Mucor would make his way out of the room and try to find his companions. Assuming he leaves his room before Yera, he will make his way towards Gabriel. "I see you have made some new friends!" The minotaur would say to the Aasimar with a smile. "I am happy to see that." Mucor would say grabing a nearby chair and bringing it to the table. "hope you all don't mind if I grab a seat here as well." He would say as he sits down with a loud creak of the chair before moving some of his shaggy hair out of his eyes. "Daisey, would you mind bringing another round of ale to the table for my friends please?" he would say with a smile.
Daisy smiles, "Of course darlin" and heads towards the bar for another round. The human male welcomes the addition and says, "Your group is always welcome here. We were just talking about where your group is plannin to go next"
"I had voted to take down the dragon myself' The minotaur will say stretching out his arms and folding his hands behind his head. "I have always wanted to meet a dragon and who knows.. maybe it could be reasoned with and convinced to help the town" Mucor would say with a smile.
"Ah yes. I heard Asheborne was asking for aid. The capital is aware of the issue but I'm guessing the war to the south is taking up all the available soldiers. Good luck to ya. A dragon is nothing to mess with." the dwarf says.
Gabriel acknowledges Mucor with a nod and turns back to the dwarf. "Your stained clothes denote a recent campaign. Have you any news of the proceedings of the enemy? "
"Aye" the dwarf says looking around at the young soldiers to make sure no one is paying attention. "We stopped em cold at the Meryn valley in the south east but they broke through the lines in the desert plain on the south west and gained 5 miles before we could regroup. The lines seem to have stabilized for the moment but that was 2 weeks ago." Gesturing to himself and the group around him, "They sent us back to get more recruits for the front. At least the Thettarus kingdom has been sending small groups of reinforcements for the past 3 months hoping the Drekthar won't break through the Azuven barrier to reach their kingdom." his features turn into a scowl, "The Lural kingdom of bastards refuses to send aid and has all their soldiers and citizens building a wall around their entire southern border. They seem to think a wall will stop the orc and undead hordes... Fools if the Drekthar break through the Azuven and Thettarus kingdoms over a million zombies will break through any wall. That's just on Telgun. If the same happens to the kingdoms on Zhora.." He trails off looking away as the human male places his hand on the dwarf's shoulder.
"That's not going to happen Bronmir." chimes in the human male "We've got control of the seas so they can't get reinforcements from Zhora. We can push them back over time as long as we hold the sea."
How long though? How long before they regain the seas? How long before the other kingdoms realize the Drekthar are knocking on their doorstep Xavius?" the dwarf responds grunting.
Gabriel listens intently and stores the information away. With a word of thanks he turns to Mucor, his eyes burning feverishly. "What do you say, friend? Our blades are needed on the front lines. Let us make Vaeril bleed!" This unprecedented show of emotion indicates that this is what Gabriel lives for; the thrill of battle, the slaying of undead, and the reaping of sin.
Without so much as an introduction, the tiefling woman cut in with a bemused laugh. [bold]“The front lines are a death sentence, just as they are in any war my friend.”[/bold] She turned towards the two adventurers with a cat-like grin. [bold]”I have to admire your fire, though. Who are you folks?”[/bold]
(Thanks! And don’t worry Wreck, you’re too much fun to be bored of. Freakin mobile, ugh)
Mucor will extend a large hand across the table towards the tiefling, causing spores and a few crumbs of dirt fall from the shaggy hair on his arm. "My name is Mucor, We arrived into town a few days ago and have been doing what we can to help out ever since" The minotaur will say with a wide smile. "Who might you be?"
“Jubilant Lognare.” She said, firmly returning the handshake. “Bit of a wandering sell-sword. Been traveling with the army for a few months now, pleased our paths have crossed, min vän.”

Gabriel offers a gloved hand as he regards the tiefling. "A pity that the one thing we fear the most is the one thing that cannot be averted. Gabriel, Sin Reaper."
"She's definitely handy" the dwarf says with a grin.
"Here ya go dear" Daisy says as she returns with the round of ale for the table. "Gimmie a holler if ya need anything else." and walks off to tend to other tables.
Raising his full mug the human male Xavius says, "To new friends. May the ale be cold and your weapons strike true."
"Pleasure to make you're acquaintance, Gabriel." Jubilant said. "I've heard a bit about you and your friends," she said to Mucor and Gabriel. "Not much, but I am the sort to keep my ear to the ground. Always curious to see a group of talented fighters in action. Did I mishear, or are you planning your next adventure?"

Mucor would grab one of the mugs and take a large swig, nearly downing most of the ale within before putting down the glass. "So I want to get rid of these orcs and undead as much as anybody... but I want to do what is best for the town as well. If we run off to the front lines.. who is going to defend the flank and this town." Mucor would say looking not only to Gabriel but the tiefling and soldiers at the table. "i think we should stay close and do what we can to help out around here while taking every opportunity we can to protect the flanks of those on the front lines.." The minotaur will say as he downs the rest of his ale.
Gabriel considers this proposition. "Perhaps we should consult with Yera on this matter." He turns to his new tiefling acquaintance. "One need not leave their front door to have an adventure, I have often found."
In her room, Yera shudders awake. Her hands trembling as she grasps the blanket. She can't get her body to move as she stares wide-eyed into the ceiling above her. After a few moments this paralysis wares off, and she immediately sits up. The terror of the nightmare washed away after remembering the encounter with her goddess. "I won't fail you" She whispers.
Jumping out of bed, the halfling hastily dons her armor and rushes down to the common area. There was a fire in her eyes as she addressed her companions, "Friends! How wonderful it is to see you. Great tidings, I bring: the path forward has been shown to me, a goal laid bare before my feet!" She hangs on her words with a triumphant smile, "We must leave for the front as soon as possible. Tonight even!"
"Well, you're an excitable one," Jubilant said as Yera began speaking, smiling as she took a long slow drink of her ale. She looked down at the cat in her lap, as if to ask its opinion on the matter. "Even if you are brave—or foolish—enough to go to the front lines, traveling at night is asking for an attack from bandits or an enemy war party. Are you sure it would be wise for you all to leave now?"

"Welp, I guess that settles that. I suppose that the dragon can wait..." Mucor will say with a big grin, happy to see that Yera was in much better spirits than last he saw her. "I take it you had a nice long rest then?" The minotaur will say as he flags down daisey to order a drink for Yera. " I had a nice dream as well.. it started out a little rought but the ending was nice...So did you have the same dream about a pretty pointy eared woman telling us to keep up the good work than as well?" Mucor will say locking eyes with the halfling.
"Jubilant has a point about traveling at night, but if you're heading to the front you could ride with us. We head out tomorrow morning... speaking of which." Xavius says as he stands and with a wave of his hand his now amplified voice shouts, "Alright you lot, finish your drinks and report to Lt. Burnside in the barracks immediately. Long journey tomorrow to the front so I hope you've enjoyed your respite." Xavius sits down watching the soldiers quickly down their drinks as the scatter out of the tavern and looks back at the group with a smile. "If ya choose not to accompany us, best of luck and again we appreciate your help."
"Aye" Bromir says wiping the foam from his beard. "Thank ye."
(Everyone is still at the tavern and the two are still downstairs.)
