Eya’s eyes widen as Grumblejack goes down. There is a look of pure rage in her eyes as she bears her teeth at the treant. “I’M GOING TO BURN YOU, EVERYTHING YOU LOVE, AND THIS WHOLE ******* FOREST TO THE GROUND!!!” she screams.
She tightens her fist and the flaming sphere burns with an even greater intensity. Meanwhile, her tail snaps quickly to her bag and retrieves a wand. She grabs the wand in her hand and, gritting her teeth, points the wand at Jurak. By now she is filled with an overwhelming fury and is breathing heavily in her anger. She points the wand upward and a red bead flies out towards the top of the treant. The bead rapidly expands then erupts in a huge ball of flame that engulfs the entire upper branches of the huge treant.
The hell hound’s ears perk up as it hears Eya and growls at the treant. It’s teeth wreathed in flame, it lunges at the treant once more.

Hearing the loud grunt as the animated tree knocks Grumblejack down, Blau breaks off his attack and rapidly heads over there, pulling out a scroll and getting ready to put his Lord's powers to task once more. "get up, you big slab of flesh, and do more damage to that pine!"

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Eya's efforts to burn the tree redouble, and pay off. Jurak's face can hardly be seen among the flames now, and his cries of anger are clearly tinged with pain. Kiven manages to get in several good shots this time, the arrows sinking solidly into the wood.
Abraxxus swings wildly, and connects. There is a crunching noise, and then a long groan, and suddenly Jurak is falling backwards slowly. Respar dodges out of the way, but one of the boggards is a little slow to react and gets crushed by the burning mass of wood.
The treant thrashes around for a time, and at one point calls something out in a strange windlike speech, and then finally falls still, the fire burning merrily.

Abraxxus leans on his axe to hold him up now as the rage leaves him. Surveying the fallen treant he chuckles. " Well, the blowhard is finally gone. I didn't think he would ever shut up. " He makes his way to Jack to check on him.
Once the dust has settled a little, he says "I think we have time to rest. Let me heal him from our Father's divine powers and then let rest heal him further, rather than use up any more of that wand of yours, Eya." And then casts the spell once more, healing him further.

As soon as the fights ends, Eya's rage quickly shifts to concern as she rushes quickly to her fallen ogre. She has a look of utter despair on her face as she sees Grumblejack lying on the cavern floor. "Please, please be okay," she whispers softly. As Blau uses his divine magic to heal him, Eya just stays nearby and hugs Grumblejack. She's just about to use her wand when Blau asks her not to. She looks to Blau with a tragically sad expression that she rarely shows. This is the face of someone who is on the verge of tears. Someone who knows the pain of abandonment.
"I...thank you Blau, but may I just use it once for him?" Eya asks as she looks over his battered body. "Thank you for healing him tonight. I...just...don't want him to suffer. He's really a good, loyal boy, just misunderstood and abandoned. Just like me."
She presses the wand to his skin and uses a bit of its magic to trigger faster healing. "That should be enough to take some of the pain away, big guy." She stays beside him until he regains consciousness, then gives him a big hug.

Once Grumblejack is conscious and stable, Eya goes to douse the flaming treant carcass as she summons water down upon his huge form. She then addresses the group, "I'm afraid there's more trouble heading our way. In his death throes, Jurak used a speak with plants spell to every tree, shrub, and blade of grass in the area. Roughly translated, he said to, "Seek Callistae and tell her of this treachery." Callistae is a lillend, another good celestial. From the waist up, Lillends appear to be seductive elven women. From the waist down, they have the body of a snake. They are large and specialize in bardic magic and enchantment magic. They can fly very fast, have immunity to electricity, petrification, and poison and are resistant to cold and fire damage. They are relatively wise and quick but not as physically hardy as Jurak. She's going to be a problem soon and we need to be ready."
"Kili, can you fly high above and keep an eye out for such a creature? Let me know if you see her or anything else troubling," Eya asks the mephit.
She tells the boggards of the Lillend as well and asks if they have seen her or have ideas on how to ambush or use a trap against her. Also Eya says to Kiven, "Let's go check out those magical auras you saw earlier too."
Celarel watches Eya fuss over Grumblejack with a frown, "You truly care about him don't you? You aren't supposed to be able to do that. Devil blooded are only capable of caring about themselves. At least that's what I was taught." Her frown turns to a grimace, "Another lie."
Meanwhile Grumbles starts groaning and moving around a bit, "Tree man hits hard." he complains, "Did I get em?"
As Kili nods and flies straight up, a few minutes later he drops back down and reports, "I'm not seeing anything within a couple of miles mistress. This tree cover hides a lot, but anything that big and flying would have to go high. Want me to keep watching for a while?"
As soon as Jurak falls, the boggards start dancing around. When the Flames are extinguished, one enterprising toad starts hacking off scorched branches and piling them up. There is no sign of the Shaman
Blau finished what he can for doing with Jack's wounds, then notices the Shamans absence. "Where did he go? Did he get caught under the falling wood?" And looks around for any evidence of the bogard.

He assists in the search for the shaman. " He might have been flattened under this thing.. "
"We will set an ambush. Perhaps in a narrower area of these caves."
To Calarel, Kiven remarks "these things are never as simple as those with power would claim in their effort to control us." "Our path will also have difficult choices, but at least you will have a voice in the change we bring about."
Respar shrugs. "The shaman might already be going through the chief's goods, back at their cave. Should we check the items out now, or wait for this lillend creature?"
The knot proceeds back into the cavern and to the boggard village. The boggards give you a wide berth, but none of them appear to understand common, and there's still no sign of the shaman.
Within Kumanda's hut is a collection of items obviously treasured by the late chieftan. His wives huddle in a corner as you poke around. Much of what's here is junk, shiny rocks, ruined pieces of armor and weapons, a broken shield with a fancy emblem, etc. But a few items stand out. Two large chunks of uncut amethyst, a huge tusk of some sort that appears to be ivory, and a compass, which proves to be the source of the magical aura Kiven saw before.
Looking more closely, it becomes apparent that there are actually two auras here, one from the compass itself and another from something inside of it. The compass is evocation, the other aura is divination.
Blau asks the boggards what is at each direction from their lair, and if they had seen the Shaman, in all the languages he knows? "Father needs his help, and so do we." With regards to the compass and it's content, Blau shrugs "Maybe someone can open it?"

Eya responds, "Yes Kili, please keep an eye out. Come to me if there is any trouble, and try your best to stay out of sight. If anything so much as comes close to threatening you, turn invisible and come back."
She then takes some time to identify and appraise some of the new items.
"So, where should we look? We should keep an eye out for good trap locations in case that lillend shows up? We could take the path west near the entrance and see where that leads," Eya opens up to the group.
