OOC - Is that all? wow, I guess everybody just moved up and back a lot.
Herr Doktor, seeing his friends running to his aid, sees how bloody Glyn is and casts Healing Word and Glyn recovers 7 hitpoints
He then attempts to skewer this elf in front of him (flanking in effect, I believe.)
rapier to hit: 14
Rapier damage: 7
Sort of pre-emptive, but if that elf attacks, HDP will use [Tooltip Not Found] (cuttingWords) to reduce the damage roll. (as long as he is not immune to being charmed)

Herr Doktor laces some healing power into a short phrase and sends it Glynquinal's way, healing the elf a little, then jabs forward with his rapier. The attack cuts another small gash in the dark-skinned elf's arm, causing her to hiss in pain.
Ian weaves, using Rock's presence to split the wolf's attention. He thrusts his own rapier forward, catching the canine between the ribs. It yelps and then collapses to the ground dead. Ian then backs up into the next room to catch his breath.
Seeing Glynquinal as the greater threat, the elf swings twice at the elf. (slam attack #1: 17, damage: 7 bludgeoning damage — slam attack #2: 9, damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) Glyn is able to dodge the first attack, and the second is about to land, undoing almost all of the help the bard had just given him, but that very bard releases a cutting phrase that undoes the attack completely.
There is a roar from the room the elf and the wolf came out of and the bugbear appears, looks down at the still form of the wolf, and then rushes at Rock (V7) swinging its morningstar. (morningstar attack: 17, damage: 7 piercing damage) The dragonborn raises his axe and deflects the blow.

Forgot to roll the bugbear's DEX save (DC10): 5
OK, he doesn't fall on the ball bearings.
Glyn, if you're keeping track of your health, note that I had forgotten to account for HDP's cutting words reaction, which negated the second hit's damage, so you still have 15/21 hp.
OOC Glynquinal was at 5, HDP heals him for 6, putting him at 11. Then he took 5 more which was negated by HDP's cutting word. As far as I've been tracking he's still sitting at 11 then unless I missed something.

Glynquinal seeing Gruxx's efforts tries again to drop the red haired elf.
Talon to hit 20
Talon damage two handed 8
Sneak attack 7
Calling out to the Bugbear as he brings Talon down on the elf's shoulder he calls out to the Bugbear, "You're next." With far more energy than he feels.
Glynquinal cuts down the dark-skinned elf with Talon. The female's scream of pain shifts into a gurgle as the body simultaneously collapses and magically changes appearance. As the body comes to rest, Glynquinal, Gruxx and Herr Doktor look down at a gray, sexless, and hairless humanoid wearing no clothes, yet showing no gender.
Rock turns and swings his axe at the bugbear, cutting into the creature's defending arm.
Round 6: HDP (18/24) & Ian (10/21), baddies, Gruxx, Glyn (11/21), Rock (rage; 26/29)

OOC - dang guys, I am so sorry. Full weekend.
Ian peeks around the corner, and, seeing the bugbear, steels his nerve. He is not feeling great, but knows his friends need his help. I takes a deep breath, and charges around the corner
Movement up to the bugbear, attack with rapier, bonus action to disengage, and move back to his original spot.

Herr Doktor, from his place, looks to glynquenal and gives him a curt nod, thanking him for taking out the dark skinned elf.
Seeing this new danger arise, Herr Doktor motions to Gruxx to let him move through to attack the bugbear.
Herr Doktor will stay where he is, and attempt to mock the bugbear, using Vicious Mockery. Wisdom saving throw (DC13) or take 2 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
He also mutters a few kind words as Gruxx moves past, granting him 1d6 of bardic inspirition (Gruxx, some time in the next 10 minutes, you can add 1d6 to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This can be added after seeing the roll, but before knowing the outcome)

WIS save: 16
Ian rushes back into the ante room and thrusts out his rapier, jabbing the pointy end into the bugbear's side, then ducks back, taking cover once again.
Herr Doktor attempts to mock the monster with magic, but the creature's thick skull protects it from his mayhem. On the flip side, he inspires the human barbarian, hoping to give Gruxx a little edge.
The bugbear takes a huge breath and yells a guttural roar in Rock's direction, then disengages and ducks back through the door (DEX save: 7), and Rock sees him turn to the right and disappear.
It would look the same as #2402, except Rock is now at U7.

Ian, sick and tired of seeing this wolf, attempts to stab him, but also doesnt want to get bitten again.

Gruxx raises his glaive high and brings it down recklessly and in an arc aiming to split the head of the elf enemy!
Attack: 19 Damage: 10
OOC: Figured out what I did. I added it to Ian instead of Glyn. All you elves look the same. :) Oh, wait, Ian has dark skin. *shrug*
Gruxx almost succeeds in his endeavor. The elf is looking very rough!
Glynquinal, you're up!

The elf goes down. Do you want to move, Glyn?
OOC: No sir. That Bugbear looks pretty solid yet. Glynquinal will hold fast with the rest of his companions where he is.
