JInara will rush back after watching Gaelin go limp at a distance. After Mucor brings him back, he will bend down putting his hand on Gaelin's shoulder casting Cure Wounds at 4th level, and say "Sorry you were the focus of his anger".
He will then go over the the dead shadowblade and waive Kelgos over to him. "What gives him the advantage of the shadows? Is it innate? Armor? Is it the blade? (Jinara picks up the blade and examines it. I assume Kelgos can just tell me)" After which, Jinara will search the body and pocket anything of value and anything that will aid in understanding the drow more (Investigation w/ Guidance9 + 1)

Gaelin will open his eyes and breathe rapidly for a few seconds looking over to the dead drow beside him. "Man that was a close one. Thanks guys. I don't know what I did to piss him off but next time I'm standing behind a pillar." Gaelin will reach down and touch his chest and expend 4 charges of his staff to cast Cure Wounds healing himself: 26
"Alright, let's get to work." he says dusting himself off and standing to his feet, still a bit shaken from everything that happened.
Seeing his companion collapse, Mucor would snort and charge towards his fallen companion. He would quickly slide across the ground and place his hand on Gaelin's chest before casting heal. "Don't you die friend." He would yell as his hair falls down into his face

Aryn looks over to her brother and feels a tear run down her cheek, then watches Torq, Mucor and Jinara come to his aid. She watches Valeera rush to him and a bittersweet smile comes to her face. She knows he's well taken care of. Her heart pangs as she looks back to Mucor but she quickly looks to the shadowblades and decides to utilize her time. While Jinara is checking with Kelgos she rummages through the dead and undead shadowblade's bodies, taking their swords and anything she finds interesting.
"It comes from our training..." Kelgos replies "We spend years mastering these blades and our innate magical abilities. The blades themselves are magically empowered through... various methods. Our training increases the potency of the shadow enchantments within the blade as well as our own abilities. Some of our instructors have even gained new abilities or improved their shadow created by the blades to be resistant to almost all forms of light."
While Jinara and Kelgos converse, Aryn sneaks over to the corpse of the dead shadowblade and finds a dark dagger and 5 platinum. She turns around and begins probing the undead shadowblade who doesn't resist and she finds another 5 platinum, a similar dagger and takes the sleek dark elven shortsword. Shadows seem to drip from the dark blades and as you lift it to examine it closer you smell ash, blood and an acrid scent that seems to bring the word poison to mind. Gaelin, feeling the healing energy from his companions and his staff is able to stand and move normally though his mind is still drained from the exhaustion of near death. As Jinara turns back to examine the bodies, he is unable to find anything of value then turns to see Aryn examining the shortsword. Valeera reverts to her human form and embraces Gaelin checking him over and closely inspects his wounds, which have sealed and turned to fresh pink scars thanks to his comrades. Satisfied with his health she thankfully nods to Jinara, Mucor and Torq then turns to Varian. "We are ready."
Varian nods and says, "Torq, Valeera and Kelgos, would you be so kind as to watch the entrance? Let no one leave, detain them if at all possible, but if necessary you may kill them." He then leads Aryn, Gaelin, Jinara and Mucor back into the temple and puts a glowing finger to his throat. As he speaks his voice seems to be amplified greatly. "Acolytes of Davara, you are now safe. Please remain in your rooms until your instructors come for you. Instructors, please make your way to the garden for further instructions." Varian's voice echoes off the stone walls as you walk down the hallways lined with doors then turn to head into the garden. Along your way you see a few doors open, some you see peeking heads and others you see individuals exiting and following behind you to the garden. It takes about a minute before all 8 instructors are gathered. Their clothing closely resembling the acolytes but with purple sashes draped over their shoulders. Varian looks over each of them with a discerning eye and says, "I'm going to be casting a zone of truth, then my colleges will be questioning each of you. If you resist or try to lie I will know. If any of you are involved with this dark business, let it be known now and confess. If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to fear." After he finishes his speech he waits a moment and there is a tense silence that follows. "Very well..." and with that he casts Zone of Truth.

"Who is second in command here? Who is Wymeron's closest ally here?" Aryn asks each of the instructors as she pulls them aside and whispers to them. After easch response she looks to Varian for confrimation.
Torq nods to Varian. "I'd be glad to." Torq flies up 30 feet into the air in front of the entrance and looks down to Valeera and Kelgos. "I'll fly around the exterior if you two can watch the front door."
Jinara- you recognize three of the instructors. Two were instructors during your tenure at the temple and one was a fellow acolyte who was a year or two older than you. Evelyn Mistfall, a human female with gentle eyes, grey hair and burly build bows and lets out a small smile as you meet her gaze. She was always one of the kinder instructors and was one of the few who encouraged you to continue your studies despite Wymeron's dislike of you. A tall slender elf with black hair and narrow eyes frowns as your eyes meet. You knew him only as instructor Falk. He was a strict teacher who never seemed to find a student he liked and seems quite displeased to be questioned. His displeasure appears to be more from the inconvenience than caused by anxiety. Cedany Stone was a stout half-elf female with short brown hair. You didn't share any classes together but know her from passing in hallways and common areas. You'd remember stories that she has a fiery temper and intense personality. Cedany looks at you somewhat quizzically as if she recognizes your face but can't place a name. Most of the instructors seem compliant and concerned but not guilty of anything. Two instructors however, seems to be stone faced and share a short split second glance at one another.
Aryn- All of the instructors seem to be complying and ready to cooperate. Responses to your first question all align with one simple name, "Falk" The second question causes a variety of responses, "Celaser" and "Dain" are the most common answers but the results vary enough that you start to realize some of these instructors have no clue about the social heirarchy behind the scenes.
Torq- You make a couple rounds over the temple grounds and don't see anything out of the ordinary.
If the ancillary instructors, Jinara asks similar basic questions to Aryn but focus a bit more around changes to practices and rituals during their time at the temple. "What were the temple rituals and learning practices like when you were an acolyte? How did you become an instructor? Who is your observer (or mentor/handler/etc. Xtra your know what I'm asking lol)?" Since most these are showing clear mannerisms of not guilty, he is testing their experience against his memory of ranking, oversight, etc. In the temple for any anomalies that might spark a different (less obvious) connection or problem.
(For evelyn, Falk, and Cedany as well as the other 2 instructors, I will post later tonight)
A smile comes across Jinara's face as she enters the room. A rare occurrence for him as he is normally pretty stoic. Her returned smile warms his heart. "My lady." he says "A bright face in a dark time. it is good to see you. I must ask a few questions as my companion has done. Let me ask the hardest one first. Did you know about Wymeron's dealings? Where can find logs, files, or artifacts Wymeron would collect and how to access it? What can you tell me about the 2 instructors at the end of the line (referring to the ones who looked at each other)? I do not recognize them."
Instructor Falk:
Falk is met with stern eyes after Aryn finishes her questioning. Jinara walks up to stand directly in front of him and says "You know why we are questioning you, so your distaste is not benefitting you. What will help you get out of here faster is answering our questions truthfully. Did you know about Wymeron's dealings? Has Wymeron taken any temple dwellers as apprentices?"
Cedany Stone:
"you remember me, don't you? I am Jinara. I know we did not socialize during my tenure here, but I am hoping you can help us. My colleague here is quite...uh...to the point. I need information on less prominent details. You have been here long enough to know some of the in's and out's of this place. What can you tell us about Wymeron and his associates' dealings? Who are the two instructors in the back and what cn you tell us about them? Where can I find logs, files, or artifacts and how can we access them?"
Celaser
As the instructor enters the room, Jinara locks eyes with him/her. The instructor sees Jinara's jet black eyes, black mirrors, atop a stern face. His hands interlocked inside his cloak sleeves. Looks him over with intention knowing he is not from Telgun. He speaks and says "Why are you here at this temple? What does Wymeron need you for?" He continues after Celaser responds with "You have been on an artifact excursion with Wymeron. Tell me about the last one you journeyed. What did you find and what was his reaction?" After the explanation, Jinara pauses for a few moments and then says "one final question. Have you ever been to the feywild and why were you there?"
Dain
Jinara will repeat the same questions that he asked of Celaser, but does not ask what Wymeron needs him for.
Mucor- You see the same looks and emotions that Jinara does, but are unaware of their backstory. You watch as Aryn questions the instructors and you keen in on the same two instructors that Jianra saves for questioning last. You observe that one instructor seems fond of Jinara (Evelyn), one quite displeased (Falk) and the third seems mostly indifferent but respectful (Cedany).
Jinara- Evelyn looks at you with soft eyes and replies, “Thank you Jinara. You’ve always been a kind boy.” Her face changes to one of confusion as she listens to your first two questions. “I know he leaves occasionally to procure artifacts. I assume he keeps them in his private quarters or in the shrine room. He doesn’t really discuss such things with me.” (You’d know her role at the temple was mainly the instruction of the new young acolytes, ages 6-12. Her days were typically full of keeping the children together and build the foundation of discipline.) Evelyn’s face returns back to a peaceful look with a hint of anxiety as she looks over to the two last instructors. “Those two are Celaser and Dain. They sometimes join Wymeron on his journeys but at least one of them always stays behind while the other departs. They seem nice and help with the children here and there.” She says with a smile.
Falk frowns “I do not know why we are being questioned. I know there was a disturbance at the entrance involving Wymeron but I was in the midst of teaching when that took place. Wymeron’s dealings? That man galivants around for artifacts while he should be here teaching and keeping order. Nearly a third of the time I spend filling in for him and despite my protests he promotes those who have not the merit to deserve it.” He says with a scowl as he looks to the two instructors who shared a glance at one another. While Falk’s demeanor would is clearly displeased, you can tell it is not due to guilt but from an annoyance of the disruption itself. His face changes, contorting almost into a smile and he says, “You seem to have done well for yourself. While I would never approve of the manner in which you left this place… I’m glad you were able to bring an end to the war.” His face returns to his near permanent frown and he adds, “Now can I return to my class? I’m sure the acolytes are having a ball in my absence." (You’d know he is the type of person who just doesn’t like anyone. Like the groundskeeper from Harry Potter.)
Cedany nods as you say your name. “Ah yes, opinions vary but most people said you lost your mind and left quite angrily… it seems not all stories are true. I’ve heard a lot about your group’s accomplishments. Quite impressive… thank you. When instructor Gwenyth passed I was one of 3 others picked to step into her role. Wymeron didn’t choose me but his vote was outnumbered by the other instructors. Dain was his choice but in the end we were both promoted eventually. Dain doesn’t say much and keeps to himself, Wymeron and Celaser. Celaser came from Zhora a few months ago, a transfer who arrived with Wymeron from some temple in a small town. You’d probably find most of that stuff in Wymeron’s chambers or in the shrine room. I assist in the library and don’t know that any of Wymeron’s texts on the artifacts have made it to the shelves for review yet.” Her face changes slightly to one of curiousity and she leans in a bit to whisper. As she does you notice the glint of metal armor beneath the crease in her robe. “What’s it like… being in battle, fighting for your life?” she asks with a flare of excitement in her eye.
(Excluding Dain and Celaser) The two of the three instructors relay that they are simply traveling instructors who are charged with inspecting the standards and regimen of the Davaran temples. (you'd remember that two individuals who were treated as instructors would visit for a few months every few years.) They are both older human males and slightly confused by the events taking place. They inform you they arrived two weeks ago and are scheduled to stay another 6 weeks before moving on to the temple in Arix. Both appear fully aware of who Varian is and begin making mental notes of the current precedings, interested in fleshing out whatever information can be gleaned.
The third instructor you are not familiar with informs you that she is the librarian and curator for the temple. The dark skinned earth gensai smiles and converses rather enthusiastically as he details his escape from Amwood as it was under seige and how he was brought here and charged with the duties of the library. When questioned about the logs and artifacts he nods excitedly and informs you that, "Wymeron says he plans on completing them within a week of his return. I can't wait to read about the fascinating things he's discovers..." he says trailing off with a blank smile as he day dreams. Though he seems quite knowledgeable in books, he appears to be a bit aloof socially and you can tell he isn't involved much in the drama/ politics of the temple. (Amwood was one of the coastal cities destroyed on Telgun during the Drekthar war.)
(Alright I think that's it. Feel free to post your questions for Celaser and Dain.)
