Despite taking a significant amount of damage, in a matter of seconds, Aendar suddenly appear in the far side of the beach. The three skeletons that attacked him re-evaluates available targets to strike next turn.
Sheshka, despite her Orchish size, is surprisingly nimble! She ducks out of the way of two of the skeletons, but one rotted out cutlass manages to graze her. She winces for a moment "Or you could try pulling your weight around here, Aendar." , but that sneer curls into a smile as she brings her Greataxe to bear. "Looks like I've got a volunteer to help get my axin' arm back into shape!" She she gives a bark of a laugh and brings the ax down on the skeleton that just hit her!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lilyth grimaces as she picks up her mace and shield, getting up to dash towards the skeleton that managed to land a hit on Sheshka.

Before the last skeleton does anything, three magical arrows pierces through it. It stood motionless for awhile, then crumbles.
You are now out of combat situation.
After the six skeletons fall into bone pieces, you don't perceive any immediate threat in your surrounding. Only body of the captain and few iron chests lies around you.
Moments after the wizard brings the final skeleton to its demise, the group sees a male human stepping out of the shadows from the nearby edge of the jungle. He initially exited the dense trees and foliage in a full run with longsword drawn, but he quickly slowed his pace to a walk and sheathed his blade upon seeing that the skeletons had been destroyed. His hair is long, he is wrapped about the waist in a simple but finely-woven piece of cloth that reaches to his knees, and a crimson-colored cape hangs over his bare shoulders, arms and back. His left hand bears a perfectly circular shield that contains an emblem well-known to everyone...
...it is the symbol for the Threefold Sun. The fact that he carries this shield is an indication to all that he is, or was, somehow tied to being a warrior for the Sun Empire.
He halts his approach toward the group, raises his right hand slightly, and says, "Greetings. I see my help is not needed. Not at all."
The barbarian narrows his gaze, studying this woman and considering her less-than cordial response. "No one of significance,"he responds. "I am Zolin, and I've no wish to share the fate of those skeletons."
Now that he's a bit closer to the group, Zolin can discern that the four of them form a rather unusual alliance. There is an interesting story here.
"I heard the sound of battle and was drawn here. Well fought," remarks Zolin.Where did these four come from? The fort? Are they escapees? If so, how?
"Intentions?" echoes Zolin. "Eluding the Legion...staying alive...if possible, doing some good along the way." He surmised the words eluding the Legion carried little risk. Everything about him--his garb, his sword, his shield--proclaimed his allegiance to the Sun Empire and, therefore, his likely opposition to the Legion of Dusk.
Zolin wondered if there was something he might say that would put this fierce woman at ease. Truth be told, he had already spoken many more words than he was accustomed to saying in such a short span of time, and he had almost no confidence that he could accomplish much by talking. Strange. Why do I care if this woman, or these people, trust me?
Motioning toward the fort yet visible in the distance, the barbarian says, "If you and your companions are fleeing that place, then you've nothing to fear from me."
Cora studied Zolin for a moment. She couldn't find any malcontent or hostility from him. Yet. She lowered her blade, sheathed it expertly. "Then we all have something in common. Well met. I am Cora." She waved to the other women. "This is Sheshka, and Lylith."
Lilyth was ready to bash in that other skeletons skull, but it never came, as the arrows were faster than she could even swing her mace. With a grimace, she scanned for the cause, her eyes focusing on the man that emerged from the brush. Sun Empire. Of course. She didn't have a particular dislike of the Sun Empire, especially now, being an ex-legion member, might as well try to make friends with one of their people. No, not now, too much effort...
She let Cora do the talking, putting her mace back in its holster and shield on her back as her grey eyes scanned the chests that lay around them, still very intently listening in on their conversation. She bends over to pull the closest one near from her out of the sand and inspects it further. Is it locked? Can it be easily opened? Is it heavy or light?

Cora whirls in his direction, but does not lower her blades. She raises one up.
"Who in the Hells are you?" she says in her typical untrustworthy growl.

Cora didn’t look away. Still kept her blade up. “And now that you are here? What are your intentions, I wonder...?”
She cocked her head to the side ever so slightly. “Lilly. Sheshka. Check the chests.“
"Intentions?" echoes Zolin. "Eluding the Legion...staying alive...if possible, doing some good along the way." He surmised the words eluding the Legion carried little risk.
