Gobber goes to Healer relay what he saw during his watch when it is Healer's turn.
You'll never believe what I just saw! There was this really pale women near the trees and I think she wanted us to head into the forest, yep. She had a greenish gray cloak that cover most of her body, but her face was ghastly white. She vanished into the forest when the fog came in as if it swallowed her whole.
The forest is giving me the shivers. As cold as death itself, I swear.
"Our course is set my friend. No matter what strange magic lingers here. We must push forward. We will be on our guard. Thank you for sharing your experience with me."
The thick fog remains through the rest of the uneventful night and into the early morning as you all stir from your slumber. The fire has burned down to a smoldering ash pile. You wake up shivering, the air is cold, and feels as if winter has come overnight.
You all wander towards where the apparition appeared during the night.
It is quiet, unnaturally quiet. You can hear your own breathing as a whisper in the moist air. A white morning fog blankets the whole landscape. The faint light that filters down through embracing branches of the trees casts strange shadows, and the forest surrounds you like an ancient guardian. Impressive pines thicker than three men around rise toward the sky like protectors of the forest. What or whom they protect, you dare not even dream of. Everything is covered in thick, moist moss that has clung to the landscape since the forest was young. From the moist insides of the moss, small yellow mushrooms and other vegetation grow. The pine needles lie thick on the forest floor, and you perceive that the forest hides many secrets beneath its flourishing surface.
A single hoot breaks the silence.
Somewhere nearby a dry branch breaks. With watchful eyes you stare into the dark forest to see what it might have been. The shadows make no sounds and refuse to give up their secret. Never before have any of you seen such a bushy and untamed nature. It is as if the forest has stood untouched since the dawn of time, and has grown wilder and wilder as the seasons have passed.
"Let me do something first." Gobber takes his arrow and longbow and aims into the forest.
"For the wild, let this arrow be an offering to this land." Gobber murmurs to himself and releases the arrow. (An ritual he does before entering the woods)
Then, he grabs his belongings and follows Angie.
"Oi, ye better wait for me. Ya don't go wandering in the woods alone."
The snapping sound of Gobber’s bowstring reverberates through the air, but the echo seems to die short. The arrow quickly disappears into the fog, likely to never be seen again. As you search around the area where Gobber saw the apparition it dawns on you that you were still a distance away from Wildheart last night when you set up camp. It seems that the forest has grown around you, or at least shifted on you in the night. You find no evidence of the apparition.
"Well, it seems we arrived in Wildheart in our sleep. Very unusual." Angie says as she looks around a bit distractedly. "Hey Gobber, you know your way around forests such as these, right? Maybe you should lead the way for us."
"Of course I do! However, the land isn't what I am usually familiar with. The land feels strange......I can't sense anything in our surroundings. Perhaps a bit of time would let me attune myself closer to this land."
Gobber feels a bit worried as he is confused about why he doesn't feel as close to nature. Perhaps, the incident last night may be the cause of his discomfort.
He will lead as he walks with caution in the front. "Let's move along."
Browned pine needles crush underfoot as you traverse the winding forest path. You can see no more than a few feet ahead due to the thick fog. The enourmous evergreens seem to press in on you from all around. Coupled with the fog the trees feel somewhat oppressive. The sound of your breathing seems to get louder and louder in your own ears as you exert yourselves along the silent path. After a few hours it comes to a t-intersection. You can only see a few feet in each direction, but it appears the path to the left leads north and the path to the right south.
Angie looks at the diverging paths. "I don't know where we should go, but the path to the left seems to lead in the general direction of Wildheart's heart. I say we go Left."
Angie assumes the posture and tone that she learned during her seminary years was proper for scholastic arguments.
"I have only three points to make. Once I have made them I would like Gobber to reconsider his opinion. If at that time Gobber still believes that the correct direction to head is South then I will bow to his expertise.
1. Gobber himself has admitted that he does not feel attuned with this land yet.
2. While I may not be familiar with woods, I am very capable of reading a map, as has been proven by my successful navigation to the town of Yksa.
And 3. The map clearly shows that the majority, and most dense parts of the WildHeart lie to our north."
With this Angie direct her companions' attention to the map and points out their general location with respect to the location of the Whildheart.
"Having said that, if Gobber still believes that we should head South then I will conform my vote to his oppinion."
"Yer right about that. If we go left, we will be deeper in the forest, but is that a good idea? I suggest we stay closer to the edge of the forest. Plus, it seems we will run into other villages. Wouldn't that help us get more information about this place?"
Gobber points to the left
"Besides, going the heart of the forest is dangerous as we are not familiar with this place. It's safer for us to turn right and have a way to exit the forest in dire situations."
"We can go around the edge, but our goal is the heart. How much time can we sacrifice to gather information? On top of all that, what information could they have? The guards we spoke to treated this place with fear and superstition. What more can be gained in delay?"

Gobber wakes up with bags under his eyes. He had trouble sleeping through the night, thinking about the incident that happened last night.
"Brrrrrr, the fog is still here? We should be careful in the forest. Something bizarre came out of the forest and welcomed us last night."
"Hm, maybe we should investigate the area in which you saw the specter." Angie says. She will investigate the area where Gobber saw the woman.

"I agree with Angie. Left is better than nothing anyway. What do you think Gobbler?"

"Well, I hate to even it up, but Gobbler knows forests and he says 'right', so I agree with him."
