hmm... That'll be 3 gold pieces Rumple Stumpkin!", He grins as he reaches out an open hand in your direction.
The White Wolf hesitantly follows the rest of the group into the inn . He doesn't seem particularly comfortable with the idea, but he follows none-the-less. He stays at the back of the group, and since he's already rolled poorly for Perception, we'll just assume he's still staring at the floor.
A heavyset man with a deep voice, with a bit of a drunken slur, seated at a table to your right, blurts out rudely in your direction, "Well ook wut we has ear... I fought ey made va dogs shleep outsoid in ve shtables."
the table of men sitting with him erupts in laughter.
"Listen knife ear, I didn't ask for gold flaked chair or an ornate chandelier and I'm not paying that ridiculous price that suggests you think you've got one. Delusional you may be but an honest to god cleric of the mighty Njord will not be paying for you to insult him." The blood rises to Terrance's face as he starts to lose it. "I've had enough of you fairies thinking you can pull one over on me. Get me a good chair, a hearty meal and a reasonable price or so help me..." Terrance waves his hands beneath the desk as he rants casting a spell beneath the desk.fog cloud. An angry fog filled with mini bolts of lightning starts to fill the air behind him mimicking his rage.
Calm down little fella... it seems you know your prices. Should have known you were quite familiar with the going rate of food and ale given your racial handicap. Very well, 2 gold and 4 silver, and please... no smoking at the bar thank you very much.
@The White Wolf
A soothing female voice to your left, "Dont mind that numb skull dear. He is nothing more than a useless bully. Welcome to The Dusty Ox. May I take your cloak for you?"
"RACIAL HANDICAP!" Terrance damn near explodes, he slams the money down on the desk. "Listen mister, this better be your damn near best meal or I won't be the only thing smoking." The fog cloud rises to just above his head before he storms off to go sit angrily at a table with the fog cloud following.
Briar does not follow her companions inside the Inn but hangs back then when they are inside she goes around to the left side of the establishment with the overhang that looks as if it is used as a stable looking for the poor low-class stable hand likely to be employed and most likely sleep.
As Briar approaches she breaks out her Viol playing a tune to announce her presence a friendly smile on her face.
When she catches sight of any stable hands she will smile and say, "Hello, I'm Briar... my um employers are inside patronizing your fine and noble establishment and I was told this would a more suitable place to await them. I hope you all enjoy some music, does anyone have a favorite I could play?"
If she doesn't see anyone working she find a spot in the corner of an empty stall and lay down in the hay...
Ducolis will push Terrance aside and say"I apoligize for my assosiate. Could I get some rooms for tonight. If possible me and my companions would like to get to comfortable beds in 2 seperate rooms please and make it quick, I do not like to be kept waiting."
Zaroc, although not as offended as Terrence, squints his eyes, points two fingers at his own eyes and then at the bartender as he moves backwards towards the seats.
To Terrence "Thank you sir! I'll make sure to return the favor someday, likely soon. Dont pay him too much attention, theyre all like that around here" (Although he has elven friends, Zaroc also knows many racist elves)
In a much more respectful tone, "Arannis Nightbreeze at your service sir. No worries about your little friend, i am quite familiar with his kind." He then yells from his place at the bar situated in the back of the room, to the lady in the front left area who tried to take The White Wolf's cloak, "Miri! Get over here and assist this man!"
He looks back to Ducolis, "My sister handles all of the room transactions, I manage the bar. Can I get you any fine food and drink or will your dwarven associates be doing enough eating and drinking for your entire group?"
"Aye the arrogant, stuck-up, tree fondling, hippies don't know their place. Don't worry about making it up, what's a meal between new found friends." The fog cloud changes from a dirty black and grey to a clear white and starts to rise from Terrance's head towards the ceiling.
A 4ft tall skinny gnome boy scurries through the people and tables, ducking and running straight under one of the tables, stops at your table carrying a gallon of ale in one arm, and 2 mugs in the other. He plops them on the edge of your table and frantically says in a squeaky voice, "First of 4 gallons of ale, be right back with your food."
Before you have a chance to respond, he quickly darts back the way he came.
You find no stable worker, only a single ox, and a medium-sized scruffy looking brown dog.
Briar smiles and giggles at the scruffy looking brown dog and gives it a courtesy, "my what a pretty boy you are, all alone are we well have no fear Briar is here to keep you company,"she walks over to the ox and runs her hand over its coarse hair giving it a loving pat as she looks about for nice spot out of the way somewhere, in a corner up in a hayloft, etc., piling up a little lay and laying down to relax to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet.
A beautiful, brown haired, half elf, with eyes like the sea, pops up on your left side, "Hi, I'm Miri, what a pleasure it is to have you and your friends here at The Dusty Ox! How might I be of service?"
Briar drops the bit of hay in her hands and turns at the sound of the voice and offers the person a friendly smile, speaking in a polite and respectful manner, "Hello sweet one, I am called Briar, I came with a couple of half-drunken dwarves and their companions who no doubt you have seen if not heard. I was about to enter your fine establishment when I heard this beautiful dog call out to me inviting me for a tour of the stable... how could I not resist such an invitation. I do hope that is alright with you? I take it that you are the one responsible for the stable area here? I can see you work very hard at keeping it in tip-top shape! I've visited many a stable in my life and have to honestly say this one of the best I have had the honor and privilege to visit. And you are?"
If Briar is able to befriend and not get chased off etc. she will offer to help with any chores and such he may have come out to perform. So much for a quiet evening but a little work no doubt will put Briar more into the mood to fall asleep later...

The Wolf backs toward the exit, not looking at the drunken men or anyone at all.
He seems ready to bolt.

The White Wolf jerks away from whomever's at his left, then quickly reroutes his movement so his back is to his group, rather than the drunken men.
He tightens his grip on the cloak wrapped around his skinny frame. "N-No thank you, please."
"RACIAL HANDICAP!" Terrance damn near explodes, he slams the money down on the desk. "Listen mister, this better be your damn near best meal or I won't be the only thing smoking." "At least the service is good" Terrance says to Zaroc before starting to drink ... HEAVILY. (Like a dwarf)

"Alvyn, have you fed the animals for the night?"
"N-N-No Sir, not yet sir."
"Well they wont feed themselves now will they?"
"No Sir, I will Sir."
"Now Please!"
"But the dwa-"
"Now!"
"Y-Yes Sir, right away Sir."
The gnome scurries to the front door and out of the inn.
@Briar
As you pile up some hay to rest on, you hear a squeaky voice behind you, "eek, Goodness me! W-W-Where did you come from?"
Given that the 'back to his friends' technique isn't working out, the White Wolf looks around for a safe place to settle.
Perception: 11
His jerky movements slow however, as he witnesses the interaction between bartender and servant.
