OOC: I'm sorry; I misread the instructions. Gruxx, everyone was supposed to make a DEX save first. Converting your roll to a DEX save results in a 9. NOW I need you to roll a STR save (roll another d20 for me and add your +5 modifier). By the way, everyone else made the DEX save. I'll summarize after Gruxx's second roll. Fingers crossed for a high number!
As the torrent of water comes pouring down the cave, Ian, Glyquinal and Herr Doktor are able to maneuver their bodies to avoid being pushed backward. Gruxx, on the other hand, being bulkier, is hit by the wall of water hard. He begins to fall backward, but throws out a strong arm and gasps the rocky wall. His strong grip and quick stance change keep him upright as well. The influx of water rushes by them and the cave returns to its previous state (water level and location), though the dry parts are wetter than before.
OOC: OK, where is everyone right now? Let's get into combat. Give me your location and go ahead and roll initiative for yourself this time.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Glenquenal said something about moving up, but Ian never moved, so only Glenquenal is the only one who saw what was about to happen (should he have had advantage on his save since he saw what was coming? doesnt matter now, just a thought). In fiction, I imagine Ian would have thrown himself to the side, close to the wall to avoid getting pushed by the water, so Ian is at Q4, and is waiting for HDP and Gruxx to join him.
Herr Doktor Professor had moved to N7 when the wall of water hit. He raised the lantern as the water rushed at him, to keep the flame from getting doused.
After Glynquinal recovers from the deluge of water, two things happen very quickly. He notices a goblin standing in the pool ahead of him. The goblin is holding a large hammer. It looks at the rogue, then hurries southeast through the water, disappearing behind the rock wall. Glynquinal is pretty sure he hears more than one set of feet walking through the water. Both elves hear something being said by one voice in the goblin tongue, but the two that could understand it are too far away to hear it. At the same time, an arrow comes at Glynquinal from the top of the stairs through the narrow passage to the southeast. (Attack: 16, damage: 6)
But the arrow sails right by Glynquinal's ear, causing the rogue to jump, but remain uninjured. He looks up to see his attacker — another goblin — duck backwards (east) out of sight.
Since there are no foes in sight, the Herr Doktor Professor casts Minor Illusion. He creates the sound of a voice speaking in Goblin, coming from behind the party. He makes it sound like one of the goblins captured earlier.
The voice says: "See? I warned you about the trap, that's why none of you were caught by it. These are the goblins loyal to Klarg. Kill them so we can help Yeemik take over."
(It may not work, but it never hurts to spread discord among our enemies.) ;)
Herr Doktor stops under the bridge and makes an intricate gesture. A voice which sounds similar to the goblin that escorted them down the path, speaking in goblin (which Gruxx understands, but neither of the rogues do) says, "See? I warned you about the trap, that's why none of you were caught by it. These are the goblins loyal to Klarg. Kill them so we can help Yeemik take over."
OOC: The stream is two feet deep at its shallowest and six feet deep at its deepest.
As the lantern should provide a 30ft radius of light Gruxx will move to P,4 as I believe that is as far as Gruxx would be able to see based on Herr Doctor's angle.
"Come on if your comin' Herr Doktor! I'm useless without light."

Round 1: red, yellow, Herr Doktor, Gruxx, Ian, Glynquinal
After Glynquinal recovers from the deluge of water, two things happen very quickly. He notices a goblin standing in the pool ahead of him. The goblin is holding a large hammer. It looks at the rogue, then hurries southeast through the water, disappearing behind the rock wall. Glynquinal is pretty sure he hears more than one set of feet walking through the water. Herr Doktor, you're up!
The Herr Doktor Professor moves carefully (since the stones may be wet) to P4, to stand beside Ian.
Since there are no foes in sight, the Herr Doktor Professor casts Minor Illusion. He creates the sound of a voice speaking in Goblin, coming from behind the party. He makes it sound like one of the goblins captured earlier.

Btw, that's the end of my turn.
OOC, DDP how deep is the water running through the cave?
Herr Doktor stops under the bridge and makes an intricate gesture. I warned you about the trap, that's why none of you were caught by it. These are the goblins loyal to Klarg. Kill them so we can help Yeemik take over."
