Moving out confidently Lyreis starts to spin the twin blades of his scimitar through well practised movements, designed to confuse and deflect an opponent's attack. Facing off against the closer of the remaining minotaurs he stares it down, the lithe elf standing against hundreds of pounds of muscle without a trace of fear.
"You may only get the one chance, I suggest you make the most of it."
The huge minotuar snorts and roars at Lyreis challenge, raising his axe to smahs that puny elf that dares to oppose him.
Shallan runs towards the group and uses the magic that Seb and Kyne has been teaching her and fires a small bolt of rie to the minotaur that threatens Lyreis, but she is still too nervous to aim right and the bolt gets lost in the air.
The other minotaur tries to cut down the remaining guard, but the human manages to dodge it, splinters fly in the air under the axe's hit. The guard dares to smile, but the minotaur moves his greataxe quickly and hits him in the guts. The poor man spits blood but he is still alive.
"Hang on, bub!" Hurosk shouts to the guard facing the Minotaur. The hunter fires two more arrows at his target. The first sinks deep into the back of the minotaur, who coughs up blood as a lung is severely punctured. The second pierces the back of its skull and exits partially through the bovine snout of the beast.
The minotaur collapses with a thud as it's spinal chord is severed. Hurosk gives a little wave of the finger to the guard, who now stands in a puddle of his own piss thanking the gods.
The last of the minotaurs roars in rage at Lyreis's defiance. He sweeps his greataxe, trying to cut in half the reckless elf. But Lyreis sees it coming from a mile and just bounces his body a little bit back, allowing the edge of the axe cutting nothing but thin air. The creautre sweeps down, as the expert warrior was expecting. He simply spins over one leg and moves upward his own weapon, he doesn't even cut all the way up, he just let that the minotaur cuts himself trying to hit him. Still, a deep cut on his arm makes the minotaur roar again, this time in pain.
Lyreis smiles. This is going to be easier than he thought. The rest of the group start to look back to the helm of the ship were flases of magic can be seen and some winweg creatures seems to be attacking the people there.
But before they could really think on going towards it, or help Lyreis end the last of the minotaurs, the wooden platform that was covering the cargo hold literally explodes in thousands of pieces that go flying around.
Emergin from it, jumping towards them, there is a huge creature made entierly of metal. Its massive body is completely covered by an adamatine armor. It has a massive greataxe on one and the other arm ends in a huge longsword, both edges of the two weapons are already wet with fresh blood.
The warforged behemot is even larger than the minotaurs and he lands near Moltaris and Dworic, sweeping the greataxe in a big circle that gets both of them, but the worst part is taken by the cleric, who was thrown sideways, stumbling and letting her guard down so the warforged impales her with the sword in one side.
The great warforged laughs as he pulls out the sword, making Moltaris scream of pain. Dworic can see that his features are desgined as dreadfuel mask.
But their problems aren't finished with the adding of this new enemy, probably hidden in the great crate that the five minotaurs were carrying inside the ship a few minutes ago, as the other two minotaurs emerge from the cargo bay, determined to end the resistance the party has posed to their plans.
Kyne leaps back as the giant warforged bursts up through the deck. Reflexively, he lashes out with sparks from his fingertips, but the lightning merely dissipates across the thick adamantine shell. His eyes narrowing, the elf weaves an incantation of elemental fire energy, drawing the power from within himself as he begins to heat the behemoth's outer shell.
Pushing her staff forward, Seb'riel reaches out through the weave, just as she had witnessed Morlainne do that short time ago in front of the tower where she had been held captive. She summons forth ice to grip and hold the oversized warforged in place. Backing up as she does so, further from the action and towards where Lyreis is locked in combat with a minotaur.
Through the fog of time and divination, Seb'riel sees a bleeding, black-clad figure dart towards a colossal adamantine figure swallowed up in ice... she sees a spot just at the base of the creature's spine that is uncovered. The figure rubs her hand in their wounded side and plants it on the frigid metal, leaving a bloody handprint...
"jag förbannar ditt sinne med svaghet!" the woman cries out and the eyes of the warforged dim for a moment as if covered by a shadowy caul. Carefully staying close to Seb'riel, Moltaris tucks the cork out of a bottle of warm red liquid and quaffs it in three quick gulps. "Ahhh... almost as good as beer."

Jumping behind the immense warforged that got all of them by surprise, came the two remaining minotaurs. On of them run towards Hurosk and while the half-orc is able to dodge the horns of the creature by rolling to one side, that position leaves him in vulnerable to the two powerful and fast greataxe cuts that got him on his back and left side. The blood of the hunter stains the deck of the airship.
The other minotaur charges forwards towards Kyne, who doesn't have enough time to dodge it. He feels the two horns stan his flesh and all of a sudden the world is upside down when the beast throws him off the ledge.
Shallan screams seeing how the wood elf is thrown down, but Kyne's somehow Kyne manages to spin in the air and extends his left arm, hanging to the very edge of the platform and he feels a painful snap on his shoulder, but clenching his teeth he endures it and his grip keeps firm. He ends clinging from the edge not daring to look down, hanging just from his left hand while the right still holds his sword.
The minoatur doesn't pay attention to this acrobatic display as he has disposed of one enemy and focus on the next one, swinning his axe towards Dworic who can't avoid them for he was distracted, worried by his new friend fate.
With the heels of his boots kissing the edge of the deck and three monstrously large foes in front of him, he thinks the best bet is to get out of the corner. As Kyne launches from the platform by the might of these giants, he barely saves his own skin. Seeing his new friend in peril, he tries to use his stubby legs to rush around the platform to possibly help him and get distance from the enemies.
Dworic takes thee Disengage action and moves to H10
The flurry of activity on the other platform causes both Lyries and the minotaur he is fighting to pause for a second as they both look across at the carnage. Taking it all in in a moment Lyreis realises he might not have much help for a little while so throws himself back hard into the lumbering brute in front of him.
A pair of vicious cuts layer and the creature is bleeding heavily, the powerful muscles of it's chest a carved mess. "You should run while you can, you cannot win here." Lyreis baits his adversary, in the moment before he receives a retaliatory attack he shouts over at Kyne, "I thought you knew how to fly now!"

"Damned overgrown side of beef!" Hurosk shouts back to the minotaur that practically drove him to the ground. Knowing he can't stand toe-to-toe with these monsters, the ranger looks to regain the advantage. He quickly and carefully moves past the pair of "dockworkers", pushing aside one of their clubs with his bow as he hurries down the ramp to the deck below. He glares back at the one that attacked him and spits on the deck leaving a bit more more his blood on the dock.
Shallan runs towards Kyne, moving as fast as she can and throws herself to the floor of the platform, reaching for Kyne's arm and holding him, giving the wood elf a more solid point from wich he can rejoin the fight.
Lyreis can't help but look towards the scene where Shallan is helping Kyne and a small relief reaches him when he sees that his friend is not going down. But that split of a second cost him dearly, as the minotaur roars in defiance, and attacks him almost driven mad due to the pain and the taunting of the small elf in front of him.
Two demolishing impacts take the elf down to one knee, trying to reach for air. One deep cut on his left leg is really bleeding.
Muscles strain along the length of Kyne's arm as he reaches up to slam his blade into the wooden platform, grasping for Shallan as he heaves himself back up to safety.
"Thanks," he pants raggedly at her, grinning wildly despite situation. "I'm going to help Lyreis. Watch my back?"
Heat wells within the elf's chest and his eyes begin to glow like hot coals as swiriling fire wreathes his body. Glancing back at the frozen statue of the towering adamantine warforged, Kyne focusses on the ember that he has already ignited within the metal of the creature's outer shell, chanelling more of his own energy into it. However, the armoured carapce seems strangely resistant to the heat.
Turning back to his elven brother, the sorcerer takes up position on the far side of the minotaur to tilt the advantage in Lyreis's favour.
Raising her staff up towards the sky, Seb'Riel waves it in a circular motion as if whisking up the air, her eyes turns white as she channels the energy within the staff, forcing it's power upwards and calling down a torrent of ice from the clouds forming above. The strike around the helpless warforged, and the minotaurs at his side, pelting them and the ground too, lodging dangerous shards of ice into the walkway. She backs up further, hoping it will be enough to keep her safe.
The mighty swing of the massive beast hits Dworics armor and the sheer force of the blow sends him flying. The dents in his armor reassure him as to why he wears this bulky armor. With the wind knocked out of him and his other companions also sent flying he composes himself and takes a deep breath. The bull's relentless rage leaves him wide open to attacks and Dworic will capitalize on this. As the minotaur flails his arms wide Dworic sees the minotaur's chest left wide open and he takes his shot as another thunderclap roars from his maul. The minotaur reals from the shot closing off any opening as Dworic goes for a second swing hitting nothing but the hairs on the bull's chin.
Dworic stays in place and attacks twice, hitting the first and missing the second.
Lyreis tried and failed to stifle a groan as his wounds nearly dropped him, had it not been for a last gasp parry things could have been a lot worse, and he knew it.
Kyne closed in on the minotaur who half turned to the new threat, and Lyreis didnt need more encouragement, he pushed forward one blade leading and carving a deep hit into the creatures arm, causing it to release the greataxe with one hand.
Lyreis didnt even slow, the nimble elf charging straight up the haft of the axe and jumping up and past the minotaur at head height, the second blade ripping straight through the neck of the towering enemy. Landing next to Kyne he smiles, "Good timing, my brother" without turning back to the creature, who collapses to its knees as it tries to stem the flow of blood with its meaty hand. Failing, it falls to the side, crashing down with a heavy thud, its death quiet and quick.
"We should get back over there, they look like they need us." Lyreis darts off, towards the other half of the battle.
Hurosk, straining through the pain, reaches into his pack and quickly uncorks a potion. Downing the magical quaff, he instantly feel rejuvenated. "Nice one!"he shouts to Lyreis as he continues to put some distance between himself and the frontlines.
In rapid succession, two arrows are sent toward the one faced off against the dwarf. Both sink deep into the torso and the blood begins to trickle from the strikes. "Have some payback, you crazy bull!"However unsure if his target is the same that almost brought him low, he adds, "Eh.. You all look alike!"
Kyne nods in affirmation to Lyreis, chasing after his brother-in-arms.
"Come on!" The elf beckons to shallan with a wild grin. focussing on maintaining the growing inferno in the frozen warforged as he runs.
Feeling the mounting elemental energy surge within him, Kyne sheaths his blade, throwing two punches and a kick through the air as he jogs towards the minotaurs on the bridge. Each motion is accompanied by a blast of flame that knocks the injured creature back until it finally falls scorched to the ground.
Gripping tighter on the staff as she holds Kray in place, the ice creeps further around him, cracking just a little under the effort as she squeezes too tight on the weave. Reaching up with her left hand she pulls down the familiar divine energy from the sky, showering Kray's held form with holy fire.
The remaining minotaur jumps over the scorched body of his comrade and a firebolt flies over the place he was just a second ago. Shallan curses as she runs after Kyne.
The beast swings down his greataxe, putting behind it all the strength and momentum of his jump, and even with his double scimitar blocking it, Lyreis cannot avoid the edge of the massive weapon cutting a serous wound on his chest. He gasps for air, but the minotaur is devilish fast for a creature of its size, and he sees the greataxe coming up, meanecing to cut his right leg in half.
He reacts innmediatly and a mistical barrier raises between him and his foe. The impact of the weapon against it sending magic sparks aorund.
The elf can feel the strange markings on his flesh pulsing under his clothes and armor.
The minotaur grunts in frustration.
