"Um...Um. Yeah I think it would work depending upon how much innate power he expends. You know as well as I that there is always a chance for magic to fail. This magic binding my mother is the same magic prepared for Wymeron. I cannot help but think 'why is my mother encased this way? Is there a reason?'" Jinara says quietly so that only Iris can hear.
(upon hearing Aryn & Gaelin) Jinara turns his head quickly. Does he remember those names or that battle with Raikyrth specifically? (let me know what to roll)
(Geez work has been killing me this week. Apologies all.)
Jinara- You would know now from your legend lore that Viryngos was your eldest brother. No additional memories are triggered by those names though.
Everyone- The archivists carefully take back the tablets and book from the table while Epos speaks. "The archivists have arrived. We will take you there shortly. Please remember to exercise extreme caution when your perform your spell. These relics are part of our history." he says appearing to get a bit emotional. This is quite strange given his large dragonborn appearance. You can tell he cares for the artifacts and importance of preserving history as any headmaster of a library should. After taking a few seconds to gather himself he continues. " When we are all present we will clear the area and whichever one of you who is casting the spell will have plenty of space. When I give the all clear you may begin your spell cast. Please... follow me." and with a quick turn he leads you out of the archives and up multiple flights of stairs to what appears to be a partially active teleportation circle. The three archivists who walk along with you each reach out their arms for you to take. Standing on the large dimly illuminated pad of runes Epos, Jinara, iris and Gaelin lock hands as Epos speaks a single word in draconic. Instantly they are teleported to a similar pad that appears to be on the side of a mountain clearing. Each of you in groups of three or four follow suit and are teleported to the same location.
Standing roughly 100 feet away are four archivists who look over the stone tablet sitting on a small wooden platform. Gaelin and Epos make their way towards the relic while the rest of you fan out in a semi circle to watch. Epos and Gaelin arrive at the relic and the four archivist join the onlookers. "Be careful but do not hold back. Spellcasting is a balance of delicacy and boldness. Do not attempt this timidly." and he places a hand on you casting Guidance and walks back to join the others. Gaelin stands alone of the nearly barren mountain side of black basalt lava flows have left a large swathe of open ground. The warm tropical wind blows from east to west and brings an eerie feeling of fear as the time comes to cast a spell.
Gaelin- make a spellcasting check! you can add a d4 from Epos' guidance.
"Viryngos was my eldest brother. I wish I could remember more." Jinara says to Aryn & Gaelin.
As we travel to our destination, Jinara says "Epos & Gaelin. I do not know the temperament of my mother when she returns. Might I stand with Gaelin when he casts his spell? Presenting myself may be of aid in opening discussions."
"You are free to stand by your friend if you choose. It is only out of safety we recommend you stand back." Epos replies appearing both eager and dreadful as he weighs the possible outcomes.

Gaelin was surprised by Epos' comments and barely manages to mutter, "Thank you." in response before he walks away. Then he'll look over to Jinara and say, "Here goes nothing." and cast Dispel Magic
Gaelin & Jinara- Blue arcane runes begin to glow in a circle beneath the tablet. The tablet wriggles and cracks into multiple pieces that are somehow still connected as if the tablet is expanding. Each piece shakes appearing to slowly disintegrate in a cloud of ash. Then you catch a shimmer of gold among the tiny ash clouds and notice the small form of a golden dragon coming into view. There's a bright flash and the glimmering form of the dragon rapidly expands in front of you. The golden dragon now crouched in front of you appears to be partially frozen in time crouched to strike, its mouth open and reaching to bite. The nearly 6 foot wide mouth full of sharp teeth stops inches from both your faces. You feel the intense internal heat. The mouth closes and pulls back a foot or so suddenly as time seems to return to normal. Hazilegosa sniffs the air and pulls back even further raising her head 6 feet above you and peers curiously at Jinara then at all the people standing in a semi circle around her.
Everyone else- You see a blue light on the table then a flash of arcane energy. You squint to shield your eyes and suddenly the form of a gigantic golden dragon looms in front of your friends crouched to bite at your friends. The dragon stops and pulls back examining Jinara and Gaelin and looks up at all of you. It is about this moment that you notice all of the dragonborn archivists including Epos are bowing on their knees.
"Seregos?" Hazilegosa says questioningly in a gentle hitch pitched voice that seems to carry across the wind easily. "Where am I. Where is Neltharion? Who are these people around you?" she prods staring at Jinara intently. She seems to be a bit on edge as her eyes dart from place to place then back to Jinara and Gaelin.

Jinara will place his hand on his chest (subtly casting Guidance) and bow in respect of the sight of this dragon, and his mother "I...I...I know not the words that can express my feelings in this moment, but I am honored to see you again. My form is different from our time thanks to divine intervention. You are in the Middle Islands of Eraas just outside the city of Sonas. You were magically preserved for a millennium and safely guarded in this city's most sacred library. We only recently discovered that you were alive in this stasis. The dragonkin you see are high archivists who have protected you with vigilance, and the others are my companions who have protected me. Allow me the opportunity to introduce you the individuals here and we can discuss Neltharion in greater detail." Jinara says
Hazilegosa lowers her head. "Sonas? Middle Islands? Millenia... There was only Monsigneus when I fought Neltharion." she ponders hearing this information and continues, "You say you are changed from divine power... yet you still bear the scent of you dragon body. These dragonkin... their scales are dull and bear the scent of the chromatic dragons... are they some foul creation of Neltharion?" she ask questioningly raising up her head and flames begin to lick around her mouth as she glares towards them. She still seems quite on edge.
Gaelin will clear his throat and hold up both hands in a don't attack gesture then cast Telepathic Bond on himself Jinara and the dragon. "Please allow me to assist. It appears you have been the unfortunate target of a polymorph spell. I dispelled that magic which restored you to your normal form. Neltharion was banished by Bahamut thousands of years ago. Is there someone who you would trust that I could contact or teleport you to? Are you familiar with the wizards of the Seven or the Elanaetas druids?" he asks trying to think of anyone who would be able to assist.

Mucor would squeeze Aryn's hand tightly as he closley watches the casting of the spell. When the dragon appears, he would instinctively take a step forward as though to shield her from the dragon if things go badly. The elf knew that Aryn was more capable to battle a massive dragon than he was, but was determined not to let anyone else he cared about get hurt. He would mutter a word of guidance under his breath before taking another step forward. "Jinara is telling the truth your... most mighty dragon...ness?" Mucor would reply with a nod as he attempts to help Jinara.. "My name is Mucor. I am pleased to meet you." He would add while trying to not make any sudden movements that might appear threatening.
Aryn accepts the squeeze and tugs gently when Mucor begins to move forward. She knew Gaelin would probably be able to escape with Jinara but she still worried about her brother being so close. She'd open her eyes wide and begin calculating the likelihood of getting out alive and who were the most important ones to save so they could bring back the others. She spotted Iris and knew she could take herself and Mucor with a dimension door to Iris. From there Iris could teleport them out, hopefully. She looked around the mountain top for any trees. If there were any that would be plan B. She looked at all the others, Torq, the twins, Kelgos and Cedany. All quite capable but none of us stand a chance against this dragon even fighting together.
She closes her eyes wincing when she hears Mucor speak for a second and opens them quickly to see if the dragon has started spewing fire all over the place.

Hazilegosa watches Gaelin intensely as he casts his spell and cocks her head slightly upon hearing his voice. The silence atop the mountain is near deafening when Mucor's voice cracks above the wind. Hazilegosa's head turns sharply to stare at this creature who speaks emitting a low growl followed by a short huff. Gaelin and Jinara, you both feel a wave of heat flash by as a single ray of heat is blasted towards Mucor. The ray splashes over Mucor's body and he appears to be consumed by the flame. Then a spilt second later you watch as the flames shift from red orange to green. Still enveloping Mucor's body but becoming more transparent Mucor stands singed but alive. "Silence elf." she says as a warning upon seeing him survive the blast.
Mucor you take 35 fire damage.
Gaelin and Jinara- You hear the voice of Hazilegosa in your mind say, "Banished? Not killed... It is far worse than I feared. If what you say is true much has changed. We had many wizards in my time but I am not familiar with the Seven you speak of. The Elanaetas, they still protect the balance of nature? Is he one of them? The burning one?" she asks her eyes looking over to Mucor.
"Mother n..." Jinara says knowing a dragon's breath movement, but it was too late as the flame engulfs Mucor. Seeing what occurred, he returns to his normal state and hears the words in his head. "Yes. Banished to the Shadowfell; however, he left his presence here in various ways. We know he is making efforts to come back. We have already encountered an avatar of his." Jinara responds quickly (subconsciously making an attempt to show his worth to his mother).
"Yes. The elanaetas still do. Mucor, the burning one is not part of their order. However, he is a trusted friend of ours. If you like I can take us to the Druid grove and you can meet with Inara." Gaelin says in his mind. He was beginning to think this was a bad idea but was still hopeful, knowing how hard it must be to have been trapped for so many years. He began to think leaving Valeera behind at the castle was a mistake and he wished she was there to help the negotiations.
Mucor would cover his face as the flames wash over him in an instant. "I... don't like dragons..." He would mutter through clenched teeth as he attempts to pat out the flames dancing along his clothes and singed hair. He would then place his charred hand on his own chest and cast cure wounds (at second level) as some of his blistering skin seems to mend itself....

"Shall we?"
Mucor- you notice the flames remain around you but are vivid green. Within the flickering flames you see your wildfire spirit and as you cast your spell you heal an additional: 8 HP.

(Here we go Gaelin here we go! Hoo hoo!)
Aryn would maneuver next to Mucor and softly grab his hand while they watch whatever happens.
Time seems to slow as Gaelin casts his spell.

Whatever anyone says, make a persuasion check!
Torq will remain silent and still not wanting to provoke the giant dragon standing next to his friends.

(yeah I rolled pretty crappy)

Jinara watches in awe as his mother takes a beautiful new form. He turns to Gaelin "Should Inara come here? would that be more efficient?"
