"Perhaps those crystals are weighing down your thought processes boy... This is no cloak in question, it is the legendary Robe of Stars and i can assure you, it is being well guarded now, especially after THAT FILTHY PEASANT WHORE TRIED TO STEAL IT!", he raises his voice in Briars direction before spitting again. Looking back to you in a rude sarcastic manner, "And no, I have no knowledge regarding the whereabouts of the little brat. Hopefully she has found the cold belly of a python to spend her days in."
Zaroc runs the the center of the group, growls loudly, spins in a circle, and then does a point towards the inn where he detected the villagers (the dog kind with one paw raised, their tail straight and nose pointing in the direction he wants them to look) in an attempt for the rag tag team of companions to realize that they might not be alone soon
The White Wolf rests his bloody and glowing left hand on the man's shoulder, looking into his eyes for a moment. "Peace, now," he murmurs, in a way that hopefully conveys 'maybe calm down and stop aggravating these murderers.'
Briar continues to sit back away from others, hearing her attackers words and rude comments about her twin... she (Briar) had already come to the conclusion on her own that he has no idea where Bramble is or how to find her so does not even deem a response to him necessary and just ignores his comment(s). Content to let the others question him. However Briar does project her thoughts directly to Hanzo, 'you might want to consider searching his person and possessions... closely and thoroughly for any clues.'
As the mastiff spins and points, you begin to hear the voices of Royal Guards, as well as that blasted elf from the bar. They sound as though they are walking down the road, encroaching on your position.

Heading back to the group Terrance will say "Unless anyone's got a good excuse for us tying down this man I suggest we move away from the city and quickly I can hear the guards on the road!"
Terrance will move towards the White Wolf and the man, placing a hand on the Wolf's shoulder and the other hand on the ropes tying the man up. Looking for agreement in The White Wolf's eyes before he attempts to pick the man up and carry him away from the city, off-roading it if the group seem complicit.
Stength 16 (To carry the man or at the very least drag him, only if the wolf agrees.)
Ignoring the Mystery Man's suggestion for the moment, the White Wolf hesitates. "They'll find the blood," he says. "And it seemed as if he attacked our companion," he nods to Briar.
He glances down at the bandaged stump of the man's wrist. "We may have over-done self-defense, however..."

"Looks like we will have company soon, we should leave."and Ducolis will cast fog cloud and use gust to slowly push it towards the guards to buy time for the party to leave. He will also aid Terrance in carrying the snakeman.
Briar seeing what the Dwarf Terrance may be intending to do (carry the man and flee the city guard if she is reading the situation correctly) projects her thoughts to Terrance, 'you are not thinking of carrying and fleeing the city guards, are you? Do as you will but a crime has been committed, property (the ox) killed... the innkeeper will be looking for someone to blame, restitution to be made so that he is compensated for his losses. They will not give up easily and follow. You may wish to consider handing over the fellow to the guards with witnesses that he killed the ox and whatever funds he has on him, the magical blade alone will compensate the loss of an ox on its own. But as I said, do as you will but risk making the entire group complicit in the crime as later it will be less likely to be as easily explained away.'
Terrance will grumble under his breath "Need some bloody cucumber seeds."
Then think internally "Oh Miss Tapeworm I'm so glad your still in my head, it had been a while and I'd thought you'd gone. But look around, we've got five grown men of varies species who've tied up a lone man and cut his arm off. We hardly look innocent. Do you think those guards will come off the road, see how we are armed and simply question us. No! Humans have never been so understanding. It is best we hide ourselves for now and either explain matters when their blood has cooled or investigate this matter ourselves so that the root problem is dealt with. It is the nature of those beasts to hate what is different, I doubt we will get a word in before we are all clapped in chains and marched off to some dungeon. The only one of us they may listen to is a waiflike girl who they will most likely assume is hysterical and a victim of us five herself."
He will then turn to Ducolis and say, "Good to see that when push comes to shove you can actually be useful. The fog should give us an opportunity to hide ourselves before the fools try to arrest us for saving them."
The White Wolf looks uneasy. Looking between dwarf, dog, and Ducolis, he speaks rapidly, as he's fairly sure they don't have a lot of time to discuss this. "The innkeeper knows we were together. They'll notice we've gone. They'll find the ox in the stables, the tracks that lead here, and the blood here. They may be able to track us beyond the city." He doesn't know how great the Royal Guards' tracking is, but now's not the time to wonder. He dims the glow of the spell on his wrist. "If we leave the man, he'll blame us. If we take him with us, that's kidnapping as well!" He looks around wildly, and settles on Ducolis. "We're too easy to identify - we won't be able to come back to the city."
'True, the outcome is not clear but were you and several of your companions... were you not paying customers? Odds are good that the innkeeper would be more inclined to believe you over some stranger missing a hand accused of killing his ox. The innkeeper is a businessman, his concern is profit, he most likely will be interested in compensation and a guilty party to blame, city guards tend to listen to business owners who pay taxes so if he (the innkeeper) is satisfied with the outcome makes their job easier. It is the handless man's word against how many others... and of them how many are/were paying guests who went out of their way to safeguard and protect the property of the inn in which they were staying. Sounds like heroes to me but then what does a tapeworm know of such matters. Good luck to you and whatever decision you make, I have offered my counsel but the decision is yours.'
Briar collects herself still keeping her distance from the others ready at any time to either depart (flee) or remain and face things as the group determines.
