"I see but you do not have another destination? Another place to search for the answers that your dear friend Seb'riel is looking for?"he takes another sip "You must understand, for someone so close to her you seem to be very unattentive to her needs or goals, that's is... curious. Khorvaire is, indeed, a huge place. No a hint of where to? We are curious that an investigation from your continent have roots here, and viceversa. Perhaps our peoples aren't so different after all. Can you imagine? If you discover that our cultures have a common ancestry that could be... a mayor change in the way we see each other. "
Dworic looks puzzledly at the man in emerald robes and responds, "Whaur woods mah manners be if Ah declined?"("Where would my manners be if I declined?") He takes the pint and chugs it down."Fwoo, 'at was bonnie guid, but thaur ain' much tae ken abit me, sae lets start wi' ye."(Fwoo, that was prety good, but there isn't much to know about me, so lets start with you.) He stares at the man waiting to see how he introduces himself and explains the situation.
Hurosk rubs his neck where his mark is visible, disappearing underneath his collar. "Hurt? Oh, just when it first appeared. Burned something fierce, like a hot coal to my skin. You see, for those of us that seem to have the gift of the hunt, my people have a little trial that we have to go through when we're younger - a solo hunt. That's when it appeared for me. After that, nothing painful ever, but it has tingled - just a little warm feeling - on occasion."
The orc drains the rest of his mug of ale and gives it a shake indicating he'll take a refill. "I would say that's pretty accurate. Though, don't know how much guiding I'm going to do since I've never been here. So, I guess a map might be helpful then, yeah."
"I am of no consequence at all. Just a humble servant of the Exalted and Riedra." says while sharing the drink "You seem to have a pretty heavy armor. Are the lands of Khorvaire still dangerous? Isn't the hostilities of the war finished? " after the answer of the artificer he adds " Tell me. What is your role in the expedition? "
Kyne:
"Not here to think. I see. The rest of your party looks to you for leadership despite your efforts to look as a simple bodyguard to me. " he stops and smiles " I wonder why is that. We are just having a friendly chat..."
Hurosk:
"How interesting. " he says still talking about his dragonmark. The openness that Hurosk uses seems to make him ask a little bit further. " Does it react being near other of your House who has this... gift, or to another's?"
Talking about the map he nods.
"I will make sure that your guide has one and that you can take a look to it. Our roads are mainly safe, but there are still wild animals or beasts that could pose a threat to travelers. Do you want an escort too?"
"That seems unlikely," he remarks with a laugh. "Perhaps you are confusing skill with purpose. Seb... isn't really a people person. I keep the team motivated and give them direction. She tells me what that direction is though."
"I can't picture such a thing "he replies to her confession about being an orphan. "We do not have orphans here, in the unlikely event of a child losing both parents we find the next relative or even take are of the poor thing assigning a new family who takes care of the child as if its own. But I can... understand. So you didn't know your parents..."he makes a pause staring at her " How unfortunately. I am sorry. I've heard that there were an unusual number of orphans after the War. " he makes another pause before answering to her last phrase "And how do you know who must take the lead in each situation? " he seems honestly confused by this but he does his best to keep the composure " This is quite extravagant..."
Moltaris cocks her head and shrugs one slender shoulder. She thinks, "We take it in turns to be a sort of executive officer for the week,"and grins to herself, remembering an old vaudeville skit she saw, but doesn't say the line out loud. "We don't really have any rules around that - whoever spots the crisis calls it out to the rest and we react accordingly. Love and understanding seem to be winning out over rules and hierarchy so far."

Moltaris bows over the extended documents before accepting them. "I am honored by your trust, Esteemed Ilir. Thank you for your assistance." The kalashtar rises and backs out of the room.

"Nope. Haven't noticed anything like that." Hurosk's mind does recall, though, their recent visit to the island and how his mark reacted to the strange dragon-like plants.
"That is most kind of you," He adds speaking of the map. "I don't think an escort is necessary. Any places or beasts in particular that we should keep an eye out for?"
The smile didn't reassure Kyne at all. He produces a folded piece of paper
"Please accept this papers with our fondest hope that you find what you are looking for in our lands." he bows slightly " We hope this to be the start of a more continuous and productive relationship between our continents that had been for too long apart.
Hurosk:
"Interesting" he says about his mark topic.
"Oh but what kind of hosts we would be if we do not provide you with at least a guide and someone who can help you in your encounters with our citizens. She is more delighted to have been selected among many volunteers. There is always the romaing band of ogres, you should definitely have a look for those in your travels. We do patrol the roads but as you surely understand we cannot be at everywhere at the same time..."
Molaris:
"Have a safe and bountiful journey" he says as a goodbye with a slight bow of his head. Moltaris can feel his frustration but also his curiosity.
She walks out and find herself back at the door of the Iron Gate and the submissive woman bows deeply before her.
"I am glad that you have returned. I hope that your interview has been productive and not too tiresome. We seem to have to wait for some of your friends yet. "
Moltaris can see that Lyreis, Seb'riel, the little fairy and the armored dwarf are already there, each of them with a similar folded paper with a seal and small cord to keep it closed as she has.
"Not tiresome at all," Moltaris replies. "Most instructive, in fact. All well?" she asks as she turns towards Chanterelle and the others. "Any word from Kyne or Hurosk yet? Are they still being interviewed?"

"Well, you've already been more than accommodating and we appreciate the offer of the guide, but, if it's all the same, we really don't need a babysitter. If we're in need of some help I'm sure we can find one of your patrols to lend us a hand. If they're as helpful as you've been, I'm sure we'll be in good hands." Hurosk downs the rests of his drink and begins to look for the exit. "Are we about done here, then?"
“We are but I assure you. Our guide is quite pleased and honored to accompany you in your journey. Here” he says producing the folded paper with the cord that seals it “It has been a pleasure. Your friends awaits you outside. Have a good and plentiful journey” he adds with a smile.
Once outside and finally reunited the party has to decided where to go. They can start their journey right away, come back to their ship or go to the Golden Dragon Inn to rest for the night. Or they can find another thing to do.
Kyne shrugs non-commitally.
"Khorvaire, I assume. It is our home after all."
