Mathilda has been observing the elf and up close, it seems she was right to think that he and his friends seem a little out of place at this party, but what are they up to? She suppresses the urge to chew her bottom lip and maintains the polite smile of a waitress instead. The elf seemed careful not to make his connection to his two friends terribly obvious, could they be a group of thieves working a heist? In that case, she'd better grab what she can before the rich nobles are alerted. Unconsciously, she reaches for the small dagger hidden underneath her service apron, touching it to reassure herself.
Quickly dropping her hand, Tilda smiles at the female of the group.
"I'm sorry, I was wondering if you would like anything more to drink? Perhaps a few hors d'oeuvres?"
The woman's gaze makes her uneasy and she shifts from one foot to another. Did she see her steal that bracelet from the fat noblewoman earlier? No, surely not...
Molly stares at the human girl with concern and curiosity. Waving off any refreshment, she asks, "Is this your business, or do you work for one of the clients?"

You see that the two young men seems to be getting ready to leave the Sphynx. Following them before they leave the main ball room you hear one of them saying
"Let's get more and forget about her..."
Hurosk hustles back to Moltaris. "I think we be in luck with these two... Problem with the help here," he asks noticing the cleric still focusing her attention on the waitress.
(Resisting the urge to go up to the pair and going Scanlan on them... "Do you dream...? Are you dreaming it?" Lol)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lyreis prowls down the corridor listening intently as he goes, trying to hear Kyne's voice, trying the handle of any doors where he can hear nothing.
OOC Lyreis will only check doors where he can't hear anything and nobody else is about, he will stop and listen at the door where the two men went but won't open the door even if it is silent.

Silently cursing herself for lingering, Mathilda answers: "I'm with the kitchen staff, but I have not been working here for very long." She rolls and unrolls the hem of her apron, about to turn around and disappear off into the crowd, but her curiosity gets the better of her and she asks: "If you don't mind me saying so, you also seem... new to the Golden Sphynx? I would keep my distance from those two," she nods her head in the direction of the two patrons Hurosk is watching, "I've seen them, uhm, make a mess of things, so to speak. The last time they were here."
Molly nods. "We're new. Define mess - those two might be the fellows our employer sent us to find."

"Oh" she says " Gertrud goes to Burcu's place and get it for me of course " she explains smiling " I am glad to be your first in this as you are mine in other... things " she smiles.
"To first timers" she says and raise her cup and, looking at Kyne's eyes she drinks.
( If you drink please make a CON ST please)
Hurosk:
The two young men leaves the Golden Sphynx, leaving their masks and covering themselves in thik coats, and dissapears into the night and the fog.
Do you follow?
Lyreis:
You hear the two men talking among themselves inside the room they've entered, but you cannot recognice the words, for the walls and the door are thick and they must be talking in low voice. You hear, what it seems to be the sound of glass beign moved, perhaps a couple of cups beign filled.
You hear sounds of conversations in one room and clearly moanings from another. Luckily enough the room to the right of the one you think Kyne, seems to be empty. You open it and the door opens. Inside you find a very elegant and well decorated room with a wardrove, a bed with dosel and a small table and two comfortable chairs near the fireplace, wich is not lit, but the wood is there, ready to be used.
Moltarys and Mathilda:
You both notice that some of the attendants to the ball, that are nearby you, are starting to look towards you, wondering if there is a problem with the waitress, for the rest doesn´t even speak to the guests.
"Well, last time they were here, they had be escorted out and...", Mathilda notices that they are beginning to draw attention, "I will be happy to tell you what I know, but could you meet me outside in a little while? We're not really supposed to be chatting to patrons." She looks around, giving reassuring smiles to the other waiters. "Meet me by the servants' entrance," she whispers and darts back into the kitchen as if to refill the glasses. Quickly discarding her tray, she changes back into her own clothes, grabs her things and heads for the exit before anyone can ask too many questions.
Selecting a suitably sized piece of wood from the pile in case he needs a makeshift club Lyreis stays in the room, listening by his own door which he leaves open a crack to help with this.

Molly nods to Mathilda and murmurs, "Be on your guard - something foul prowls the alleyways of this place." Turning back to the room, she picks one person who was looking at her and glares at them until they blink away. Then she moves to the majordomo, collects her things, and sweeps out and towards the servant's entrance.

Mathilda waits outside for a brief moment until the female guest appears with her half-orc friend. She takes a deep breath and then quickly explains: "As I said, I've not been working here for very long. I'm not originally from here and have spent the last couple of years travelling with a group. Anyway, those two have been here before and had to be escorted out because they got violent and were threatening other guests. I've heard the other servants talk of this new drug and that some of the guests are using it, but I've not seen it myself yet." She draws a circle in the dirt with her foot, before continuing, "sounds like nasty stuff, if you ask me. Doesn't do anyone any good to try and forget about your sorrows like that, I've seen that often enough."
"Now what's going on with the waitress?" he ask Molly.
"She is more than she seems - She knows about the Red Dream. Now is she trustworthy? That's a different question. But the drunkard who pulled us together didn't seem too worried about that..."

"The drunkard who pulled you together?" she asks and her eyes light up with excitement, "so you are adventurers? I knew it!" Mathilda is slightly intimidated by Molly's appearance and her distrust, so she adds sheepishly: "Not that I was watching you or anything."
"Burcu silly " she chuckles and after drinking her wine she jumps over Kyne. She is quite strong for a girl of her constitution and quite agressive. She doesn't seems to get tired.
Lyreis:
You hear laughs and moans from the other room. It seems that Kyne is having a good time and has everything under control.
Mathilda, Molly and Hurosk:
The half-orc can't see the two men but he can hear them walking towwrds the direction of the docks. He think he could track them if they hurry.
Then they walk over the other side of the building to reach the right side of it where the servants door is and where Mathilda is waiting for them. The left ally is a dead end and where they saw the creature.
Molly grins in agreement. "Some of us are adventurers. Some of us are hunters. Want to help us find those troublemakers?"

At this point, Kyne would really like to know who exactly this Burcu is and where they are to be found. However, Khalistraax doesn't seem to be in the mood for further talk.
He indulges her appetite, and to say he doesn't enjoy himself would be a lie, but at the same time his mind keeps returning to his newfound companions. He doesn't wish for them to think he has abandoned them, or that he doesn't take their task seriously, and as such endeavours to satisfy his partner as quickly as possible.
(OOC - We'll just skip over this, yeah? Unless she's going to get any more talkative, I doubt the details of the rest are integral to the plot... scene fade to black)
OOC: LOL depending on her appetite, we could get up to a lot of shenanigans out here while you're in there!!
