Kyne stands near the edge of the ship, slowly circling his palms over one another as though holding a ball. Fire energy is hard to gather on water. The sorcerer relaxes when he sees the other vessel change course, and starts to slowly let go of the power he's been accumulating.
“Go for her gentlemen” simply says the captain. “perhaps we don’t need to lift the curse after all...” he says to Seb’riel when their ship turns towards the apparently abandoned ship and let their sails off to gain speed. But despite their efforts the other ship seems to be able to keep their distance and after a few minutes of pursuit, a faint fog surrounds them. They can still see the other ship ahead among patchs of fog.

"That's a fine ship, adrift in this waters that could be a perfect ship for us with just some minor repairs... so please " he adds looking at Kyne " no fire thank you so much. And in the upperhand there's no need to go hunting brokenhearted mermaids..." he says
Ryn looks at him with anger but before she could say anything all see that the ship seems to have finally reduced its speed and they are finally catching up with it, its silouette coming more clear in the fog.
"Five minutes ago you were a superstitious sailor... and now you want to commandeer a ghost ship?" The elf asks dryly, before bursting out laughing and slapping his thighs. "Well by all means Captain, lead the way!"
The sorcerer raises his hand to head height and clicks his fingers, sending a tiny pirouette of flame spiralling up, as though to indicate that he is 'disarmed'.
"Clever, clever, a trap to catch those you want, drag them to where you need them." A small smile turns the corners of Seb'riel's lips.
As their boat gives chase she, backs beneath the cover of the cabins out of sight from most on deck and takes a small bead of metal from her pouch and begins spinning it quietly. She is occupied for the next 10 minutes, making small murmurings and turning her hands over and over repeatedly as the metal bead grows and flattens, she returns, a giant floating disk behind her.
"You think you remember what I taught you this morning? Our time with solid wood beneath our feet may be coming to an end." She half sings into Kyne's ear.
"Uh, Captain?! Are you sure you don't feel like a fish chasing some bait here?" Hurosk says nervously as they enter the fog bank.
"Maybe the captain's dinner helping wasn't prepared just right," he says under his breath, turning towards his companions. He takes a finger and circles around his temple a few times.
Kyne laughs aloud, scuffing one boot against the deck as he swings one leg at the knee, feeling the air beneath his feet.
Solid wood... for now.
"Oh, I'm with you, Captain," the elf confirms with a melodramatic bow, prancing towards the side of the boat and peering through the fog onto the other side.
"If we are going, let's go. The longer we just sit here next to this thing, the more likely we are to die. A good plan violently executed right now is better than a perfect plan executed after the enemy is ready." Moltaris looks to the others, seemingly as ready as Kyne to leap across onto the ghost ship.

Hurosk shakes his head in disbelief as everyone seem eager to board the empty vessel. "We're actually doing this, huh?!" He chuckles as everyone else has made their way to the new boat. "Well, I'm not staying here alone." He kneels down once aboard and takes a moment to focus his senses to detect any monstrous threats below deck or lurking nearby.
The senses of Hurosk doesn't reveal nothing special around so he feels more comfortable passing to the other ship using the planks the crew has set to cross. The others are already on the main deck of the other ship when Hurosk finished his small ritual.
The captain says
"Well... let me check the helm you guys can go and do some exploring if you want... just be sure to account everything you find" he adds with a wink.
Kyne draws Daedagnir and hops onto one of the planks bridging the gap between the two vessels. With a flourish of his free hand, the elf produces a flickering orb of flame that rests in his palm, lighting the shadows ahead. Glancing left and right he takes a few steps in the direction of the open cargo bay.

"Well that wasn't part of our passage agreement at all," Molly grouses. "Good luck with that." Readying rapier and shield, she follows close by Kyne, guarding the pyromancer's flank.

Mathilda stays on their ship “enough scary things for me thank you” she says with a smile to Lyreis wondering if the elf warrior is going to cross or not
The warrior elf finally crosses the plank and join the others when he sees that Ryn goes to the other ship too.
Kyne approaches the hole that leads to the cargo hold and looks down. He sees a couple of barrels abandoned down there, floating in maybe a feet of water. Water that shouldn't be there...
The captain reaches the helm and picks the wheel.
As soon as he does so the ship starts to move once more. It veers going away from their own ship, the planks falling to the darkness waters below.
The crew yells and try to throw a rope to the ones on the ghost ship that start to move but the movement is so sudden and strong that they are too far away when they try to react.
The captain doens't makes a sound, doesn't move, he is just there, holding the wheel.
"Whoa! Who's driving this thing!"Hurosk easily keeps his feet as the two suddenly break apart. He lets out a guttural curse in orcish. He reaches for one of the ropes being thrown but it quickly falls away as the vessel picks up speed. "Looks like you made the right choice, Mattie!" he yells across to their rogue companion.
The orc turns looks to the helm and sees the captain apparently piloting the new ship. Making his towards the captain, he helps up those that may have stumbled. "Where we going captain? Just going to leave your crew behind then?"
The captain doesn't reply to Hurosk's comment but he can see that he is not moving at the helm with the hands on the wheel. Not moving at all. He helps Seb'riel regain her feet, and they can see how Lyreis is helping Ryn to stand too.
Kyne notices that they are gaining speed and... he could swear that the ship.... yes, it seems that the ship is sinking, slowly but steady, the ship is sinking into the water, despite or perharps due to, the speed it's gaining.

"I'll take a ghost ship over a rotten ship any day boy " replies the capatin to Kyne whispering.
You see that he isn't happy though, and that he is choosing between two evils.. hoping to be making the right call.
Finally both ships sail parallel, the speed reduced to a gentle course over the quiet waters.
The captain turns towards the crew, who watch between excited and worried to the bigger, seemly abandoned ship at their side.
" So who's volunteer with me to go exploring that ship? Maybe we are in luck after all gentelmen... "
