If Rock is up he will turn his attention to the yellow wolf and grapple the wolf grabbing the jaws and frocing them open and will use breath weapon down the maw of the wolf. Yelling "I SAID BAD FLUFFY, BAD"
OOC: Rock, you're not up, yet. You've already gone this round.
Wolf's WIS save: 8
Herr Doktor's cutting words magically end the (black) wolf's life. The animal slumps to the floor dead. The bard then drops his lantern (at O4) and hurries southeast (to R7).
The (yellow) wolf turns to attack the dragonborn. (Bite attack: 16; damage: 6 piercing damage — DC11 STR saving throw or be knocked prone if attack succeeds: 5 — Oop! Forgot to add your STR save modifier, +5, and also to give advantage because of your RRRRRAGE: 25) The canine's bite is able to penetrate Rock's defenses, but because of the barbarian's rage, he is able to shrug off some of the pain (only 3 points of damage). The wolf also attempts to pull Rock down to the ground, but the dragonborn is unmovable.

Fumble roll for Gruxx: 8
3-4. Goodbye Fair Blade! Roll an Strength / Athletics check DC 15, or your weapon flies d12 feet out of your hand in a random direction. If you have any movement and a bonus action left you can go and pick it up. In doing so you provoke an opportunity attack from anyone in the area, starting with your most immediate opponent. (Otherwise you could simply draw a second weapon, if you have one, using a bonus action).
Athletics check: 7
Gruxx swings his glaive at the (yellow) goblin, but the creature is able to dodge backward, and the blade swings through the air in front of its nose. The human swings with such force, he almost loses his grip on the weapon, and he feels the handle slipping through his fingers. But he is able to tighten his grip and keep hold of it.
Recovering from its dodge, the (yellow) goblin swings again at Gruxx with its scimitar. (Scimitar attack: 17; damage: 4 slashing damage) Not only is Gruxx able to keep from losing his glaive, but he quickly spins the weapon, blocking the goblin's attack.
Again attempting to ignore the pain, the (black) goblin fires another arrow at the barbarian. (Shortbow attack: 13; damage: 3 piercing damage — forgot to roll with disadvantage, but doesn't matter) Gruxx seems to have found his stride as he dodges yet another attack.

Glynquinal hearing the cries of his friends telling him Ian is in trouble, as well as hearing the sounds of the wolves much closer than they should have redoubles his efforts to quickly end the encounter and go to Ian's aid.
Dagger 1 to hit 7
Damage for dagger 1 4
Scimitar to hit 13
Damage for Scimitar 2
Glynquinal says to his small for, "You are hurt, and will soon be dead. All your friends are dead. You should leave while you can."
OOC: pulled from the disadvantage list again, but it doesn't matter this time. Both rolls were still good on the successful hit, and the absolute same on the failed try. Trying to pull from the right list though.

Glynquinal jabs first with his dagger, and the goblin is able to use its bow to block it. But the rogue's subsequent swipe with his scimitar hits home, leaving a very bloody gash along the creature's forearm.
Persuasion check with disadvantage: 17
Round 5: Ian (unconscious; 1 save/1 fail), Rock, Yeemik (disappeared), old man (prone), HDP, yellow wolf, Gruxx, blue goblin (disappeared), yellow goblin (very injured), black goblin (injured), Glynquinal
Ian, please roll another death saving throw. Rock, you're up!

Acrobatics contest: 11
OOC: Rock, I cannot find anywhere anything on grabbing your opponent and then attacking them all in the same round. All I can find is that it uses your action to grapple a creature, meaning you wouldn't be able to attack until the next round. It is reasonable to say you could attack with your breath weapon while holding onto the wolf, so I'm not worried about that. If you (or anyone) can find me something that allows for both a modified grapple (holding on to a creature) and an attack in the same round, I'll take it into consideration the next time you attempt this.
Rock attempts to grab hold of the wolf, but the creature is able to wriggle out of his grasp.
The old man continues trying to rub the bindings on his wrists on the blade of the handaxe to free himself. (DEX: 2)
OOC: This was all I could find on grappling with the Grapple feat. Looks like a multi step process, assuming the wolf was grappled in the first place. If there is no grapple feat then it would require the ability to make multiple attacks.
When you want to grab a creature or wrestle with it, you can use the Attack action to make a special melee attack, a grapple. If you’re able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this attack replaces one of them. (PHB p.195)
You’ve developed the skills necessary to hold your own in close-quarters grappling. You gain the following benefits:
You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
You can use your action to try to pin a creature grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, you and the creature are both restrained until the grapple ends.
OOC: OK, I'm going to create a house rule concerning this maneuver. If Rock wants to grab a creature and use his breath weapon on a creature, he rolls both a grapple and an attack with advantage. The target gets to roll athletics or acrobats as usual to attempt to foil the grapple attempt. If the grapple succeeds, then the attack must also be high enough to succeed. If the grapple fails, the breath weapon doesn't happen (like above) because the rest of the turn is used up as the creature is breaking the grapple attempt. After the attack, Rock let's go and the creature is not grappled. If Rock really wants to grapple a creature (hold on for longer than just that turn), it's his whole action to grapple, and if he wants to use your breath weapon on the creature after truly grappling them, he'll have to do it on his next turn until he can perform two actions in the same turn.
The old man's efforts finally pay off, and his wrists are freed. He grabs the handaxe, stands, rips off his gag, and looks ready to assist the strangers.
The Herr Doktor Professor then runs to S4. He opens the fallen Ian's pouch, expecting to find a healing potion, but finds nothing there!
OOC: HDP uses interact with object as a free action; he believed that Ian had the healing potions taken from the bugbear (he was busy introducing himself to Rock, so was not paying attention to who was looting the bugbear's treasures).
"Verdamt," he mutters under his breath. He realizes he will have to use his non-existent medical training to try to stabilize the elf, unless whoever has those healing potions shows up soon.

OOC: Ian has not yet made another death saving throw.
Yellow gob WIS save: 8
Herr Doktor turns and mocks the (yellow) goblin, but because of the distance and the constant sound of running water, the goblin is able to ignore the bard's magical attack.
The (yellow) wolf, after wriggling out of Rock's attempted grapple, turns attempts to bite the dragonborn. (Bite attack: 23; damage: 8 piercing damage — DC11 STR saving throw or be knocked prone if attack succeeds: 9) The barbarian is able to block the wolf's retaliation.
Distracted by the idea of giving the potion of healing to the old man, Gruxx's attack is off enough to give the (yellow) goblin enough room to dodge out of the way. The goblin attacks back. (Scimitar attack: 14; damage: 5 slashing damage) The barbarian's distraction is enough to leave himself open to the goblin's scimitar. Gruxx goes down. The goblin turns and says something to the (black) goblin in the goblin tongue (which Glynquinal doesn't understand). But the (yellow) goblin clearly indicates him, so the elf knows it concerned him. The (black) goblin drops its shortbow, draws its scimitar, and takes a swing at Glynquinal (Scimitar attack: 13; damage: 8 slashing damage), but the rogue is able to dodge out of the way.
Glynquinal, you're up!
I still need a death saving throw from Ian for this round.

Glynquinal seeing the changing tide turn against him knows he's in trouble. Calling out to the old man, "Hurry up to help the elf that is down. You can't do anything more here."
Seeing his closest foe (Black goblin) already badly wounded, Glynquinal goes right after him with his scimitar.
OOC: DDP, can HDP leave the lantern in O4 so it continues to provide light for Gruxx and Rock?

Gruxx, you're up!
Gruxx looks back concerned about Ian but knows Rock and Herr are on the way. He cannot leave Glyn to deal with these two goblins alone.
"Hold off the wolves! I'll be there soon!"
Gruxx will make an attack on the Yellow Goblin with his glaive. He will not use movement.
