Erok quickly and quietly gathers his things and gets ready. He looks curiously towards the entrance to the tomb, his interest caught by the strange symbols on the walls. He silently studies them while waiting for the rest of the party to assemble
There are times when I look at her, not trying to remember, but just to admire her, I get really warm and I have an urge to kiss her. I don't know why. She makes me all fuzzy and tingly inside and sometimes I'll smile just because. She makes me happy, she makes me feel safe. When I go to sleep I have dreams about her. Little fragments of moments we must have had before my memory loss. We used to kiss a lot, and hold hands, among other things... Maybe it's just my urges making me think this.
I really like her.
I need to snap out of it.
Lilyth was beaming with excitement. She inhaled breakfast, got her things, and made her way straight to the entrance of the tomb, scribbling in her notebook the glyph's that she managed to see without getting too close. Any nervousness that plagued her before seemingly was now gone and replaced with eagerness to explore. She wasn't worried anymore. She had her new friends and most importantly Cora by her side. The elf was more than sure everything was going to go well and they were going to find what they were looking for.
Maybe she would even find her memories deep down in the tomb; or so she hoped.

The love Cora had for Lilly would, at times, overflow and make her heart almost burst.
I have been given a second chance, she would tell herself - remind herself. You have the chance to make it right, now. Things are different now, and you don't have to hurt her anymore. How many times in a lifetime do you get not one, but two chances, to have someone fall in love with you? Yes, Hell ****ed her up with the memory wipe. You dumb stupid idiot, Cora. Try not to **** up this time? Take it slow. She had her memory wiped. You've done a great job with what Hell has placed in your lap. You've dealt with it. You're taking your time and making things right again.
This time, you don't have to break her heart. You can love her with everything that you are.
But..what happens when she does remember again? When those memories return, will she be angry with you again? Will she cry again? Will her heart break again? No. She came with you, willingly. She used to love you. Since she lost her memory, i've had to take steps back. Refire up the relationship. Remind her that we were once together, that we had a romance, that we were once one. I want to show her more than anything right now how much I love HER. I can feel her heat, her touch, her warmth, her lips look intoxicating. Her skin and her shape, even how she smiles at me. I wish I could take her the way I used to, when she belonged to me and nothing else mattered. I want everything about her more than anything in this universe. But..I made a mistake, and put Hell first.
Take it slow. Gentle. When she's ready, i'll know.
"Hey." She said to Lilly gently, touching her arm, as they looked at the entrance together. She smiled warmly at her, her nerves calming immediately thinking about the danger they might face. "We've been through the drills before. These guys know what to do. Just remember, OK, I wanna be able to see you at all times, stay close to me, and remember to use the hand signals I taught you once we're inside. Who knows what we'll find in here. If you wanna take notes or draw something, let me know, i'll cover you. I'm sure you'll find a few interesting things in there."
She glanced at the others and made sure no one was looking, she held up her hand close to her chest and quickly hand signaled a few words - a trick she learned hundreds of years ago in the Academy, and taught to Lilly when they met.
You'll do fine. I promise to protect you. You look really beautiful today, by the way.
Cora then looked at the glyphs to see if they made any sense to her. Magic was not her speciality, nor did she trust anyone at first who weilded them. She squinted her eyes and focused.
Cora: As you study the glyphs, it triggers a memory from a past job and you immediately know what you're looking at.
You know that these glyphs were made to channel the natural magic of the land. Though you are not a magic user and cannot sense it, the presence of these glyphs means there must be a ley line nearby. Ley lines are like rivers of magic that run through the land.
These glyphs would have taken a long time and a lot of skill to create. They could power any number of magical effects down in the tomb. A detect magic spell could tell you what school of magical power they are radiating.
With that high of a roll, you also know that any attempt to damage these glyphs would result in a dangerous discharge of energy that would harm anyone close by.

Cora points to the glyphs. Of course. I know these.
"I recognize these from..someplace else." She says, mysteriously. "These glyphs channel the natural magical energies of this land - this must be where a ley line is. They would have taken a lot of skill and a long time to etch into the stone, these particular glyphs. Must be magically powering something inside. We should be cautious. And, don't touch em. They could explode."
She watches Shem start to descend into the tomb, and turns to pat Maegan on the shoulder with a sympathetic look - as if to say, 'better luck next time.'
At Cora's look Maegan just sighs, "If only I could detect magic." And Maegan goes into a very easy to see temper tantrum mumbling and groaning about these glyphs.
Nearing the end of their private conversation, Lilyth have a nod to Cora, signing back to her a thank you and “I will”, following it up with a gentle kiss on the cheek. The elf pulled herself away before the other could do anything, walking away with her hands on her reddened face. Every time she did anything affectionate to her the butterflies in her stomach would flutter ten fold. Stupid butterflies, stop that!
After calming down (for the most part), Lilly waited for the others, copying the glyphs in her notebook. She watched Cora inspect them and wrote down what she explained about them, a smile permanent on her face. She really did love learning, thinking of it as a way to cope with her forgotten memories. Replace them with new ones, she would tell herself.
Putting all her stuff away, with a bounce in her step, she took hold of Cora’s hand and pulled her down the stairs with her. “Onwards!”

A quick peck on the cheek from Lilly was all it took for Cora to remember old times, as they descended in. She would have told Maegan to not worry about it too much, as she could tell she was frustrated, but Lilly’s lips on her cheek, however brief, distracted her completely. She swallowed hard, closed her eyes for a moment, and did her best to suppress the growing warmth in her loins threatening to reveal themselves and turn her into a ravenous, hungry animal. She always smelled so good, her hair was like the summer sun on Faerun, and each time she got that close her heart would move up into her throat. Cora’s heart, begging and yearning to show Lilly how it felt, fought against her brain, that spanked it and said ‘No, idiot! Not yet! Down! Down!” Her heart struggled to comply.
It didnt help the conflict between her heart and her brain that Lilly’s fingers entwinted with hers. Cora’s hands were a bit rough and calloused, and like her scars, she was a bit self conscious about them. Lilly’s skin was warm, and smooth, and Cora supressed the urge to yank her towards her and forget everything around her and kiss her the way she deserved to be kissed.
Maegan hears an angelic voice in her head which she recognises as being her patron. "Don't be alarmed, I can tell your frustrated, but you need to learn to trust these people. You need to show that warlocks aren't just pawns of evil beings. You need to remember why your doing this don't lose sight of that." Maegan responds audibly," You're right I need to show that I'm not just a pawn of a evil being I need to show that I have my gifts to help people." Maegan stares off in the distance when a flashback happens to her. Images of her parents and twin brother murdered flash in front of her. She screams.

Erok turns to Perzival quietly. "These glyphs seem to be magical. I cannot detect their purpose, but mayhaps you can?"
Shen confidently (not) starts going down the stairs. hoping that everyone will follow along.
"I can have a look at them," speaks Maegan, "After all I do know magic myself"

His eyes dart nervously from side to side trying to see the danger.
