I have one for sure and a toss up between two others for the last slot. Meanwhile I’ll continue the story with the next post.

Perzival and Boran come up from shadows as well. They join the two of you around the braizer.
“More of you! How exciting for company. Alas, it has been quite some time.” He motions to the braizer. “Care to help an old one like myself get to the bottom of this cursed puzzle?”
Interested, the two of them approach. Boran goes first. As he gets close to the light, something seems off about him. He looks similar to Jemrosh right before he perished.
Boran, wordless, looks at you each, then pukes on the floor. Blood and innards spill from his mouth.
Then he collapses and goes motionless.
Horace makes a face of disgust “Another one, alas, bites the dust, he does.”
Perzival, shaken by this, investigates the body. Seeing no connection of the death to the briazer, and while expressing sadness in Boran’s passing, he makes for the braizer.
He puts his hand inside. Holds it there trying to pry the little chest out. He screams in pain. Seemingly unable to remove his hand from the flames, it slowly and magically engulfs his body in flames. He turns to white ash, as does Boran.

Grendal and Wander, from a little ways off, you hear a ragged laugh, then a scream. As you finish your fight with a grotesque monstrosity zombie thing, the clitter clatter of the constructs that seem like oversized spiders fades into the darker halls.
Coming closer to the sounds, if you dare, a light can be seen from around the corner. As you round the corner, you pass through a sort of invisible bubble too thin of sorts to have sensed on the way through. You feel it, but at that point it’s too late. No bodily harm becomes you...
But, whatever memories you previously just shared, knew, or held dear are suddenly faded from your mind, becoming harder to remember. However, you both know readily your name and a faint distant memory of this place and each other.
You know that you woke up a boat being propelled to an island. You walked from the beach to the place of the seven pillars, met the Dark Mother, solved the puzzle to open the Sea of the Dead, and began fighting your way to the Black Blade hidden within the temple within the parted sea.
Voices begin to echo down the hall toward your ears and a calming fire can be seen ahead (about 100 ft).

Wander will crouch low and slowly move forward towards the light. As he moves forward he will draw his shortbow and knock an arrow. He will use the light of the fire to see who is talking.
Stealth: 18
Due to my reliable talent feature that 18 is actually 25 since I can treat any roll of 9 or lower as a ten when I use a skill Wander is proficient in

Grendal will follow suit and stay low pulling two darts into one hand ready for anything that may come their way keeping to the front ready to help this ally he is with.”
“I fear our minds are being toyed with, keep your wits with you aye’.”
Wander, stealth is good for any monsters in the corridor. Grendel, lucky there’s not any monsters in the corridor.
As you both creep closer, you see three figures by a braizer about 50 feet away. They seem to be in conversation.Humanoid. Two look like seasoned adventurers like yourselves.

Grendal will walk up trying to stealth, though poorly, to see if they seem to be aggressive in anyway before introducing himself, though they probably see him coming.
(Would Grendal of met any other people whilst on his journey here, depends on how he would react to seeing people.)

Wander will slowly move closer but will contine to keep an eye outnfor anything strange. He will move close enough to try and pick up what theynare saying but will not show himself until he knows if the people ahead are a threat.
Wander, you come close enough to hear a body thump to the floor, then after a few moments white ash comes down the corridor kind of...sparkling in the dim light before passing by you. The moment after that it’s silent.
Grendel you would not have met them, but you do slightly remember Wander. Upon seeing the shapes of the humanoids, none look familiar. You too get sprinkled with some white ash as it makes its way down the corridor.
Alzaren, Odyssues. You can hear the scuff of boots down the corridor you just came from.

Alzaren grimaces as first Boran collapses for no apparent reason, then Perzival reaches into the flames and is consumed by them. "Well, that confirms that. NOT sticking my hand in there..." he says, then freezes momentarily as he hears a noise behind them in the dark. Spinning around, he casts Dancing Lights back down the hall where the sound came from, spacing the 4 lights out at 20 foot intervals to cover an 80 foot length of corridor with dim light.

Wander will stay still in his hidden spot, his bow readied. If the people ahead do anything hostile towards them he will let his arrow fly into the closet of the three.
Stealth to stay hidden: 18 or if lower then 10 on the die roll 25....
(Is there anywhere to actually hide in the corridor? Or is it basically just a straight hallway, at which point being lit up would reveal Wander either way, unless there's stuff in it to hide behind. Not to mention that I have darkvision to see anyway once I turned around)
Heads up I’ll be traveling quite a bit over the next few weeks. Might not be able to post much.

Grendal will look over to the others with a wide smile, those his eyes are wide like a deer in headlights. He will raise one hand and start to put away the knives back into his belt.
"Errrr... Hello umm... Friends... Colleagues... You don't look evil, I mean you no harm if you mean me the same." He says with a slight chuckle.
"I mean no harm as well, I am Odysseus, and who are you two?"
DESCRIPTION:
Odysseus is medium tall men in his thirthies, broad shoulders.
He who comes to know Odysseus describes him as rational, charming and religious even if there is a sparkle at the bottom of his eyes that talks about curiosity, will of challenging his apparent poor origins, will to go beyond
Luckily he is a sailor, if he remembers how to fish.
Now he is dressed in a wonderful full plate armor, a long pike and a mantel with stars painted on it
Wander will lower his bow slightly but still keep the arrow knocked and ready to fire. "Where is this place? Until now it has only been myself and the dwarf other then things that wanted us dead." As He speaks his voice sounds deep, lacking some of the inflections of a biological humanoid.
