“Well, we are not strange to magic problem is... one of our last... clients... wasn’t as... kind as you are and she... cursed out beloved ship. We are trying to keep her in shape but we fear we have to abandon our beloved ship soon. That has put the crew a little bit tense about magic users as you can understand... that’s why I ask you to be... discrete...”
"Tell me more about this curse," Moltaris instructs the captain. "Perhaps the Bright Mother will allow me to remove it."

”I appreciate it but.. she, for some unexplicable reason was very disappointed with us... and she, just before leaving, said something like... May your ship rotten and sink into the bottom of the ocean.... but the rumors saying that we came to this lake to avoid the curse were totally wrong... it was just that our business brought us here”
"Perhaps you should allow her to try. Might be you can avoid the fate I saw ahead of you." Seb'riel absently chews on some bread, her voice is gentle but high pitched again.
"Perhaps, we might be able to help you. If Molly and Seb can ascertain whether your ship is cursed, and remove anything they might find, could you help us with a voyage across the sea? We will be in need of a ship."
"We've handled a vampire," Hurosk boosts, "getting rid of a curse for you sounds like a walk in the park."
The half-orc returns to his food. He finishes a mouthful of the fish and begins rubbing his jaw. He leans over to Molly and asks in a low voice, though without much concern "Your mouth tingling any?"He reaches for another serving before getting an answer.
Seb'riel looks up from her food which she is still poking around and nibbling at, a little more interested now. "I think I should like to help, I would rather this boat did not sink whilst I am on it. Curses can be difficult to remove, sometimes there are specific things that must be said or done as you try to lift it. Can you think of anything the woman said as she made the curse? The more exact you can be the better."
The captain frowns his eyebrows trying to remember.
”Something about that may you live long enough to see what you must love rotten and crumble as rotten your heart is... “ he raises his hands “I know I know... some hard words I still don’t know what we could have done to upset her like that... we kept our part of the deal and bring her to her destination after all...”
"Yes, as they say the devil is often in the detail - she clearly felt wronged in someway" Lyreis holds up a hand to prevent an immediate response "I cast no blame, but most people do not go around throwing curses about for no reason." The elf pics absently at the meal, occasionally staring at Ryn as if trying to understand her better through vision alone.

“Pretty similar to our agreement “ replies the captain “we agreed to take her to the next safest port and we did. I think it wasn’t what she had in mind but... we kept our part of the deal...” answers both elves.
Ryn seems absent from the conversation and she only truly put interest on the fish, wich she ate with delight. Now that’s over she seems lost on her thoughts.

Molly grins and replies, "Oh yeah. This stuff is potent."
Looking to the captain, she asks, "How rotten would you say your heart is, then? If your heart is sound and possesses integrity, this "curse" may actually be a blessing."

"My heart is pure gold my friends!! clearly the curse was intented to ruin our honest lives, and the rest was... let's call it literature..." he replies with a smile.
"Perhaps we should attempt removal just to be safe?" Seb'riel licks her lips as she thinks. "Perhaps between us we could attempt a ritual to identify the triggers and removal conditions. I am afraid the final spell is of a divine magic far too powerful for me, but I can certainly help to make it easier." She cocks her head to one side. "A creative use of some divination spells, bending them to our own demands could work. Perhaps ps giving us some clues as to what you will need for the final removal." She snaps her head towards Moly at the final sentence. "Then it will be down to you and to date from there."
"We're only trying to help you and your crew, Captain. Every detail you can think of could help my sister and Moltaris to save your ship from whatever curse might befall it."

Molly listens with interest, leaning towards the arcanist as she describes the possible partnership. "I do not have vast experience with breaking curses, so your help would be both welcome and appreciated, Seb'riel," she responds to the powerful elf.
"Well this happened at the city of Stormreach... don't know if that helps... "
"But you, captain, are not being forthright and it makes us worry that perhaps the curse was deserved. We want to lift it; indeed we suspect that that might be why you braved your crew's wrath to bring us aboard in the first place. Please believe me when I say that withholding details will only place us all in greater danger. We must know as much as possible before I plead with my goddess on your behalf."
The priestess stares blankly at the captain, her unwavering features leaving no room for nonsense.

"Captain," Kyne replies between bites of the delicious food, "why is your crew so fearful of magic? Mages are far from unusual in Khorvaire."
