"Excellent! Much appreciated, Valentine. Always can count on you. Yes. Yes, indeed." Afte trusting or directing/assisting Valentine in tying the rope off, Yolov returns to the tunnel. "Mordecai? Banhkan? If you both would be so kind as to go first? The former, first, naturally. Duergar. Excellent Darkvision. Rivaled only by Drow. Would suggest Valentine, but not exactly the most sturdy."That last part he says after having or attempting to circle behind her and start manipulating one of her arms into a curled position.
He even goes so far as to run a finger along the forearm. "No armor. To soft. No arcane precautions. Pleasing from a aesthetic point of view, but not tough at all. Would be torn to bits, if our delving should be noted."He then looks over to Coseris. "Gnome. Good dark vision. Less likely to be noticed. Similar situation to Valentine however. Poor choice." Yolov shakes his head then look to Duergar and Loxodon. "Here though. For Bankhan." He offers two dragons(gp) and a lit torch. "For Keegick's debt. I pay, so you may return focus on objective."

Mordecai gladly enters the tunnel, dropping the last few feet and landing with a soft thud. He quickly approaches a side wall, finding some rest for his eyes and scanning the darker environment.
Bankahn harumphs, a slight smile on his gray face.
"Thanks, but...keep...your gold,"he tells Yolov, as slow and deliberately as usual.
"It is not...a big deal. I will take this...though,"he says, sheathing his greatsword and accepting the offered torch. Bankahn draws a short blade from the sleeve of his robe as he stomps into the tunnel after Mordecai.
Mordecai is first down into the tunnel area. The eight-foot diameter seems to be fairly constant, leaving plenty of space overhead as he walks along the slope further down. The ground beneath his feet lightly clangs; apparently it is all a smooth metallic structure, typical of such a lawful place.
Bankahn is next down, following behind his companion, bringing illumination to the area. While the tunnel felt and appeared smooth, the light shows that beyond the silvery sheen of the ground there are some light hints of a dark red film that stretch slightly, making small lines invisible to the naked eye when relying on darkvision. Those parts weren't visible on the surface, so it could be due to the influence of whatever is currently burrowing ahead.
(Since the tunnel is mostly circular in formation, it'll be single-file mostly, if you want to arrange a marching order. There is space to try and squeeze past, but not really walk two-by-two due to a lack of flat flooring.)
Mordecai will take first place, glad to use his eyes freely for the first time since arriving. Holds his weapon at the ready and strides forward to meet the foe, oblivious to the color details on the walls but quite taken with the organized metallic structure that they are climbing through.
Yolov falls in line immediately after Bankhan and Mordecai. With most of his magical energies expended, he only had his staff to rely on for further conflict. For once, the blue-skinned wizard was mostly quiet. Only the light, absent-minded tapping accompanied his every step as he quietly marveled at the structure around.

Warx walks around the perimeter of the hole on the surface a few times, watching as the Kobold Conjurer leaves the circle. 'The Good and Chaotic edges of The Circle are diminished, and the balance of power swings toward the Evil and Lawful edges. Hmmm...' he thinks to himself. After watching as the other remaining members of the order descend into the hole, he finally takes his turn wth his Flail at the ready, and Whip within quick grasp at his waist. Warx follows the group running his free hand along the side of the circular tunnel, almost caressing it, enjoying the feel of the unfamiliar texture. "What see you, Mordecai?" he calls ahead to the front of the line.

Eyes still smarting from overlong exposure to sunlight, Mordecai calls back over his shoulder, "Not much!" He tries to focus on his footing and on watching for movement and turns in the tunnel ahead, but isn't able to make out much in the grey darkness.
Moving onward and further into this tunnel, the red strands seem to get slightly thicker, and a couple seem to pulsate like a vein. Upon turning a corner, the grinding noise that is ahead appears to come from a creature ahead. Burrowing into the rock appears to be a metallic lobster-like creature around seven feet tall with a small glow of red between its plates that glow with a dim light. While the face cannot be seen as it is facing away initially, it appears to be consuming the ground that is ahead of it after cutting it open with its claws, as the strands of red that are along the tunnel appear to be coming out of the creature's back, like a spider's silk.
(I will assume people are wanting to do things, so I will roll initiative to put people into turn order.)
Scenario: The lobster-like creature is still burrowing, so is currently surprised. Those at the front of the group are around 35 feet away from it, while the ones at the very back are currently around the corner so have no direct line of sight to to.
"Fascinating."Yolov mutters under breathe. "But no time for that."As one less inclined to hold back, Yolov squeezes forward past Bankhan just enough to send a dagger flying for its tail before ducking back behind the wall of leather. "There. That should've gotten its attention. Hm. Though, probably be best prepared to retreat. Leading to the surface. Yes. yes, indeed."Yolov halfs rambles and half warns the rest just back around the bend.

Coseris towards the back of the group see Yolov toss a dagger and now sees the creature past the group in front. Seeing Bankhan and knowing that he and himself were both injured in the last scuffle with no time to rest, reaches out and touches Bankhan casting Heroism, using his last spell slot, giving him immense bravery also giving him 5 temp hitpoints and an additional 5 hit points at the start if each of Bankan's turns, until the spell ends. (1min - Concentration).
Coseris will then try to with his movement to hug the right wall of the tunnel so that he has some sort of cover against attacks. still being at the back of the group.

Yolov hurls a dagger into the dark tunnel, causing it to clatter on the metallic surfaces. Coseris decides to aid Bankhan with a Heroism. Valentine waits towards the back to see what happens next.
The chaos creature, hearing the noise behind it, stops its burrowing and turns around. It reveals a maw that opens in four directions with small tentacles that look to be lined with blades as thick green acid seems to drip from the mouth. It screeches with an otherworldly cry (and that's all it can do due to being surprised!).
Bankahn drops his knife, muttering as he raises a grey hand, palm facing the creature. Behind it, a translucent barrier appears, shimmering with magic and blocking off the creature from escaping. Then Bankahn advances on the creature, scooping up his knife again.
"Drat," Bankahn mutters as Keegik runs away. He owes me 2 gold pieces...
And that's all I have to say about that.
