All four of the Redbrands draw their shortswords. The two in the road stay where they are, still 30 feet from Gruxx and Rock. The other two move forward, now about 10 feet behind the first two. The group can hear the scrape of chairs from inside the Sleeping Giant.
OOC, this could get tricky, so DDP feel free to tell me to change it.
Ian, from his hiding spot, will ready his bow (ready an action) but hold...he wants to give his friends a chance to have some fun, but if should either Rock or Gruxx fall to the ground, Ian will loose his arrow at the closest adversary.
In mechanics, if either of those fall to 0 health this round, and fall to the ground, Ian will intervene to prevent them from getting hit while unconscious.
OOC: Ian, Glyn pointed out to me that you had said you wanted to be on the south side of the street. I can make that change if you want me to.
OOC: Rock, a couple things. 1) Are you raging? If so, that's your bonus action, so you can't make an offhand strike. 2) When you make an offhand strike, you don't add your damage modifier, so it would just be 1d6, not 1d6+3.
In any event, here is your critical fumble for your main attack: 3
3-4. Goodbye Fair Blade! Roll an Strength / Athletics check DC 15, or your weapon flies d12 feet out of your hand in a random direction. If you have any movement and a bonus action left you can go and pick it up. In doing so you provoke an opportunity attack from anyone in the area, starting with your most immediate opponent. (Otherwise you could simply draw a second weapon, if you have one, using a bonus action).
Before I make the athletics check, I need to know if you're raging, because you'll get advantage if you are.
Rock begins to feel the blood pumping in his ears as his rage builds. Saying to Gruxx, "You take the one on the left; I have the one on the right. Let's RAGE and make some noise for the onlookers." He moves forward 30 feet and swings his handaxe at the (green) Redbrand, but he swings with such vigor that he also loses his weapon. Luckily, he is able to hold on at the last second and keep the axe from flying out of his grip.
In the shadows, Ian readies an arrow in preparation of aiding his barbarian friends, but allowing them the pleasure of battle first.
Gruxx, also raging, follows Rock forward. "Don't be shy!" Seeing Rock miss his swing against the (green) Redbrand, Gruxx decides to attack the same one. Luck is not on either of their sides, however, as the human's glaive slices through open air recklessly, missing the foe as well.
Glynquinal moves a little closer to the window and peers through. He can see movement because of shadows, but from his angle, he can't see anything but a wall. He moves south with stealth.
OOC: Glyn, moving with stealth is half speed, so it's 5 feet to G7, which leaves you with 25 feet. I will allow you to move one square south before going stealthy so that you can end up at G10.
The Herr Doktor Professor draws his rapier as he chants softly:
"Ole will-o-the-wisp, hear my plea:
Corpse light the comon folk call thee,
Fulfill your task, do it well,
Light these fools on the road to Hell!"
OOC: He casts Faerie Fire; using H15 as his starting point, one face of the cube will be from I12 to I15, then J12 to J15, K12 to K15, and L12 to L15. (DDP, please tell me if I've got the cube rules right, so all four of the Redbrands get caught by the spell.)
Herr Doktor quietly chants as the battle begins. A mysterious glowing fog seems to spring up in front of the Sleeping Giant, enveloping all four Redbrands for a brief moment. The cloud dissipates as quickly as it appears, but the crates on the covered porch and the (blue) Redbrand continue to glow with a fey light. The bard then moves around the building to hide on its western side.
OOC: The cube was good. Three dodged. Any attack roll against the crates and blue has advantage if the attacker can see them.

Glynquinal hearing the man on the porch give a whistle, quietly draws his Short sword, and a dagger and moves toward him.
Gruxx will drop his torch on the ground to free his hands but keep the area lit.
Gruxx will draw his glaive.
"If you want our property. You're gonna have to come and take it."
Ian, still in the shadows, nocks an arrow, and readies his bow.

Glynquinal wil hold at G10 until the two Redbrands have gone by to gain advantage on them.
OOC: Sorry I didn't address this earlier, Ian, but from your location, all you see is a wall through the window.
Rock is raging, so he gets advantage on his Athletics check (DC15): 21

Afterwards, the Herr Doktor Professor moves west, turning the corner of the building if he can move that far so he can hide again.
