Boo looks up Miri and shares all she knows about the shop with her and anyone else in the group who cares to listen... then Boo if Miri or any of the others go on inside the shop, she will quietly follow them inside... rather curious and interested in seeing what exactly is inside and perhaps talking to the owner who no doubt must be a rather eccentric individual to own and run such a unique shop.
Boo relays the following: The Xoblob shop is a curiosity shop that sells all matter of items, all of them purple. Its a fixture going back generations. It sticks out in your memory because of a story you heard about the last person to buy the store. He tried to rename the store after himself, and everyone kept calling it "the old Xoblob Shop", so he changed his name to Xoblob and kept going.
Miri listens to Boo, enraptured. "A store where everything is purple?! I love purple! This is so exciting. I wonder who the original Xoblob was. He must have been truly great if he defeated a beholder. Or was the beholder defeated by the current owner?" Miri continues to babble in her excitement as she wanders into the shop with Boo.
A cloud of lavender-scented purple smoke trails out of the shop’s door as you enter. Every wall is painted purple, and every dusty knickknack on the shelves is dyed a deep violet. The hairless old gnome sitting cross-legged on the counter wears plum-colored robes. His cheeks are decorated with nine purple face-painted eyes.
The gnome lowers a pipe and exhales a cloud of lavender smoke before raising a hand. “Hail and well met! Come browse the shelves of the most curious curiosity shop in the world!”

"I like purple." He points to an item on the counter. "I stock curious items that people bring to me. I have a purple-enameled gold coin from a far away land, right here. Over on that shelf there," he points, "I believe I have an old pair of purple socks."
Anyone looking around notices the following items:
A glass eye
A stone disk with intricate carved patterns
A diary
A history book of the rise and fall of Narm the Great
A mummified goblin hand

Miri is intrigued by the stone disk. "Where is this stone from? Do the carvings mean anything? It's so beautiful," she says, looking over at the gnome. She runs her fingers over the stone gingerly, almost as if petting it.
Boo smiles as the others each locate something of interest to take a closer look at while Boo herself moves forward to take a closer look at the glass eye, the shop is filled with so many interesting things then moves over to the mummified goblin hand at Loo's prompting.
Zuldarr wanders around the shop before going over to casually pick up the history book and start flipping through the pages, mostly looking for any pictures, artwork or drawings.

Boo: The hand is what it appears to be. although, interestingly the hand does not appear to be dyed or painted, the purple color is natural.
Zuldarr: There aren't a lot of pictures, to be honest. There is one interesting one early in the book, showing a warrior in plate, surrounded by symbols of victory on his left, and symbols of death on his right. The book is also missing its last chapter,
Summer: You collect your socks.

Boo, gives a jerk of surprise as the gnome shouts at her and looks over at him and back to the mummified goblin hand giving it a sniff wrinkling her small nose, "if I gave it a good lick it would come right off, I think... what did you dip it into, a concoction of blackberries and red cabbage? Still, a very lovely shop that you have here, most wondrous. I am sure you attract all sorts of customers. A fellow by the name of Floon, has not come by lately has he?"
Zuldarr puts the book back down and turns to look at the shop keeper, "This person we are looking for would be a human male in his early thirties with wavy red-blond hair and dressed in what would look like princely garbs. We were told he was last seen around the docks somewhere."

Miri gasps and claps her hands excitedly. "Oh, I can't wait to go in! What wonders will we see?"

Summer waves at the gnome excitedly. He strides up to the counter, nattering:
"Hi! I'm Summer! Why is everything in your shop purple? Do you have purple gloves? What about boots? Oh! Oh! Do you have anything magical for sale?"

Boo picks up the hand and runs her tongue over it Investigation 11 tasting it just to double check that it is not painted or dyed.
Miri digs through her pockets and places two gold on the counter. She stares in wonder at the stone.
Boo: The gnome shouts "No licking!" at you.
