Next, Krolbrik!

Having slain one of the menacing shadow specters, Krolbrik's eyes and blade were still aglow when he heard Adira cry out in pain. The only thing the shadow would see is the orange-hued hobgoblin bounding up with alarming speed, letting loose a fearsome war cry as he brought the glowing blade down with both hands, hoping to bisect the creature.

"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Krolbrik seeks to part the Shadow with his longword like a cheap fabric: 17

Damage, if he connects, using Divine Smite once more: 4 slashing and 15 Radiant damage.

The ghost goes up in holy smoke as your sword cleaves it in two. Its ghastly screams fill the hall as it finally dies.

Bala!

(Aw man... this is where the cleric would have come in handy) (would I know if these things have any weaknesses?)

Just from observing, it seems that these creatures are weak to Krolbrik's radiant attacks.

Aka!

Aka marks the beast in hopes of killing it faster as he plunges his dagger into it.

Attack: 19 Damage: 7 and 5 damage

Aka, you inflict the shadow with your hunter's mark, revealing some critical points in its ghostly visage. You stab at one expertly with your dagger, dealing more damage than before. Again, however, as you remove your dagger the shadowy form folds back in on itself. (Total: 12)

Ericina!

Ericina is going to suddenly begin to change shape once more as she uses her wildshape to change into a Brown Bear . Once she wildshapes she will then turn to claw and then bite at the shadow she had been attacking.

Bite: Attack: 14 Damage: 11

Claw: Attack: 19 Damage: 10

Ericina, you take on the form of a monsterous brown bear, biting and slashing at the shadow in front of you, you tear it asunder. The trauma to its ghostly form is so great and so sudden it doesn't have a chance to reform itself. As you finish your brutal attack, the bits of shadow vanish into thin air. This one is dead.

The remaining shadows, somewhat bruised will disengage for now. Drifting into dark corners of the room, the shadows will hide, 10 and 14. (Anyone can contest with perception.)

The one that was assailing Bala slips into a corner, but thanks to your passive perceptions, you are all still able to track the shadow as it merges into the wall on the far end of the room.

Adira, it's your turn.

Aka, your hunter's mark allows you to easily track the shadow which was assaulting you, it has merged onto the same wall, but in the opposite corner from the shadow that was attacking Bala.

(SORRY to keep everyone waiting, I missed that it was my turn.)

Very injured, Adira will use her full movement to back out of the room now that she's no longer in melee with any creatures. Not wanting to provoke the monsters since they seem to be retreating she will use her action to dodge just in case they come back at her.

(Sorry Bala, I am out of spell slots and my Medicine skill is nooot good.)

Adira backs off to nurse her wounds. Krolbrik!

When the other specters began to retreat, his magic having been expended, Krolbrik would use the brief pause in the action to sheathe his longsword and draw the silver-forged shortsword; he could no longer use any of his magic short of taking an extensive rest, but so long as these evil creatures lurked about, nobody was safe.

So, with that in mind, he attacked the Shadow that sought to futilely hide near Bala, his blade arcing out viciously to further menace the creature.

Krolbrik attacks with his silvered Shortsword: 11

((I'm assuming Krolbrik, as a trained paladin of Torm, would know the applications of Silvered weapons against unholy things.))

Krolbrik stabs into the soft earth of the wall, attempting to strike the shadow. 

(Sure, make an Arcana check with advantage to see if you can suss out if it has a weakness.)

Bala, make a death saving throw please.

Aka!

Aka runs up to his shadow and whispers to it in draconic Goidbye, unholy being!
