Aryn's eyes begin to tear up as Gaelin rushes in to help. His assurances that Mucor was moving again did little to console her. She'd pace back and forth before sitting then stand and pace again going in a revolving pattern of worry while the hours pass. She'd watch as the vines lift and curl around the stone tomb then begin to doubt as she noticed the other trees. When the tree begins to glow her heart leaps in her chest and as Mucor exits the tree tears of joy begin to stream down her face. She meets him halfway before they embrace. When they release one another she'll clear her throat and pass Mucor his clothes, blushing slightly. "They came to save you. We thought you were going to die." she says softly before turning to Inara and asking. "Inara, is there anything else that needs to be done? How can we ever thank you?"
Gaelin is somewhat surprised at the tender embrace between naked Mucor and Aryn, who is wearing just a dress? Mildly confused but amused and happy that Mucor is alive he shrugs and says, "Surprise!" with spirit fingers. "I'm glad you made it through. Your new look is uh... nice." he says trying to keep his eyes from looking below Mucor's face.
(OOC: I was tempted... for like... 3 seconds to have Mucor come out looking exactly like Gaelin but I thought that might be a bit weird :D Since you were TOUCHING MY BONES)
Mucor would take the clothes and smile, still not entirly realizing the gravity of being naked. When Aryn asks Inara if anything needs done, The muscular naked would rush towards her and extend his hand. "Please.. that must have been exhausting... allow me to help" He would say as he casts greater restoration on her. Then looking to Gaelin once more he would smile. "It is a nice surprise to see you. Thank you for your assistance... I... Didn't realize there were complications with the spell.." Mucor would say with a bit of a frown. "I must admit.. I don't remember much of the last 24 hours.. but it was much more painful than I had anticipated.." he would add with a look of concern as he glances around towards the group.
(OOC:Mucor is still just holding the clothes in his arms naked by the way.)
"Thank you Mucor. I'm fine, just.. tired. I was worried we'd lost you. That ritual is an ordeal for both parties but I think you had the worst of it. I believe your clothes may be a bit large... but still best to put them on before the crowd arrives. It's been a long time since this spell was performed. You'll be a legend among the druids here. Nothing is required and you've all done the world a favor by ridding us of Daegon, it is the least we could do." Inara replies with a small bow. She touches her brow and you see a small glow of arcane energy from her hand. "I've sent word to our tailor and armorsmith to craft you a leather tunic more suited to your new form. They should have it ready first thing in the morning. We should rest. We can reconvene in the morning." she adds leading the group out of the garden. It is about this moment that you notice the scene looks exactly the same as when you entered it. Moonlit garden with glowing flowers and plants and the same floating bubbles of light that hover above your heads. The grove is spectacularly beautiful at night. The paths are all illuminated by glowing mushrooms and mosses. The willow trees blossoms glow and appear as beacons among the dark expanse of the forest grove. You are led to the same earthen structure where you spend the night previously and find it cool and comfortable. The structure has a number of private room with soft mossy beds that are covered in a fluffy cotton like linen.
Jinara and Zinamer have their interaction, Torq does whatever he wants for the day and the evening comes to a close.
(If anyone wants to do anything in particular for this day feel free to post. Time in the grove: 9 pm.)
Mucor nod to Inara. "Thank you again. Let me know if there is ever anything I can do to assist the grove." He would say eagerly before turning towards is companions. He would then begin quickly putting on his clothes, first putting on a large shirt that he normally wore under his breastplate and let out a large laugh as he held out his arms and spun around. The bottom of the shirt would fan out like a dress before moving to put on his pants. As he begins pulling them up, he would take a moment to hold them open wide as he could and grin at the amount of space inside. "HA! Look at that Aryn, There is enough room in my pants for the both of us!" He would say with a chuckle before tightening his belt to the point that they looked like parachute pants. He would proceed with picking up more loose items for a moment or so before freezing and slowly looking towards the elf. "I uhh.. I meant cause my pants are so big.. I.. wasn't trying to get into your pants.. I MEAN MY PANTS!.. I... nevermind." The tan woodelf would exclaim as his face turned bright red and he quickly collected his belinging faster than before.
He'll take the twins up to the monastery and spar with Zinmaer and each other in the morning.
He'll have a spa day after sparring with the twins and maybe some leisure time.
He'll speak with Herbert about Mucor to check in then talk about the location of his village and see if he can transport him there once everyone returns from the feywild.
Gaelin will turn his head away to conceal his smile and begin to walk away slowly with Valeera (human form) after Mucor speaks. He'll follow closely behind Inara leaving plenty of room for the two love birds and try his best not to laugh, snicker or make eye contact with Aryn while they walk. "Well goodnight. Glad you're alive Mucor." he says turning into one of the rooms holding/ pulling Valeera in with him and shuts the door.
"It's good to see others in love..." he whispers to Valeera.. unsure of his feelings.
Gaelin-"Do you think so?" Valeera says seeing through the comment and peers at Gaelin questioningly. "When was the last time you saw Aryn this happy or worried about someone other than you? Your protective insight is adorable but you know Mucor. Aryn would eat him alive if he ever did anything to her. She almost took his hand off for touching her stuff." she says with a chuckle sitting on the corner of the bed. "Come to bed. There's nothing we can do about it tonight." She adds playfully patting the spot beside her.
Torq- You take the morning to fly about the seemingly empty castle that is full of civilians, workers and soldiers but absent of your friends. You fly up to a window of the tower and see Jianra face obscured as he flips from page to page in a book and know he is occupied for the day. You resign to indulge in some sport seeing Zinmaer at the monastery and wake the twins who gladly accept the playful challenge of sparring. You train and battle one another until you're all drenched in sweat. You bow to Zinmaer and head off towards the spa pool. You take an hour to flutter and tediously clean yourself, a process that normally only takes ten minutes is extended by two spirited females that splash and flirt to distract your attentions. Upon finishing your bath you make your way to the massage tables and allow yourself to relax as the masseuse stretches and rubs out the multiple knots in your muscles. After your massages and dining with the twins in the dining hall you bid them adieu for the time being so you can fly to the grove.
You find Herbert who informs you of Mucor's progress, mishap and recovery. "...Still a few hours to go but everything seems to be back to normal." he says. You ask him about his knowledge of the area around your village and he informs you that he is familiar and can transport you within a couple miles of the area upon your request. Satisfied by this response, you thank Herbert and return to visit the twins who welcome you by pouncing on you. You attempt to resist but fall into their trap and spend the night in their quarters.
Aryn would immediately blush at Mucor's first comment and look away taking a single long breathe. Then as the realization hit Mucor, she'd half snort at how long it took him to realize the connotation of what he just said. "It's okay big fella... you've had a long couple of days." she says smiling patting him on the head and rustling his hair. "You do good work Inara. I don't even feel any bumps where the horns were." her heart beat rapidly but she did her best to hold it at bay. She felt so conflicted internally as the two of them followed behind the others. She loved him. He loved her and was willing to die to be with her. So why was she fighting this so much.
When they got to their lodgings she wanted to speak with Gaelin but he just hurried off and left her alone with Mucor. She needed to talk to someone but couldn't talk to Mucor because it was her feelings for him that she wanted to discuss. She felt exhausted and hungry wanting to rest but needed to say something, anything. She felt Mucor's eyes staring at her longingly, eagerly waiting for her to do something. She turned and smiled at Mucor as compassionately as she could. "Mucor... I... I don't know what to do from here but I think we should just go to sleep... in our own rooms tonight. I don't want to rush into anything just yet and I don't want to break you. I love you... that's all I know right now and that's all I can say. We both need some rest..." she says gripping his hand, her body swimming with ideas and emotions."We can talk more in the morning." She'd lean in and kiss his forehead then turn to walk to her room and close the door.
Mucor would smile and nod in agreement as as she held her hand. "I love you too. Thank you for everything you did today. It sounds like I would be dead if not for your quick thinking." The tall elf would say before he allows his smile to fade a bit as he locks eyes with Aryn. "I don't want you to to think anything has changed... I mean... well... It has" He would say looking down at his hands as they hold Aryn's "But not between us. My feelings for you tonight are the same as they were yesterday and I don't want you to think that now that I'm no longer a minotaur... that I expect you to change or that my expectations have changed." He would laugh a bit and smile once more. "I am not very good with words.. but I guess I am trying to say that there is no pressure for anything to change, I believe that there have been quite a few changes today already" He would say with a small chuckle that you are sure would have been a snort only 24 hours ago. When she gives him a kiss and mentions talking in the morning, he would smile and reply. "Looking forward to it, sleep well." before turning and heading to his own room, occasionally stretching and jumping as though giving his new body a test drive.
The morning comes and you each feel well rested. Aryn, Mucor, Gaelin and Valeera each emerge from their rooms and walk out into the grove. Inara stands looking much better then when you left her. The bags under her eyes are gone and she appears to be in her normally perky mood. "Good morning everyone. It appears everything when successfully. How do you feel Mucor, do you have any soreness? You'll find walking relatively easy but running and jumping are a bit different. Your roughly the same size but there are a few new things and a few missing things you'll have to discover on your own time. Won't you join us for breakfast before you depart?" she says motioning to the bonfires int eh distance that already have a crowd lining up. The breeze carries with it the sweet and savory smells of meats and fruit. "Also, here are your new clothes and armor." she says holding out a bundle of pants, shirt, and leather curiass as well as boots, which until now you've never had a use for.
Mucor- You attempted to sleep normally but are unable to do so. Instead you struggled to find sleep until you began to think of the grove and Aryn. You enter a sort of trance that feels strangely familiar but completely foreign at the same time. You pass the night adjusting to this state of meditation but eventually come to grips with it. Despite your fumbling through sleep and trance you still awaken 2 hours early. You decide to take this time to think about what just happened and adjust to your body as you move around slowly then quickly testing your reflexes and agility.
"Thank you, I'm starving." Mucor would reply as he rubs his sleepy eyes. He would then eagerly he take the new clothes and armor. "These look very well made, impressive craftsmanship, I cannot express my gratitude for all that you have done for me..." He would say with a deep nod. "I... think i'll change my clothes first before attending breakfast... But I do have many questions... I guess I don't know how sleeping works" He would say with a yawn before excusing himself and heading to his room to change. Once there he would quickly remove his old clothing and place it into his pack before donning the new equipment. He would smile as he examined himself before returning to the others for breakfast.
"Ah yes.. it's part of elven heritage. We don't sleep similar to other races. Aryn will be able to aid in adjusting to this as well." Inara replies. You make your way to the buffet and partake in the delicious foods available. A small crowd forms around Mucor as others wish to get a glimpse of someone who survived the ritual.
(If anyone has any questions for Inara or the other druids before you leave the grove ask now or forever hold your peace.)
Gaelin will scarf down some food and build up the courage to pull Inara aside. "Hey Inara, we're about to make a trip to the feywild. Valeera is going to visit some friends of hers and I was wondering... Have you ever been? If so, do you have any tips, places or things to avoid?"
"Yes, though explaining it may be difficult. I've always done it but I can share a few tips on mantras to calm the soul." Aryn replies as her stomach rumbles at the smell of the food. Aryn was starving from not eating during Mucor's transformation. She'd pace herself and eat some vegetables slowly for about a minute allowing her stomach to expand before devouring the meats and fruits left on her plate. Once she's finished eating she'll stand and hug Inara saying, "Thank you so much. I think Mucor may finally be happy."
Mucor would dive right into breakfast, loading his plate up to the point of nearly overflowing before digging in. He would do his best to use the proper utensils and eat the right way.. but would eat very fast, shoveling in piece after piece of meat and cheese and vegetables. "This tastes so good... " he would say as a few crumbs fall from his mouth. He would give a smile to Aryn before looking towards Gaelin and Valeera. "Did you two sleep well? How soon before we depart to the Feywild?" He would ask as he wipes his mouth with the back of his hand.
Inara's smile fades and turns to an inquisitive frown. "You plan to visit friends... in the feywild?" she asks rhetorically. "I have visited that plane on numerous occasions. It is a place of beauty and danger. I do not know which section of the wilds you plan on visiting but I must caution you... Do not go beyond the area of the waning sun. The feywilds are similarly laid out to Eraas. There are two land masses and islands in between them. Each continent is surrounded by the crystal sea, a clear water ocean full of dangerous creatures. The sun rises in the north and sets in the south but never truly sets. The southern portions of each continent are part of the twilight realm controlled by the Queen of Air and Darkness. She is a ruthless and jealous being. Should you enter her domain, you would be hard pressed to leave. That is not to say the areas of daylight aren't dangerous, you should always be on your guard... but be vigilant and pay attention to the levels of sunlight around."
Jinara and Torq have finished their work and had their interactions with Zinmaer. The first day has past and the morning of the 2nd day begins as Aryn, Gaelin, Mucor and Valeera eat their breakfast at the grove.
"I see... Thank you. We will do our best not to venture out and about." Gaelin replies growing a bit pale at Inara's description of the plane. He turns back to Valeera smiling and sits down as if nothing's wrong and eats a bit more. "We sleep wonderfully. Sounds like you have to break in this new body a bit before you can do too much. We can leave for the feywilds tomorrow if that works for everyone. We'll check in with Jinara and Torq once we return... speaking of, we should probably head back." Gaelin adds thinking about how little correspondence they had with the other two members of their group. He and Valeera jsut up and left them without a goodbye or explanation... They could be in trouble or dead and he wouldn't know. He'd quickly cast Sending targeting each of them with the same message. "Hey, we're in the grove with Mucor. We should be coming back within the hour. Everything good back at the castle?"
