"The fates conspired it would seem to bring us together, or it may have been a fey with an interest in saving the world. But yes, Moltaris is correct, we have only just found each other, just as we have now found you." Lyreis smiles looking over the group "I feel a great deal of talent and power here, I think we could manage great things together, let us see what the future holds."

Kyne winks at Mathilda, as Moltaris mentions his name.
"I was sent to meet them here in Delethorn. What were you doing here by the way?"
He asks this tongue-in-cheek, knowing full well what the others have told of Mathilda in their tale of the night before, before her arrival at the inn.
When he hears Lyreis's word he smiles warmly in kind.
"Agreed. I'm happy to be working with all of you."
The group decide to walk casual towards the direction Burcu said to them.
The fog has lifted by the time the walk out the inn, and the streets are full of activity, the first sailing boats seems to have arrived with fresh fish and a lot of traffic occurs between the docks and the center of the town where the fish is sold, near where they are.
They leave town without any issues and the guards barely looked at them when they crossed the gates.
They walk with a fine temperature and the sun ocasiionally blocked by passing clouds. The outskirst of the inmense forest they were just a day ago can be seen to their right and the lake at their left relfects the sun. After a few miles they reach the groove they were talked about, and Hurosk as no trouble finding the track that serpents trought the trees, going towards the lake. They are close now.
"I'd been travelling for a while before I got here and decided to stick around" Mathilda shrugs and then continues with a mischievous grin "so many rich folks at the Golden Sphynx, I was helping to even out the distribution of jewellery a little... You know, some people have so much, they don't even notice."
As they approach the trees, Mathilda slows down, surveying her surroundings carefully. "Maybe better to stick to the shadows from hereon out?" She steps into the shade of a nearby tree and moves stealthily from now on. A few steps in, she notices something gleaming in a patch of sunlight and picks it up. It is a small golden ring, which she stashes away quickly.
Kyne nods and follows as best he can, though he has trouble following Mathilda as she vanishes into the woods. It's quite clear that if she wanted it, he wouldn't be able to find her at all.

Molly listens quietly to the banter of her companions as they travel. She holds herself aloof, a little distant. Companions wasn't exactly a word she was accustomed to thinking about. How long has it been? Ten years? she asks herself. Hard to know for sure... who counts the years when you're living day to day? Flickers of memory flash past her mind's eye... her priestess mother - so lovely and strong... until the Dark Times came...
She shakes her head and swallows, squeezing her eyes shut hard to block away the memories again and focus on the business at hand. There's a monster at the end of this road - and that monster doesn't know that death is coming for it.
Molly flanks out on the other side of the path from Mathilda, watching for danger.

Hurosk stops and sniffs at the air. The symbol of Dol Dorn, a tribal mark of a sword and shield, and the mark of his house shimmer on his forearm as he moves through the trees towards the lake.
The party moves with caution and silently among the trees, they keep about five feet to each other, covering their flanks and each companion looking for at least two more.
The track has clear foorprints, indicating that there is usual traffic on it.
For a second, Molly and Mathilda hear a faint giggle, sublte even that the faint breeze that comes from the lake. They both think that their minds had played a trick to them, but still.
No time for second thoughs, for they are reaching the house.
They can smell the wood burning before seeing the clear smoke that raise above the trees, a hundred of yards ahead.
The stride to their left, making a cricular approach to the house and they finally can see it. It is between the trees, with a space cleared around it, but not a proper clear. The house is just 40 feet from the lake bank and has a small dock with a boat tied to it.
The house proper is made of wood, with the lowe part covered, or made of stones and mortar to add consistency and aisle from the cold. It has one plant, from their side they see it has has a wooden porch and the main entrance looking to the lake. It's saphe is rectangular, with the shorter side facing to them and the wider one facing to the river. There is a window, with a wooden shutter closed.
The chimmeny is almost in the center of the back side of the building and the can see now the clear smoke rising from it. They, however do not see anyone around it.
Mathild and Molly can hear some muffled conversation inside, but they cannot discern the words.
Kyne is going to continue his approach, but both Mathilda and Molly stop him. They point to his leg and he see a thin wire that he is about to break, between two trees.
They recoil a little bit, without losing sight from it and prepare to make plans.
Kyne holds his breath for a second as both girls throw an arm in front of his chest to stop him. He freezes and exhales slowly as he sees the wire, pulling his leg back.
"So," he begins, once they are a safe distance away. "I could just blow the place up, but I get the feeling we might want to find out a little more about what is going on inside. How about we trace those traps to their source and go about disabling them?"
Hurosk continues to scan all around them. He nervously looks behind as the others watch the house ahead. "You know, I figured there would be more of a viable presence. Though I guess if no one has ever challenged them they could be feeling confident holed up in there... That could be an advantage for us."
"Watch where you tread!" Mathilda hisses, momentarily forgetting her shyness. "I can hear voices inside, just about. We have to be careful and stay low so they don't spot us from the window. And not run into any further traps!" She gives Kyne a pointed stare, but then remembers herself and whispers, less confidently: "Otherwise we'll draw their attention and that could end badly, right? Following this wire seems like a good place to start, yes." She turns to Hurosk: "Maybe they think these measures are enough to alert them to intruders, maybe they the guards are off doing something else... you're right, it seems odd."
Mathilda crouches down and carefully disables the tripwire, working swiftly. Her quiet concentration the sure work of her fingers show that she has done this many times before.
"The dealer said this man was a mage of some sort, magical defenses seems likely." Lyreis watches carefully as he moves with the others. "If they are already aware of us then they.will be choosing the right place to strike from, be on your guards."

Kyne hovers over Mathilda's shoulder as she works. Several times he begins to open his mouth to offer advice, but stops when it becomes obvious that she knows exactly what she is doing. He leans back against a tree with his arms folded and an amused expression on his face.
"Nice work. Fast work. I know a few tricks like that myself, but you put me to shame. Maybe we can work together in future."
(OOC - Wasn't important here, but the check gets advantage if another character helps, right?)
Mathilda confidently cuts the wire next to one of the trees and she is about to smile back to Kyne when she realizes that she was too hasty and the two sides of the wire had sprung away and are now lost in the foliage, and the chance to learn more about the nature of the trap is now lost.
Hurosk does see movement from inside the house.
The front door opens and he sees two men walking out. One of them carries a big greatsword on his back and even he is a bulky man, hurosk can see that he limps slightly from his right leg. When he turns to talk to the other man, he also sees that a big scar crosses the right side of his face, going up from the neck to the temple. The other one also has weapons, he carries a metal round shield hanging from one shoulder and a mace at his hip. He also carries a leather backpack on his right hand. They walk towards the wooden planks over the lake and head towards the boat.
Molly bounces slightly on the balls of her feet, ready to spring forward when the two men leave the cottage. Realizing that they both look like muscle, though, she settles back. "We need to do more scouting - we don't attack until we know where the spellcaster is."
