SilverTongue runs forward, but is not actually able to see the last kobold due to the winding tunnel.
It is obvious to Lily that she is too far to catch the last fleeing kobold and instead turns her interest towards the body of the kobold that has been killed by the party in this cavern. She searches meticulously (investigation 25 on discord), but finds only 1GP on the kobold. She can see a couple of more areas where the kobolds might have stored or tried to hide their treasures, and in addition, there is something else that catches her eye on the floor underneath the body. Some of the soil and dirt of this room doesn't seem to be 'real'.
The last kobold runs again as far as his ugly little legs are carrying him, but he is limping and he knows he won't get away. So he shouts as loud as he can: 'aaragah aaragah, errragidies!!' Oleksi cannot see the kobold anymore because of the winding of the path.
Blake is trying to really convince the weasel that he doesn't mean him any harm, by pulling things from his backpack, making a lot of noise, swearing when he gets his hands on a variety of items that he doesn't need right now, with the rations stuck all the way at the bottom.
The weasel, scared for his life, being attacked, blinded, hurt, then comforted all of a sudden by Blake, spooks again at the noises Blake makes with his backpack and runs past his outstretched hand towards the exit of the cave system.
Oleksi follows the kobold deeper into the winding warren and sees him not too far in front of him. Again he uses his thorn whip to stop the opponent from running away, but when it makes impact, it takes the little kobold down and he falls dead to the ground.
Everything falls quiet for a moment, then the bone chilling noises of small animals like the tapping from cockroaches and chewing on bones from rats start up again.
[OOC: you're out of combat, what are you all doing?]
Oleksi will take a few moments to gather the kobold bodies and pray for them. Every life is important and when one ends the spirit must find its way to the Worldsoul.
Blake doesn't bother to attack or grab at the weasel as it runs past. His momentary dismay at seeing it escape is quickly forgotten as he sees Oleksi begin to gather and pray for the deceased kobolds. Wanting to help, he conjures up the dancing lights again, placing them around the area to help illuminate the scene.
Oleksi casts a spell on himself that he used very often back in the day of his tribe, running for miles and miles in grasslands and forests: Longstrider.
Then, he starts leading the party through the rest of the tunnel.
Now that you have spent a bit of time here, you feel like this may be the nesting areas of some of the lower kobolds. The ground here is covered with a number of piles of straw, cloth, and leaves—most of which are wet and smelly. The only other remarkable thing are small openings in the walls. Crude pictures have been painted on the walls here; most depicting kobolds doing horrible things to people and other larger humanoids, possibly orcs.
After you take the dead kobolds to one corner and say your prayers, you move onwards, deeper into the warren.
While you're all moving forward as quietly as possible, Oleksi hits a rock with his hooves and it makes quite a bit of racket. When you enter the next cavern, there are four kobolds, looking straight at you.
