I too spend my time window shopping and chatting with Rachel and Caesar. I speak to the town folk as well. I do wonder how Kelvin would feel coming here someday. Would it remind him of his home...I go silent for a bit as I ponder it.
Once done window shopping, will head back to the Inn and get some nourishment and find out what the others had been doing during the day. Afterwards, I head up to the room Rachel and I share and retire for the evening.
The rest of the day is spent windowshopping and milling about in the market place visiting and seeing all there is to buy and what is for sale. Soon the day is getting longer as the first sun sets and the second sun begins it downward slide. The group gathers once again in the inn to discuss the days happening s and what they should do tomorrow. The most pressing is the reply to Jorel as well as the latest message that has arrived from Lady Diana telling you to gather your group uo and meet by the castles front gate when the second sun is at its zenith.
"So, let's meet with Jorel tomorrow morning and find out our next steps. This will be most interesting." The next morning, I eat light, get dressed comfortably and go with the others to the house of Jorel "I wonder if he has a son name Kal-el?"I joke.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
"Why do you think I've been frantically looking at cross-planar travel agencies?"I respond, still grinning.

I take my time getting dressed. Walking with the others i enjoy the comfort of my new slippers. Caesar ambles alongside me. A smile is plastered on my face as i am enjoying our visit so much . Hearing Grant and Jason discussing Kal-el i shake my head. " Do you hear these nerds Caesar?" My smile belies my words.
In the morning the group heads to the more wealthy part of the city. As you all step onto the street that has the more wealthy people houses you see a patrol of guard heading your way. They fan out as they get closer to you effectively blocking you from going any further. The guard behind the blockade simply says, "Good morning my friends I think you have made a wrong turn back there and you need to turn around and head back hence you came from."
I step up to the guards and take a short bow, doing my best to avoid responding with a mocking tone, "How thoughtful of the city to provide visitors with such useful guides. We are indeed new to the city and not yet used to finding our way around. We seek the residence of our new friend councilman Jorel, we spoke with him a few days ago and now he has invited us to speak again concerning certain Affairs of State. We were under the impression that he lived in this area, if we are incorrect, could you please point us in the right direction?"
I will produce Jorel's letter as proof of invitation.
Sorry if I did not make it clear before, we would have dressed up in the new clothing before heading into the Rich part of town
My eyebrows raise at this. I step forward in my sea-foam green new gown and new heels. Caesar walks just behind me. " I thought that druidesses were treated with respect here. I suppose i will have to mention this to Jorel when we next speak. Very....disappointing. "
Taking my time dressing in my new gown of deep green that acsituates my bosom and other curves as well as my eyes and my high heals; I let my hair cascade down my back expect for the thin briad starting at the top back of my head. I then head out with the others staying near Rachel as much as I can. I say nothing to the guards unless they speak to me directly.
As Jason produces the letter and Rachel steps up the Guard leader stammers a bit, "I... I am so>>> I did not meant o cause you delay. Jorel's house is the third one down on the left but just so you understand he is but a minor lord not a council member." The guards look a bit pale at what Rachel has to say with the leader telling them to make way for you to proceed. He gives a very low bow to Rachel saying "Pardon our interruption to you and your parties goal we were just doing our assigned job. No disrespect was intended Druidess." He does look apologetic.
OOC While I did understand you dressed in the finer clothing they would still have stopped you as that is truely their job to make this area of the town less traveled by those that do not belong there.
Smiling at the bureaucracy that occurs, even in such a primitive setting, I walk with the rest as we head to the house indicated. Once we reach the building , I say "You'd better keep that letter handy. We wouldn't want to be classed as unmentionables here. "

I let Rachel say the last word to the guard, but nod at Grant's comments as we move on. Hopefully we'll make it the rest of the way without significant challenge.
Travis, walks on with the others his heart skipping a beat. As, the main party were stopped from going any further. Then, relieved that it was a mere formality. Then, allowed them to proceed. He, continues with them.
It does not take you much time to travel the few houses down and come upon the small mansion that houses Jorel's family. After knocking upon the door the familiar elder man answers and invites you in. He leads you back to the parlor where you sat with Jorel before and tells you that he will inform Jorel of your presence.
After about ten minutes Jorel comes into the parlor greeting you each with a bow and handshake. Once greetings are done he will take a seat. "I have set up a meeting with a council member that wants to meet with you. She would like to meet you tomorrow night after the first sun sets in her manor is that is ok with you. I can meet you at the inn you are staying at and escort you to her residence if this meeting is good with you."
Looking to Jason, I nod agreement, looking forward to the next stage of our progress up the ladder of influence. Turning to Jorel, I ask "Should we keep asking Rachel to front for us, considering her influence as a Druidess? Or would there be a more influential person in our group who better suit this particular Councillor? Should we be prepared with gifts of some kind?"

I smile quite pleased at the guard's reaction to my being a druidess. Love of my new abilities and influence here make me think how hard it will be to return to my mundane self back home.
As Jorel speaks i study his house casually. Caesar stands behind me looking at some displays with great curiosity. I maintain a smile as Grant questions if someone else should speak for the group with this Councillor. Paying close attention to Jorel, I try to read him better.
Jorel answers, "I think with this council member that having the Druidress speak for you may be the way to go. As diplomats from a foreign country it is customary to bring gifts to the king of things found in your homeland. but no gifts are needed for the council member you will be meeting. While anyone can speak for you I feel that you having a woman speak for you would be prudent."
As Rachel studies Jorel she feels that he is not hiding anything but does seem a little nervous.

Travis, likewise gets ready trying out his new shoes to wear. Freshening up and getting changed to go and meet Jorel at the front gate.
I grin at Grant's comment as we head in that direction, "If so we might need to get off this rock before it explodes."
"Why do you think I've been frantically looking at cross-planar travel agencies?" I respond, still grinning.
