"Thank you. I appreciate the offer but I think I'll stay here with the girls and keep watch over the castle. It will also be good to have at least one of the group remain behind to alert the others if anything should happen." Torq replies with a bow. Truth be told, he wasn't really interested in visiting libraries and reading books. He was willing to go but if he had a choice he would much rather stay and play, train with the twins.
"Oh we'd definitely be back in time. We'll only travel while Aryn and Mucor are away. I still have to come back and help Torq." Gaelin says to Jinara then turns to Torq, "I understand. We will return soon so that you can visit your former village. Have Herbert contact me if anything happens."
(We really Scooby Doo'n this thing and splitting up the gang for a couple days? What's the worst that could happen.)
Mucor would nod to Gaelin and give him a smile. "Thanks! I don't expect any problems or any danger... So long as I don't do anything to upset your sister that is" He would reply with a grin and a snort. "It will be nice to relax and get a bit of fresh air." He would add looking to Aryn. "A good time to get to know eather other a bit better." He would finish before looking down at his his plate as though suddenly distracted a bit.
(Let's split up gang! I'll bring the scooby snacks.)
"Gaelin, do you happen to know the larger northern cities in the Lural Kingdom? If so perhaps we could hitch a ride with you, if that's one of your destinations." Aryn suggests.
(Gaelin, because you took the time with Varian, you would know the teleportation sigils for the two major cities and capital of the Lural Kingdom in you memory.)
"Certainly. Varian showed me the sigils for the three largest cities in the Lural kingdom. Do you have a preference of which one? If not we'll head to Onilas." Gaelin replies. "Give me a moment to pack my things and take care of a couple things and we'll meet you back here in an hour? If that works for you all..." he adds looking at Jinara.
(Thanks for the pm with info and reminder of the campaign notes Xtra!)
"That will work. We'll see you in a bit. Torq, we'll see you in a couple days. Have fun but not too much fun without us." Aryn says with a wink and head back to her quarters. While she's walking away she'll turn to Mucor and say, "Pack light, and lose the staff. Don't carry more than 100 gold on you and watch your pockets at all times. We'll pick you up some clothes once we're in the city and try our best to blend in."
"Lose the staff... oh.. ok" Mucor would reply as he gives Aryn a nod before returning to the grove. Once there he would stab his staff into the ground outside the monastery and utter the command word to turn it into a tree. He would then go inside and remove all of most of his weapons and his shield. he would leave only a very crude looking sickle attached to his hip. He would then dig through his belongings and put a set of plain looking travelers clothes that he would slide on over top of his leather armor. With his armor hidden and his coin pouch much lighter, the only sign that the elf might have anything of value would be the number of rings on his hands. He would then make his way back to Aryn.
Torq bows. If he was capable of smiling he would at Aryn's words. He simply replies. "Yes ma'am. Safe travels to you all. I'll come back to watch you depart as well." He'd fly off and grab the girls to bring them up to the dining hall so they could bid the others farewell.
Jinara would head back to the tower and instruct iris to begin researching all things dragon, specifically gold ones. How many have their been since ththe cataclysm, what are their unique traits, what are their personality characteristics, are their any noted as being alive today.
He will get iris to cast Detect Magic 3 times into his ring and Knock once.
He will exchange a few things from his pockets with a few other items he had in his chest, change his shirt to a fresh one, re-don his cloak, then head out to meet with Gaelin.
Gaelin will leave Valeera and the others and head to his chambers and drop off some of his belongings before heading up to Valeera's den. "You're welcome to accompany us. We might be able to find out more about your kind."
After speaking with Valeera he'd head back down to the dining hall and prepare to cast Teleportation Circle targeting Onilas once everyone is ready. "We'll see you soon Torq." he says just before they disappear.
Once Aryn returned to her room she'd disrobe and put on a simple dress over her leather armor and to slide the Sun Blade hilt into her hidden belt of daggers. She'd stow her bow, swords and quiver in her smaller bag of holding as well as her bracers. Pulling out a nice brush she'd let her purple hair fall and brush it free of kinks before putting her cloak back over her dress. When Mucor knocked she'd let him in and say, "Just a moment more." while she packed the remainder of her things. She'd turn around finally looking at him and nod. "Not bad. The rings are a bit much but you're an elf now so it's acceptable. Watch out for thieves though." she says with a wink and slide the magical satchel over her shoulder appearing as a regular citizen and make her way to the dining hall.
Valeera smiles and bows slightly. "I am at your service my love. An easy adventure is just what we need. Let's make the best of it shall we." she says and kisses you on the cheek. Each of you make your preparations and gather back together in the dining hall where Herbert, Torq the twins and a few others have gathered to wish you luck on your journey. You all say your goodbyes as Gaelin draws the ornate runes on the floor. As he finishes the runes illuminate with arcane energy and the floor flashes as each person steps into the circle and vanishes.
Everyone beside Torq- Your vision goes white as you are magically transported across the world in an instant and arrive in a large room with a glowing teleportation circle on the floor. You make your way through the singular door to a large circular chamber of doors. In the center of the chamber stand 7 mages who watch over the doors. One looks inquisitively at the group and says, "Welcome. Please state your names and reason for your visit for the record."
"You look nice" Mucor would say with a smile as Aryn opens the door. "I like your hair that way.. not that I don't like your hair normally.... I mean i like your hair all the time but it just looks really nice now." He would add as he fumbles around with his own own bag of holding. He would then follow closley behind Aryn. When they arrive at their destination surrounded by mages, the elf would look up and smile. "Hi, my friend Gaelin was helping the two of us to... uhh... visit some family I guess you could say." Mucor would reply gesturing to Gaelin before placing his arm on Aryn's shoulder.

Gaelin takes a step forward clear his throat and says, "We are the Lightbringers. Our business here is our own. Some of us are simply traveling while we three would like to request access to the library here. We are investigating a matter of importance. and would appreciate your assistance." he motions to Jinara, Valeera and himself as he finishes.
Persuasion or Deception: 21 (bow before me mortal!)
The mage bows nervously and looks up saying, "Yes, of course. Members of the seven are welcome at all times. Thank you for your visit. Please follow me." he says and bows again before escorting you through one of the doors. As he exits another mage enters to take his place and gives a small bow of acknowledgement to you all. You walk up a series of winding stairs passing by various floor until you are brought to a circular chamber that appears to serve as a lobby. The mage bows and says, "You're friends who are here on a personal visit can exit the structure here. For those who are here to observe the various tomes within our library, you can follow me."
(After saying your goodbyes to Aryn and Mucor)
Aryn & Mucor- You walk over to a long table where two mages stand attentively aiding various passers by. A female mage nods and motions you over. "Welcome Lightbringers. How may we be of assistance in guiding you on your way?"
Gaelin, Jinara & Valeera- The same mage waits patiently as you converse with Aryn and Mucor then guides you up another few flights of stairs until you are brought to square floor that has 4 doors. You are led to the eastern door and enter to find a large multi-floor library with bookshelves lining the walls. Between you and the walls of books sits a single table with three clerks stationed behind it. Looking around you see a few persons who walk around, more as guards than purveyors of books and you see a few tables that are occupied by individuals reading. You follow behind your guide who approaches the table of clerks and says, "We have a visit from the Lightbringers. They wish to peruse our vast library. Please be sure to assist them." He bows and takes his leave of you, while the clerk looks up and says, "So how can we be of service?"
"Well... have you ever heard of the Loramenor estate? You would know how to get there would you? they have an angular silver and dark grey crest that bears a blossoming three petal flower of pink with purple highlights" Mucor would ask with a smile. "And what do you think Aryn, do you think we should rent some horses.?"

Mage History: 3
"Ah yes... the Loramenor estate. It's on the outskirts of Yeim (major city in Lural Kingdom) far to the east. If you plan to travel by horse it will take you quite some time to reach it. The shortest route will take you across a narrow mountain pass and take anywhere from 6 to 10 days depending on weather and how fast you ride. The longer and safer route takes you north around the mountains and will take around 14 to 20 days, weather permitting of course. For members of the seven, horse rental is 40 gold for a draft horse, 60 gold for a riding horse and 350 gold for a warhorse. For non-Seven members the cost is 50 gold for a draft horse, 75 gold for a riding horse and 400 gold for a warhorse. The prices are per steed. Will you be traveling together or do you require a steed of your own." she says with a helpful smile.
Both of your passive insights are high enough to gauge that this mage is wholly unaware of who you are. Looking around you see many common folk either that appear to be visiting or just looking around, some being accompanied by children. You would assume this floor is for the general public and your clothing matches those around you.
