Ian says "We should probably be making our way along. Thank you for your hospitality." and he begins packing up his gear. Still keeping a wary eye on the zombies, he is efficient in clearing his area.
HDP pipes up, "Yes, thank you for letting us stay. Not to overstay our welcome, but might you have anything that would help us defeat these orcs? They seem to be bothering you, and perhaps we could help you out by taking care of the problem, but there are only 5 of us. Do you have anything - a weapon, or potion - that might give us an edge over the enemy we seek?" HDP is a bit more slow in clearing up. He is enjoying his foray into adventuring, but it is clear he is more accustomed to a slower pace, and the awe of fans, and definitely more ale than seems to be available on the trail.
Hamun smiles a small smile of apology. "I have nothing that I can offer adventurers. I deal in information. But, you may stay here again on your way back. I am positive you will be successful. I look forward to hearing your tale." He closes his mouth, but then an idea occurs to him. "Oh! I could send a couple of my zombies with you. I will tell them to obey you, and they will not disobey me." He smiles more broadly. "Would that be helpful?"
Glynquinal ponders on the idea for a minute,"Hamun, we may need to move quickly, or with stealth and cunning. Your Zombies might hinder both approaches. Thank you for your kind offer, but they are probably best left to your care."
Glynquinal gathering his gear and checks to make sure everything is in place. "Shall we be off then? Wyvern Tor surely has some excitement in store for us."
After five hours, the faint smell of smoke hangs on the air as you ascend a rugged ridge on the lower slopes of the hill called Wyvern Tor. Fifty yards away, a cave mouth opens up at the bottom of a ravine. Hunkered down by a boulder 20 yards outside the cave, keeping watch, is a single orc.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ian says to Gly: "What if we both go. On three." Ian loads his bow, and waits for Glyn to do the same thing. From a place of cover, so as not to give away their position, hopefully he and Glyn fire at the same time. One...Two...Three...
To attack: 11
Damage: 9
Sneak Attack damage, if DM rules that we have advantage on this surprise attack: 5
If there was advantage, I should have rolled another d20: 7

Hamun concedes. "That is true. While they can rarely be stealthy, they are never very quick."
Glynquinal gathering his gear and checks to make sure everything is in place. "Shall we be off then? Wyvern Tor surely has some excitement in store for us."
Graxx picks up his glaive.
"I'd say it's best we be on our way then. Appreciate the hospitality."
Whoever is helming this leg of the journey, roll five survival rolls to figure out how long it takes you to get there.
Gruxx will lead once more.

Rock will go with Grux
Glynquinal will trail along at the rear.
Ian and HDP will find themselves somewhere in the middle.
Good job! You walk straight there.

Glynquinal signs to Ian, "Do you want tbis one?"
Gruxx leans over to Glyn and Ian.
"Do you think you can make a shot from here or do we need to draw it out?"
Glynquinal leans close to Gruxx. "He's not terribly far. Ian should be able to make it"

Short Bow to hit 16
Damage for short bow 7
Sneak Attack 11
I can find no rule that says surprising a foe grants advantage. And since you don't have advantage, you don't get sneak attack.
Both attacks (without advantage) hit. The damage is be 6+5=11. The orc is still up. Everyone roll initiative, and we'll see what happens in Round 2.
OOC: Fair enough. Just wanted to provide you the numbers so the calculation could be made if that worked out.
