Necromancer's Delusion-Homebrew

"Great. Mucor, are you good on your own for a bit? I can give you DoomTail for extra defenses. I think that we can do all of our work from the air as long as we move strategically."

Sound strategy.  As you get closer Gaelin finishes his casting of telepathic bond and your party splits as each group begins their path towards their targets.  Where does each want to approach from? 

(All approaches will be north of the city.  Using the map you can approach from the NW, N or NE sections.  Beyond that you can approach from the east, center or western side of each section.)

OOC: Mucor would approach from the northwest and move east along the line of towers. 

"I will be fine. Any assistance you can give to Stonewing would be appreciated" Mucor would say with a nod as spores billow out behind him 

(Whatcha think Zinmaer?  West side of NW section?  Go about 1000 feet above them then drop down to 400 feet and use the spell?)

Gaelin will offer Bronze Claw to Mucor and say, "I can ride Valeera and you can take Bronze Claw to aid you as well."  Gaelin and Valeera will approach from the Eastern side of the Northeast.

(Let me know if I need to do a dex save)

Jinara would lean down towards DoomTail's ear and say to him "My friend. I leave you here. Go with the Minotaur and keep him safe. We need him to break this siege. I will keep myself safe, but if you see me fall, come to me and take me to safety. Be smart and avoid getting hit as best uou can."

Jinara will say the above when we split,  then tap his boots and start flying. He would then turn to Gaelin and say "I'm a bit slower than the griffins. How should we approach?"

"Save the boots for now and hop on Valeera."  Gaelin responds. 

(@JInara-Hop off and start on the western side of the NW section. and we'll meet in the middle of the NW section then head to the center section.)

Mucor would nod as he agrees to take the extra griffon and flies around into position.

(Sorry, miscounted last night and thought we were waiting on one more.)

As the party splits and make their way towards each target you watch as the never-ending horde of drekthar just passes the trebuchets. The thunderous sound of footsteps fills your ears as you approach and begin to descend towards your targets. Jinara leaps off Valeera’s back as they turn east and falls a few hundred feet before clicking his heels activating his boots. Aryn and Zinmaer begin their descent above the cluster of orcs that watch over the battlefield periodically giving orders to blow a combination low and high-pitched horns in a specific sequence. The drekthar trebuchets and Traes defenses continue to lob projectiles at one another as the horde makes it halfway between the trebuchets and siege towers.

You all seem to be relatively unnoticed since you came from behind and above the armies.   Aryn & Zinmaer have reached the 350-400 foot mark.  Gaelin, Jianra & Mucor have all entered their attack dive and are roughly 150 feet above the ground and within 50 feet east or west of your first target.

(yeah buddy! Here we go!)

Aryn will stand on Calypso drawing both swords and ignites Flame Tongue.  She will then move slowly towards Zinmaer then telepathically say, "one, two, three!" and leap towards him as she uses the ring to cast Dimension Door and will move us between the westernmost yellow and westernmost red orc about an inch off the ground.  

Mucor would swoop across the sky staying almost exactly 120 off the ground as spores swirl behind him like a smoke trail. As he gets within range of the first siege tower, he would point his staff towards the base of the siege weapon and cast erupting earth before pulling up and preparing to dive on the next tower.
