Aryn would unintentionally scratch at the annoying bumps and look around wondering where how they got her. Assuming Mucor or Torq informs them what happened... "Really... from plants? This place is crazy. Let's move. I don't deal with being itchy well." she says now fighting the urge to scratch.
"Your wounds do not appear to be too bad, Luckily Torq was able to pull us out of the hostile vines... If you would like I can heal them for you if you wish." Mucor would say, trying to be helpful.
Jinara would come to groaning slightly as everyone is talking. "Glad to know we are closer than expected." he says as he stands up and adjusts his cloak.
Valeera nods. "Apologies all. We'd be much closer indeeed if I had performed this correctly. Now let's get somewhere safer." she says transforming into her dragon form and breathes a jet of flame that torches a line of vines for 80 ft. You quickly hop onto the huge dragon and she takes two lumbering steps before leaping into the air. Her large metallic wings shimmer as rays of sunlight pierce through the forest. You fly for roughly 3 hours before finally coming to a clearing by a river. You glide through the air hovering over the area for a few minutes to ensure no danger is immediately present and once satisfied land. Gaelin begins casting his spell and Valeera shifts back into her human form except she looks much different. Before you stands a dark skinned wood elf with long curly black hair and green eyes. "This is Rowan." Valeera says. At the end of ten minutes a translucent force field pops into existence and you can rest easy that you are safe.

"Thank you Mucor but don't discount yourself. Without Mucor, I wouldn't have known what to do." Torq replies attempting to boost Mucor's morale. "Alright, so we've somewhat got our bearings does anyone have a back up plan in case Gaelin's doesn't work? Valeera, do you know if the local wildlife is edible or poisonous?" he asks. His military training and personality was beginning to come out now that they were faced with a life or death situation in the middle of an unknown plane of existence.
He'll take a few minutes to think before settling on an idea. "I'm going to fly around for a bit and see if there's any landmarks that stand out. Maybe one of them will be familiar to Valeera." he says to the group. "Gaelin, if you want to recast your mind link spell again so we can be in constant communication go ahead. I'll return before it ends." he adds trying to keep from wasting any time arguing. He was going to scout regardless but he knew being able to communicate with the group throughout his scouting would be much more beneficial.
Torq will set off and fly 500ft into the air looking at the river and field where the group currently sits. He'll look up at the sky and get his bearings then take off towards the south looking for any geologic formations or man-made structures of note. He'll fly for about 20 minutes attempting to follow the river as much as possible and check in with his team periodically every 5 minutes or so unless he spots something. At the end of his scouting route he'll pause and hover in the air ritual casting Commune with Nature. After casting the spell and reciting the knowledge gained to the group, he'll turn around and follow the river back to the team.
Gaelin looks over the new form of Valeera and nods taking in all the features of the body to familiarize himself and give himself a better chance of succeeding."Thank you Valeera." he says with a kiss on the forehead. "If you're set on going I will definitely cast it." Gaelin replies to Torq, ritual casting Telepathic Bond on the group. After he's done casting all his spells he'll take a minute to watch Torq and follow his movements until the winged birdlike man is a spec in sky. "He does have a point. We should work on a backup plan. Even if I'm able to make contact with Rowan there's no way to know if I'll be able to see enough to get us there or for her to be able to help us. I'm going to try to contact Rowan now and hopefully she'll respond. Valeera, is there any phrase or word that would let her know that you and I are allies?" Gaelin asks preparing to cast Sending.
Once Valeera replies Gaelin will send Rowan a message and say, "Hello Rowan, I'm Gaelin a friend of Valeera. We're somewhat lost and hope you can help us." (the remaining 8 words can be a phrase or word that Valeera and Rowan have in common.)

As Torq finishes his statement about scouting, Jinara says "Good plan. I will join you." He taps his boots and takes off behind Torq into the air to get a lay of the land.
(I want to do a history check of my knowledge of the feywild and a perception to get bearings, if allowed)
Mucor would take a moment and look around at their surroundings... After a moment or two he would cast speak with plants. "Hello.... My name is Mucor... we are friendly.... can you please tell me if there are other friendly creatures around here?." He would ask to the plants around him.

(Torq- forgot you could do that. What three facts would you like to know?)
"She liked to call me the red maiden." Valeera says with a smile thinking back to her history here. "She'd definitely remember that." she adds. Gaelin makes a mental note and casts his spell adding in the "Red maiden" remark after Valeera's name. You wait for about 10 seconds before you hear a reply in your mind. A slow eloquent but firm female's voice says, "I was curious where she'd gone off to. I might be of service but need to know more about your current location... vegetation, wildlife anything."
(Jinara- if you tag along with Torq, you'll either slow him down or can ride on his shoulders, in his claws to keep his speed up.)
Torq sets off with Jinara and they manage to follow the river pretty well. Torq turns back to look at the group and gets partially blinded by the sun. He wanders a bit off course before Jinara straightens him out. The landscape is mostly dense forest with patches of fields, lakes and ponds scattered about. A towering crystal mountain chain with a couple smoking volcanoes glimmer off in the distance. (Either of you can make a survival check to see if you recognize where you'd be on Eraas.)
Jinara- you recall in your studies, both at the temple and in the library that little is known of the Feywilds other than it is a plane that mirrors Eraas. It is full of magical fey, elves, ogres and orcs. The morality of good and bad are blurred to the creatures that inhabit the feywild and seeming good creatures may do evil acts and vice versa. The sun never fully sets and appears to move as you travel across the landscape. Sections of it are shaded in near eternal darkness from an ever setting sun while others appear in full sunlight or a rising sun. The seasons are constant and based on location. There are rumored to be portals that exist on the material plane of Eraas that connect these planes but no evidence has been found. You would also know Shadowfell is the dark and even more dangerous mirror plane of Eraas and is full of demons and devils.
Mucor- you find a cluster of tall greenish blue reeds that sway along with the flow of the river. They continue to sway and lean as you speak then reply in a shrill high pitched tone. "Welcome elf. There are many animals here that are docile, but all are wild and defensive when threatened. Many dangerous creatures too. They like to visit the river to find food within or drink. Many plants are friendly but many are also poisonous." You walk over to a nearby tree and receive a similar response. You turn to a patch of mold growing on one side of the tree and it refuses to answer before a stream of pale green acid sprays in your direction. You take: 4 acid damage.
Torq- At the expiration of 20 minutes of travel you and Jinara stop and hover in the air. You begin to breathe slowly and deeply focusing on calming your body. You close your eyes and feel weightless. Your wings flap rhythmically as you begin your ritual. You focus on the three questions and at the 3rd minute of your ritual you feel a tug from within your body that turns you southwest. Your eyes open and your vision seems to focus and zoom in on a small section of forest about 2 miles away. Outlined in red are 8-12 small wooden structures. Your vision fades and you resume your ritual. At the 7th minute your body naturally turns north and your vision zooms in again on your group and Valeera outlines in red. Your vision fades and at the end of the ritual you feel your body turn southwest again towards the small village.
"GRRAAHHH!!" Mucor would shout in frustration as he wipes way the acid from his face... The woodelf would extend his hand and cast mold earth, causing the dirt around the tree to rise up and cover mold before churning downward as though it were trying to strip the mold from the tree and bury it deep underground. "I.... dislike this place very much." Mucor would say as he tries to calm down.. his back heaving up and down as he breaths heavily once the soil settles down again.
Torq relays all the information he gained to the group telepathically and turns to Jinara, "We should head back. Good to know we're relatively close to some form of civilization." and will let Jinara hop on and take off back in the direction of the group.
Mucor- You hear a small squeal of pain emit form the moss as it's pulled into the dirt and disappears into the ground. The tree simply says, "He was a bit rude i suppose." and then your spell fades.
Torq- surveying the area around you , you are unable to discern your location in proportion to Eraas.
Gaelin will listen to Torq's words and reply, "Good work guys. Get back as soon as you can and we'll check out this village." Then he'll send another message to Rowan. "There are crystal mountains and volcanoes and vines that poison. There's also a small village nearby of elves. Will let you know more soon."

Aryn watches with amusement while Mucor talks to the plants, Gaelin talks to voices in his mind and Aryn just paces and surveys the area. She'll occasionally peer into the river to see if she can spot any fish or other wildlife and contemplate hunting but choose to air on the side of safety.
"Understood. Where is the sun and what season is it? There are a few crystal mountains with volcanoes, but too many to chance." Rowan's replies in your mind. You can tell in her voice she is earnest in attempting to aid you. Her voice has a tinge of anxiety in it and hope.
Aryn keeps a keen eye on the groups surroundings. She is quickly able to spot numerous fish even the mostly translucent fish that seem only to glimmer when the sun catches their scales just right causing a flashing rainbow of colors to appear within the clear river. You notice most of the small game here seems relatively fearless. Not scurrying away until you get within 3-4 feet. You could easily kill some for food if you desired but choose to enjoy the nature around you unlike Mucor. You giggle as the somewhat clumsy elf gets sprayed with acid and immediately retaliates. You don't see any sign of predators lurking along the tree line and though you are on your guard, you begin to let the thought of safety creep in.
Torq and Jinara make their return after another 20 minutes and you mount up on Valeera. You take flight and head south along the river enjoying the beautiful scenery of green fields and forest that blossom with flowers and wildlife. Safe in the sky you breathe in deeply the fresh air and close your eyes for a moment as the warm rays of sunlight feel wonderful with the swift breeze from travel.
Torq or Jinara- make a survival check with advantage to direct Valeera to the village.
"Should we land a short ways away and walk or fly straight there? Strangers arriving on a dragon may be a bit intimidating." Gaelin asks the group telepathically.
