"Wait...white.....female. Perhaps that lady in white that I saw maybe has to do with Eleanor." Gobber mumbles to himself then ask the old dwarf, "Do you know about any lady that very pale with a green-gray cloak? I saw one a few nights ago. "
The dwarf thinks for a moment scratching at his chin, “Well... that description sounds like Elmtongue.. but, I haven’t seen her in an age. Ever since the forest went all dark and spooky...ever since those demons came ‘round...” he trails off and looks down at his feet sadly.
"I think that we would all greatly appreciate the gift of your hospitality this night. Perhaps you could also tell us more about these demons?" Angie asks carefully, trying not to upset the dwarf. "Where have you seen them? How do you know that they are demons? Do you know if they can be defeated? Maybe it will help us in finding and retrieving Eleanor."

"Of course, of course," Timil says as he hops off his chair and scurries into his hut. "Come in, come in!" He calls over his shoulder. Its a tight squeeze, but you all manage to fit inside of Timil's little hut.
In one corner he has a bed, along the back wall he has some shelves with odds and ends, and in the center he has a cauldron with fish soup bubbling away inside. Timil grabs four bowls off the shelf and hands each of you one of them. He grabs a ladle and haphazardly fills each of your bowls. The smell is actually quite delicate and aromatic.
"Sit, sit." Timil motions to you as he takes a seat in the only chair in the room. "Right.. where were we. Oh, yes. The demons I speak of are known as Dark Dwellers...."
You sit and listen as Timil tells you the following:
Most dark dwellers awaken when large quantities of blood are spilled on the ground. They are bloodthirsty beings whose only goal is to kill and destroy. They do anything to splash more blood on the ground so that more dark dwellers will awaken. Their blood thirst and power grows increasingly stronger the more blood they taste, and a dark dweller that has felled a few victims is a very dangerous foe. It is a feared being whose traits shift depending on which type of forest has given birth to them, and what has been sacrificed or died in the place where it is awakened. The dark dweller is a terrible creation to look upon, and together with the stench of gore and rotting extremities it is a nightmare even for the most seasoned warrior. It is usually taller than a normal-sized human and consists of rotting body parts and dead plants that hold the creature together. The most common dark dweller has a humanoid body with an extra head, which can belong to humanoid creatures or animals. It might also be equipped with different extremities that, just like its heads, can belong to either humanoid or animals.
“Well.. perhaps the lake. It’s just north of here along the main path. If she’s not there then I’m not quite sure where she could have gotten off too! Oh dear.”
Angie stifles a yawn then says, "OK, first thing tomorrow morning we will go check out that lake. But first, where can we sleep for the night. It has been a long day and I am very tired."
"Thank you. I'm sure the floor will be fine." With that Angie lays her sleeping roll down on the floor and tries to make herself comfortable for the night.self down in a corner and tries to make her. "Good night."
Before falling asleep, Angie tells her companions, "If you guys want to set up a watch, then I will take the last one. I'm tired, and after making the ontological breakthrough that I just made my mind needs some time to process it. Wake me up for the last watch." With that she falls to sleep.
Assuming Gobber will go to sleep too. You all settle down as comfortably as possible. At the very least it is warm inside Timil’s Hut as the rain continues to fall throughout the night. You all receive a long rest, however just before dawn breaks in the soft darkness of the early morning you hear a blood curdling grating roar. You all bolt up and look out of the hut. Starting back at you is a pair of sickly glowing eyes set into what looks like a moldering human skull. The skull is attached to a decrepit pile of bones, wood, and debris. It shuffles towards the hut steam rolling off it’s rotting form...

"What do you know of their strengths and weaknesses? Will my axe be able to kill them? What about magic? Do they fear fire or anything else?"
“Haha.. I’ve never gotten close enough to fight a Dark Dweller! Why at my age I’m happy to just be able to get out of the bed in the morning!”
"Where would we start looking for this elk friend of yours?"
“Well.. perhaps the lake. It’s just north of here along the main path. If she’s not there then I’m not quite sure where she could have gotten off too! Oh dear.”

"Sleep sounds good," Thokein turns back to Timil, "Do we need to set watches, or is this place safe?"
Timil motions to the floor, "I only have the one bed and I'm old.. sorry. This place is safe enough, but do as you will."
"Thank you. I'm sure the floor will be fine." With that Angie lays her sleeping roll down on the floor and tries to make herself comfortable for the night.self down in a corner and tries to make her. "Good night."

Timil takes all of the bowls and puts them out in the rain to get clean then slowly gets into his bed. “Goodnight now,” He says.
He leaves the fire on for warmth, so there is some light. Do you guys want to set a watch, or is everyone going to sleep?
