Ericina is going to continuento guard over the bandit she had knocked out, dragging him along in her bear form while making sure not to bite down on the arm being used.

Aka and his bird follow, and Aka grabs his bow out as Murder Bird grabs a dagger in his beak. Take this! They move 10ft towards him, and Aka shoots!

Aka then mounts his bird and they fly back to Bala.

Aka, your arrow strikes a tree trunk, missing the captain entirely as he dashes far off into the woods, out of range.

For successfully repelling your assailants, everyone gains 80 xp.

Ericina, the bandit you've drug back to the road lays bleeding on the soil. Bala, some short distance into the foliage also lays in a similar state. From a treetop overlooking the road, a raven's caw breaks the momentary silence and watches your party intently through beady black eyes.

OOC: Eeek I didn't get an alert that this updated! How far has Bala run off at this point? Is he still in Krolbrik and Adira's line of sight, or is Aka the only one who can help him right now?

Krolbrik would give a long, heavy, exasperated sigh and begin trodding forward to possibly retrieve Bala and perhaps help the Tabaxi from the fruits of his own stupidity, looking over to Erincina and Adira as he rubbed the bridge of his nose in exasperation; though patient, there as a limit to what the paladin was willing to tolerate..

"I told them not to chase," Krolbrik grumbled, more than a bit annoyed. "Barovia is a land that none of us know, and the bloodlust of those two is something that will only serve to get us in trouble here. It is bad enough that the people of this land are deathly afraid of the things lurking about here; needlessly antagonizing the Vistani will only burden us needlessly.

"Here," Krolbrik nodded to Erincina, bending low over the one bandit and laid a hand on the man's shoulder, putting 1 point of holy healing energies into the bandit. who, as the bandit came to, would see both the bear and the hobgoblin standing over him. "I'd advise you to stay put, as my comrade here is very likely capable of rending you apart. I've questions, and you shall answer.

And with that, Krolbrik sighed heavily again, looking over to Adira; it was going to be a long trek to Stanimir.

"Come on, let's see if we can find the sneak-thief before he gets himself into any more dire straits."

Ericina lays down on the bandit, putting her bear weight on his legs while one of her paws laid on his chest.

Krolbrik, you easily are able to follow Bala's tracks into the mist. After the row of shrubbery bordering the road, the underbrush thins out in the thick wood. A few dozen yards in you find him in a heap on the ground with Aka leaning over him, his trusty vulture at his side. You hoist him up on your shoulder and carry him back to the rest of the group.

Underneath the weight of Ericina's massive paw, Krolbrik's touch heals the bandits wounds just enough to keep him from dying and jolts him awake. He looks up at the face of Bearicina and lays on his back, looking up at your goblinoid figure looming, Krolbrik. Frightened, the bandit nods as you demand answers from him, "I'll answer anything, I promise, oh please oh please don't eat me, please. I'll give you anything you need."

"Why did you attack us?" Krolbrik asked, his brow stern. "And just how long have you been doing this?"

"I've only ran with Micah's caravan for a year, we're just after valuables," the bandit manages to sputter out his answer between ragged breaths.

Adira chews her lower lip, "Come on guys he's had enough, and we need to get to the encampment by sundown."

Aka draws his dagger and points it at the man’s throat. No he hasn’t. So, buddy, where can I find your captain? He attacked me, and Bala, and I don’t take kindly to that. He looks at the man intimidatingly, and Murder Bird caws loudly, a cry of fear purposes.

Ericina will move closer to him, growling as she lets her law rest on his chest, digging in lightly enough to cause a bit of pressure.

Aka looks at the sky, awaiting the day when the voice in the sky gives out more instructions.
