(yeah I will wait, the spell lasts 10 minutes and was just going to place it as a deterrent when they got close but they may take longer than 10 minutes to get close lol!)
Zinmaer would approach Gabriel, "If you do not mind then I do believe I could be patched up a bit! I am feeling quite fortunate that we took down those giant beasts without any casualties." He looks down and adjusts the blood covered wrappings around his hands.
(so do we need to go somewhere for extraction? If so Mucor would lower his head and begin stampeding through he darkness towards the location required)
Jinara would begin walking over to Gabriel and Zinmaer, place his hand on Gabriel's shoulder and say in celestial "Save your strength. We still have a journey back to the rendezvous point, and we may need your healing abilities along the journey." Jinara turns to Zinmaer and hands him a potion of healing and says in common "Here take this."
Zinmaer takes the potion from Jinara and says, "Ahhh, perfect! You know these things can taste quite refreshing! He then turns it up and finishes it in one gulp.

"We should probably start making our way out of here sooner rather than later." He would say to Gabriel, Jinara and the rest of the group if they are close. (Jinara just autocorrected to Marinara for me lol)
(Yes, the rendezvous is 1200 feet south at your original drop off point. It will take you roughly 2 minutes to reach it going full bore. The caravan is roughly 3 minutes from your current position.)
Jinara will follow Mucor towards the pick-up and will watch the light coming from the caravan to make sure they aren't trying to intercept our getaway.
Following Mucor's lead you are able to successfully reach the rendezvous spot without being spotted by the caravan. The temperature seems to drop rapidly and a cool steady breeze begins to whip dirt into the air. The sky to the brightens as lightning illuminates the once unseen clouds in the darkness. You wait for about a minute before you see the group of griffon riders flying in. Seemingly out of no where Ailema lands her black griffon next to Gabriel and Jinara. "Excellent work you did. I trust none escaped to tell the tale." As she speaks the other griffon riders land and hop off to congratulate the group. Ailema glares up into the sky then back at her crew and shouts, "We aren't out of the muck yet. Get back to your birds and saddle up." As the words leave her mouth a flash of light illuminates the night sky as a bolt of lightning strikes the top of the rocky outcrop behind you. Thunder booms and the sound of rain hits your ears moments before you feel the trickle of water turn into a full blown rain storm.
The thick heavy beads of water bounce off armor and instantly soaks your clothes. You mount up and take off in the rain towards headquarters. As you pass over the enemy front line a flash of light off to the north makes your vision flash white. As you wait for your vision to clear a voice speaks within your head. "Insolent fools! Your momentary victory will be short lived. I have arrived. All Telgun will fall just as you will." You feel an intense searing pain in your mind and your vision goes dark.
You awake lying on a cot in a large tent. Looking around you see Yera sitting next to Gabriel who lies bandaged on a larger cushioned cot. Yera rushes over to your sides and says, “You blacked out when we got the message. Luckily most of you were able to stay on the griffons. Gabriel… Gabriel fell… Ailema saw it happen and almost caught him but she was too late. The priest says he should make a full recovery if he is able to wake up but he hasn’t moved at all.” The sound of the thunderstorm echoes through the thin tent that doesn’t shield from sound. The priest walks over to you both and says, “Good, you’re awake. You’ve been out an hour or so. I suggest you get some rest and we’ll wake you if anything happens.” Still weak from the effects of the spell and the previous battle your eyes soon close and you fall back asleep.
All except Gabriel: You wake up the following morning in your cots unsure of how exactly you go there. Yera, seeing that all of you are awake informs you of what happened last night. “When the lightning flashed it nearly hit Gabriel, after the voice spoke you all blacked out. I heard Gillethe say “Hope” and was jarred awake. I looked around at the others and you were all slumped over. Then I saw Gabriel’s griffon without him on it and noticed Ailema was gone as well. We swooped down to follow and found Ailema kneeling by Gabriel’s lifeless body. She quickly poured a healing potion into his mouth and picked him up strapping him to her griffon. We could hear the sound of the zombie horde’s moans as they rushed towards us and saw the crowds of lifeless faces coming towards us with each flash of lightning. When we arrived, they rushed all of you to the triage tent. None of the griffon riders or soldiers here heard the voice… only us. JInara and Jubilant woke up after about an hour but fell back asleep. I went to sleep shortly after that and woke up just a few...”
You all feel tired even with your rest. A cool sensation still lingers in your mind and you still hear a slight echo of the voice speaking occasionally. As Yera stops talking you hear the sound of Gabriel stirring in his cot. You see him prop himself up shakily and look around at the unexpected surroundings.
Gabriel: You have one point of exhaustion
Utter darkness encompasses your vision. Your entire body aches and your head seems to have nails being hammered into it. You struggle to move but are unable, your vision begins to clear and you’re back in Riverwood. You feel fine and the pain disappears. You see a mother chasing after a happy child. A familiar voice returns laughing maniacally and with it the pain set in, the town, mother and child are all engulfed in a whirlwind of fire and turn to ash and rubble. Your sight is pulled from your body and you watch as your body falls to the ground and lies in a broken heap. Your vision fades to black. You hear Yera’s voice nearby talking about something and open your eyes. You see the underside of a tent and raise yourself up partially to look down upon your body which is covered in wraps of cloth. Your muscles and bones ache from simply propping yourself up. You hear Yera stop talking as your companions turn to look at you and rush to your side.

Need a survival check, either 2 people can do it or 1 person with advantage.
Mucor will do it with advantage! Taking the lead!

Gabriel bows his head and trudges along after his companions.
