Graeme sheathes his sword and equips his great axe. The weapon is somewhat of a crude design, but the angular notches and various markings of use on the blade imply that the axe has served its master well. He walks cautiously.
Johnny follows along with the wagon, much preferring the company of people (well, mostly people, almost) that can hold their own in a fight than whatever is howling, or sobbing, or creeping about just out of sight with a mind to eat him. He fumbles his weapons back in their places but sticks to close to the big man with the big axe as the mule is first propelled by fear and then guided by another of his impromptu companions.
Rumble steers the wagon down the fork's right path, and the sound grows closer. The moaning sob floats through the still, gray streets, coloring your thoughts with sadness. There isn't another soul out, let alone any other sound. They appear to be flowing from a two-story townhouse down a side street.
Looking around, most places appear to be abandoned, or at least decrepit and boarded up.
Rumble curiously pulls the wagon over to the front of the house. His curiosity getting the better of him. He silently looks around at the others to see their reactions/ thoughts.
As Rumble reigns in the wagon next to a two-story building in absolute shambles (and the apparent source of the otherworldly sobbing), Johnny catches his eye. He points to the second story with a worried grimace on his face and a concerned tilt to his head.
"If there's someone crying we should help but as a team.."Allen says finally coming to terms with his bloodline. He hops off the cart and gets to the front door of the building Rumble is climbing. He will wait for Rumble to come or at least wait for a single.
Johnny rubs the back of his neck with a hand and mutters to himself as he follows Eira and Allen, trying to look everywhere at once before settling on watching Rumble literally scale a building barehanded.
Rumble pulls over, and the accumulated strangers share concern for the source. The tabaxi approaches cautiously and begins to scale the house's wall. The other six stand at the house's front and can see that the windows are boarded up from the inside. The moaning continues loudly.
Rumble, once you claw your way up to the second story, you find the two there are also boarded up from the inside.
Ooc: tabaxi's cat-like claws allow them to scale vertical surfaces with a climb speed of 20ft. Other races can try, but checks are involved.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Boarded up... hmmm.. Either to keep something in, or... keep something out. Considering it’s boarded up from the inside, perhaps what or whoever’s inside doesn’t want to be found.
Before returning, Rumble looks around the house, climbing around all four sides to see if he can find a crack, or a gap in which he could peer inside. Investigation: 12
Otherwise, he returns back down the side of the house.
“The windows are boarded up... from the inside. Someone didn’t want to be found.” He says.
After Euron was busy all the way with his own notebook to go over his notes, he now seems to be done.
He looks around in the sad surrounding "Did you ever think it could be a trap? We know about vampires...these are clever monsters that can also set a trap for wanderers. We should be careful!"
Euron will place himself behind Allen with is bow in the hand, ready to shoot if some kind of Monsters will appear behind the door.

Molded bits of the house's wooden exterior to crumble away as you go. One of the windows around the side is a bit easier to see through. Even still, you can't see much through this second story window. Leaning in real close and trying to get the best angle to see that there's a source of light.
Allen:
The wooden pushes inwards slightly but has resistance. You only get just a few centimeters before you theorize it's blocked from the other side. However, unless there's a less strenuous way, your frail body would have to work to push it open.
Everyone:
Being so close to this house, it's evident by looking that it has either stood a long time and/or was constructed with shoddy materials.
Rumble gets into a stance and delivers a swift kick that breaks the top half of the ancient door in. Looking over and in at the other side or the door, there's a small end table blocking the way that's now been shoved back. The door is now passable.
